blended thai tea and iced thai tea
Christa M.

It has been years since I last visited this place. My niece suggested we stop by on Saturday night for a drink and so we did. There were two workers and one of them quickly greeted us. We looked over the menu on the one working TV screen as the other two were broken. We ordered one thai tea crush and one regular thai tea with boba. The drinks took about 10 minutes or so to be ready. My thai tea was ok and tasted like any other thai tea - nothing special. My niece did not like her blended drink as it had no flavor and tasted very watered down. There was plenty of seating available. The inside had a strong smell of food and spices. We had just eaten so the overwhelming smell of food did not do too well for us. I'm pretty sure new people are in charge as everything felt and looked different.

Came here and have to say was not impressed, I got the strawberry matcha latte, and the taste just didn't hit. They made it in 1 minute so my hopes of it being good was not there, and after tasting it, it was extreamly powdery. The strawberry mix they used had no fresh strawberry. The drink came out to be 7.25$ but on the menu it shows the price as 5.80, not sure how why it was 2$ more... The inside was quiet and didn't have any music playing and overall it didn't feel very clean inside as well. I came here a few years back and the quality had dropped off significantly.

This was a $8 scoop of Vegan Pistachio Ice Cream... that is absolutely ridiculous... I was hoping for something bigger than a sauce cup. Also...My husband asked for a custom ice cream and she made her own type of ice cream with nothing he asked for in it.

Such delicious and creamy icecream! We got the cookie crumble special and it craved each sweet craving I had! It was a little pricey for the size and what it was, but it was well crafted. They had a cute decorated wall where you can take nice pictures too and many seats inside. Cute place to catch up with grabs and grab something sweet!

I'm disappointed in the food and the boba. The total was $27 for chicken that tastes funny and dry. The drink was too sweet and the Bobo was hard and not sweet. I ended up not drinking it and the food I ended up tossing it. It didn't look like the picture at all. The chicken had a couple brunt pieces. The staff is super friendly though.

We came here after we ate dinner and there were not too many people here. The menu had drinks and ice cream and of course we decided to get both to try. We ordered the Vanilla with captain crunch berries and strawberries and a single Tiramisu for ice cream. For the drinks, we ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and Matcha Latte. The ice cream came out first then the drinks came out second. The ice cream was delicious and either flavor would be good to order. The Jasmine Milk Tea with boba tasted good to me as well as the Matcha Latte. The boba was soft and chewy which was good. I'll be back to try other drinks and ice cream!

This is a nice spot to grab a dessert treat right off the 101 in Scottsdale. Rewind is a sister store to Pokitrition and is located right next to them. They have two concepts at Rewind - cereal infused ice cream and layered drinks with or without matcha with boba add-ons. I love this concept as I grew up up eating big bowls of cereal while watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Rewind has a nice variety of ice cream flavors plus toppings to choose from. I got a double scoop of Bourbon Caramel Toffee Crunch and Thai Tea when I stopped in. You can't go wrong with drinks choices here as the menu has tons of regular teas and milk teas, matcha and blended drink options to choose from. Make it an evening and grab a sushi burrito at Pokitrition and then head over to Rewind for a delicious treat afterwards.

Stopped by after Black Friday Shopping and it was a treat. They were out of chrysanthemum tea and almond milk, so we got the taro tea (no caffeine) and the matcha coffee 25% sweet with coconut milk and boba. The boba is sweet like brown sugar, so I could have gone no added sweetness with the coconut milk, but their matcha and coffee are the stars. I drink black coffee so don't really like my boba drinks super sweet. Really yummy though. I'd be back just for that! They also have a bunch of soft serve, matcha, bourbon caramel toffee, honey lavender, Thai tea. I'd come back just to try some of those!

We wanted some dessert after dinner and this was nearby so we came here. There were a few other people ahead of us but service was friendly and we got our treats in an appropriate amount of time. Since it was late, I didn't want a drink with caffeine but ended up ordering the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream flavor? Whoops. My friend got their caramel toffee crunch flavor with cheesecake bites, and I added honey boba to mine. I suppose we could've gotten a double scoop and saved some money but we didn't think about that. My scoop didn't really taste like coffee? And the boba was just okay, less chewy than I prefer but maybe due to being on top of cold ice cream. The toffee flavor was too sweet for me but my friend enjoyed it. Also a bit on the pricey side. Maybe their drinks are different so I'll have to try one next time.

Drink: I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and it was amazing!! I got it with coconut milk and boba and loved it! Service: omg like the best staff! Sunshine and Denise were so kind and you could tell Denise the owner really cared about her business and it's customers. She let us try whatever we wanted she was so sweet and Sunshine is such a hard worker and makes amazing Matcha lattes! Ambiance: super cute spot with cute decor Prices: on the higher end, I paid $10 for my drink Parking: plenty as they have a designated lot

The drinks are beautiful and have layers that make them perfect for Instagram photos. There are also a couple of spots that are also perfect for selfies. One area has greenery on the wall and a lit slogan sign. The other spot is along a wall with wall paper on it that looks like leaves. I got a matcha strawberry drink. It was beautiful, but much too sugary for me. I tried a little sip of each of the layers first, then I stirred it up after that and drank it that way. I was advised by the store employee to stir the drink to best enjoy it. It was funny how I have been told that a lot of people drink layered drinks wrong. Apparently a lot of people drink it like I did at first, by drinking it layer by layer when it is meant to be shaken and consumed with all the layers together. The store is small, which makes sense because it is primarily a drink shop. It was difficult to find parking at the time, maybe because it is in the same plaza as a couple of business companies s well as quite a few other dining shops. The service was quick and fast. It did take a little time to get the drink made, but that was to be expected as it is made by hand to create the layers. The matcha flavor is strong and can be tasted even when the drink is mixed. The strawberry seemed like it was a syrup. I believe they said that they had special milk that they use. The store was pretty clean and quiet. I like quiet stores.

Hard and thin gummies that supposed to be for the Fruity Tootie Ice Cream

Waste of money for the ice cream. Paid $9 for one cup of ice cream when it's suppose to come with cone. Has two broken screens in the waiting area. Workers are nice tho. The fruity ice cream had hard gummies, not because of the cold and they were thin, paper thin.. Has to be new management and transitioning into something else with a whole kitchen in the waiting area.

Love this place! I was looking for some boba after lunch and this place came up on my Yelp search. I think I've been to another Rewind location? Can't remember if this is the same place or new. Anyway the menu was the same as what I remembered several years ago and I ended up ordering the same thing. Strawberry Green tea. Color combinations are so pretty, it's fun to drink too. They asked for the sweetness level and I said 25%. Minimum sweetness for this particular drink was 50% a that's how I ordered it. I like the sweet drink but not too sweet. Just right amount of sweetness is my preference. I like they let you pick your sweetness to your liking. It's so close to the freeway, easy access. I will definitely be back!

The flavor is phenomenal. Only thing is, I wish they were a little crispier but I'm sure you could request that upon ordering. Fried rice and noodles are also delicious! First time I got the dumplings there, and second time had them delivered. Equally delicious- which I was worried about. Just so you know! :)

For my entrees I get the chicken teriyaki, al pastor chicken, and broccoli beef. Everything has so much flavor, the chicken is flavorful and always cooked perfectly. I've also gotten the jalapeño chicken, it's also good but I don't like how the breading becomes mushy in a way. The chicken al pastor has grilled onion and pineapple, you can always ask for it without it. It also comes with a sauce that makes it even better. The broccoli beef has so much flavor as well, it's always cooked to perfection and the beef is always tender. They have a deal where you get a free appetizer if you buy a drink and it's worth it. I definitely recommend checking this place out. They have so many different food options, they also have tacos and birria ramen. The birria ramen has so much flavor and the beef is very tender and juicy. They use the Tapatio ramen so if you can't handle spicy, I wouldn't recommend it. I requested wheelchair accessibility, no street parking, lighter meal choices, good reviews, and something in our general vicinity. Pitta Souvli stood out among the choices and, as it turns out, it's all that and more. From the moment we arrived, we just felt so welcomed. Someone saw us coming and held the door, which means so much when you're trying to wrangle a wheelchair. There is inside and outside seating (on the patio). And it just turned nice here in Arizona, so the doors were open and the atmosphere was great. Mom wanted to sit inside. Everyone else was outside so we practically had the inside to ourselves. What a lovely experience. One that has stayed with me for days since. One of the owners, Rhonda, served us and she was delightful. We wanted to try a few tastes so we ordered a couple of appetizers and shared a main. For appetizers we ordered the Mediterranean Garlic Shrimp and Pesto Caprese Brushetta. Rhonda said those were her two favorites, and I can see why. I can't imagine ever going without ordering both of those appetizers again. For the main we had the Lamb Souvlaki Platter and that was delicious too. Tender chunks of lamb on skewers, these tasty potatoes that had a bit of a vinegar flavor, which I loved, and a small Greek salad. I've had plenty of Greek in my lifetime, but this place really elevates the concept. I can't remember a time recently when I enjoyed myself as much as I did. Mom said the same. Thank you, Rhonda and Team Pitta Souvli, for an amazing meal and even better service. Can't wait until we can come back again! Researched with ChatGPT. Written by me. :)

It was a nice place for our small group to talk without loud music or crowded chatter of a larger place. Service: The owner was very friendly and we chatted about the beauty of Thailand. When I mentioned it, our server promptly addressed the mistake. However, it appeared that pineapple had simply been added on the side and that someone had attempted to remove the tomatoes from the original dish. I really love trying a little of everything so the Thali was the way to go! It's served with white rice, your choice of Chapati (tortilla consistency carb) or Poori (fluffy fried carb), Raitha (sour yogurt), what seemed to be potato salad (which I think was Kuruma Curry), Bagara rice (which was a little sweet to me), and a cinnamon-y dessert. I also got the Mango Lassi (mango yogurt drink) which came in clutch because the Chicken Curry was actually pretty spicy, it definitely helped neutralize the heat. I was so happy to be able to try a lot of the curries available, my favorites were the Shrimp and the Fish. I never had Kuruma Curry before (the potato one) but I actually really enjoyed that one too. My boyfriend's favorite was the Chicken Curry because it was authentically spicy which was reminiscent of his South Indian coworker's cooking. The service here is on point, I want to say 6 or 7 different workers came by to ask if we wanted refills on any of the curries, to offer us more food (we also got a donut-like carb), or to make sure we were good. However, when we came back so excited for more it was a weird experience here. We came at 5pm especially to try the banana Bajji listed as an option between 5pm-7pm only to be told it's not available. Then tried to order the Kara Kuzhambu with the lentil dumplings and told lentil dumplings not available anymore only okra/ eggplant option for this. The restaurant vibe felt really odd in general. We kind of felt like they weren't sure if they wanted to be open right now or something. The tables were not clean from lunch and they didn't get back to us when we asked questions. We decided to leave and come back another time given the great first experience. The next day, we decided to try again at lunch when the restaurant seems to do most of the business and I called to double check they have the Kara Kuzhambu with eggplant/ okra options just in case and two people seemed to have no idea what I am talking about. I spelled it, explained it's on the menu and it's a tamarind based curry- nothing. The dish I tried here before was very good and I really appreciate that their menu is marked for allergies and different diets. It seems to be very popular among Indian people and a fun cultural experience at weekend brunch/ lunch. However, the service felt really weird and unwelcoming this time and with the dishes listed on the menu but not being available it was a let down. The waiter told us the banana bajji and the lentil dumplings were discontinued completely so it was a bummer they are still listed on the menu. This confusing and unwelcoming exprience led to a big rating difference from me even though I really liked the food I tried in my first visit as well as the atmosphere. Still happy for that super fun first memory here though! My general rating system: 1 star: I would stay away 2 stars: Has some good things about it but I generally don't recommend. 3 stars: Pretty good. All of the fresh flavors of butter chicken and cilantro into pizza form - Yum. Going to try the saag pizza next, or chicken tikka. Also excited to try the Indian flavor inspired wings as well. Happy that they offer more typical pizza combos as well. There's something for everyone for sure. Will be back soon for more!!

Atmosphere - The first time I visited, there were no strange or strong odors or smells. The last time I visited, it smelled like the sewer backed up and maybe it did since it was raining that day. I did not visit the restroom. It was not very busy inside, but the order took awhile to come out. Some guys were playing pool. Service - There were about two employees. Order and pay at the counter. Self seating. Parking - Surface parking lot. No parking meter or parking structures. Wish there was covered parking or solar panels. Unique - The flavor of the pizza.
