What a fun concept! I made a visit here with a handful of kids; they loved watching the employees mix and roll their ice cream behind the glass. I tried the s'mores flavor, and it was so good, exactly as I expected it to be. Considering the effort put into each cup, I did not feel like we waited very long for each of us to all get our ice cream. Everyone was nice, and had great suggestions for flavors. The store itself was clean and inviting.
We love rolled ice cream places, the technique they use ends up with a creamier, thicker ice cream roll that's fun to watch them make and fun to eat. This place is just a little on the pricier side and you might not want to share. The folks running the place were nice and patient while we were making our choice and choosing toppings. The Thai tea ice cream (romantic Bangkok) was really well-balanced and tasty, and goes well with the toppings. Located in Mekong palace, quiet on the inside with comfy chairs. Great place to stop by after grabbing some groceries or lunch.
Loved this cute little rolled ice cream shop in Mekong Plaza. There is lots of seating and even some crane games - perfect for entertaining families. Their menu has great ice cream options, including Asian-inspired flavors and traditional flavors alike. I got the macho matcha and my friend got the caramel vanilla - both satisfied our ice cream craving! The matcha rolled ice cream was good but I'm not sure if I liked the blueberry combination (personal preference). I also wanted to try their Thai tea rolled ice cream. They also sell boba tea and macaron cookies. The cherry on top was the staff - they were very patient and kind when we didn't know what to order. We were also escaping a rainstorm and they let us stay a little bit until close. Really appreciate this amazing customer service - we'll be back again!
This was our first time trying rolled ice cream. I have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed it. My wife and I got the Mocha chip and my son got the Mango Tango. This ice cream is different. It isn't overly sweet and heavy. But still packs quite a flavor punch. The employees are very nice too. The parlor was clean and had a lively feel. The final plus is the price. All of the choices were $8.99. I think that's a deal by today's standards.

I choose the S'mores item, chocolate ice cream curls with graham cracker crumbles and a fragrant, freshly toasted marshmallow. There are several more menu options, it was difficult deciding. Loved trying them out, watching my order be created, and quite efficiently finishing it off. Think we'll be back again.
Finally got to try rolled ice cream here! It's so fun to watch them rolling ice cream, and the texture is fun! However, ice cream itself is nothing special. It's still fun to try though :)
My kids adore this place! I finally broke down and got myself one! They did not disappoint! #9 Romantic Bangkok was my choice. Great service, loved the music, the roll ice cream is delicious and fun to watch them make! Always done perfectly and never came across an unhappy employee!
I've been to Roll Ave back then and I noticed this business may have changed names and owners. Vietnamese Iced Coffee- Very good and I love it. I think they use non dairy creamer for their drinks which made it really good. Worth the trip to Mesa!
Today seemed like a good day for a refreshing drink. I got the Sapphire blue raspberry drink. The drink is very similar to an Italian soda. Refreshing and quenching. Shared parking lot and WiFi.

I have seen videos online of this style of ice cream making and when I saw the store, I knew I had to try it. It's funny because the amount of ice cream you get looks like less than a half of a cup but when I done mixing it and rolling it, it looks like a decent size. The place had a weird smell to it. I wouldn't say bad or good, but it was definitely there.

What a treat! My family was visiting in town and mentioned a craving for rolled ice cream. I have had it once before, but did not have a go to and Yelp popped up Roll Avenue nearby. Not realizing it was located in Mekong Shopping Plaza, we found a spot to park and rolled on in - no pun attended! It shares a space with a boba tea spot, either ample seating. You do get a strong whiff of fish when you walk in, as it shares the open market space with the grocery store, so don't let it put you off! The service was so great, with the gentlemen giving a run down of fan favorites, his personal favorites and helped us narrow down from their many options! We thought about going with the cookies n cream, their top seller, but after consideration when with their mocha chip, coffee ice cream option. It's so fun watching them make it right there and then getting the option for any of the fixing from drizzles, whip, fresh fruits, pocky sticks and much more. My whole family loved their treats and we perused the market while enjoying. They ran about 8 bucks a pop, but with the freshness, quality and ability to customize it was well worth it! Also very shareable.
I've been CRAVING roll ice cream and literally drove 30mins for this place! This ice cream roll place is located at MEKONG PLAZA MARKET. They have tons of stores, restaurant to visit! I bought some Sonny Angel and stop by for a cold treat! This NEVER disappoint. HITS THE SWEET TOOTH SPOT! Service was good! Didnt wait long for someone to notice me on the roll ice cream side. This place has two business in one. So they can get busy servicing drinks on the other end. I think what I order was berry something it was delicious! I savored every bite! Stopped in last night for dessert after a friend and I went to dinner. Decided on trying the sunset, which is mango ice cream with strawberry mixed in, and strawberry and mango pieces on top. The mango and strawberry pieces were both very fresh and they offer caramel, chocolate or condensed milk on top. I just don't feel the mango ice cream had much flavor. I liked the additional strawberry chopped into the ice cream, it added flavor and texture. But the mango ice cream itself was very bland. The booths to sit could use some upkeep. They are run down and a bit beat up. Wish I could rate it a 3.5, because overall it was decent but not the best ice cream I've had. read more

Food: 6/5 The Oreo rolled ice cream was phenomenal! It was creamy and sweet without being too overbearing. I got all of the toppings, such as carmaker sauce, chocolate sauce, chocolate chips, an Oreo, and a pocky stick. The toppings elevated the dessert to a delectable sundae. Service: Being my first time at this shop, the cashier gave me a stamp card. She was also kind enough to offer all of the toppings. She was extra precise and neat when placing the fixings on my ice cream. Ambiance: 5/5 The inside is cute and aesthetic. There are multiple toy vending machines and even has a wall with hearts attached to it. Overall, the rolled ice cream is decadent and is a must visit if you are stopping by Mekong Plaza. read more
Had dinner at another establishment and decided to have dessert here. They have a large variety of options. I'll definitely be back to try other flavors. We were waited on immediately and it didn't take long to receive our order. They have comfortable and ample seating. It's decorated nicely, too. Very nice for a family or friend outing. I've seen these places online but never have been to one. I'll be sure to stop back again. My son was a big a great time just watch them make this for him. The flavors were spot on for ice cream. If you have kids, stop in I'm sure they will enjoy it (you will too). read more

This is my husband and I favorite go-to tea spot. We come once every week and they never disappoint. The employees are always nice and give great recommendations. I like how they have punch cards. They have a big drink menu and if you like energy drinks, they have tasty ones. You can also customize your sugar level which I always do. Shoutout to the young gentleman who always helps us. He always answers our questions and remembers us. I've had other drinks at this plaza and this one is the best and has waaayyy better service. They're also an ice cream shop read more

The shop was pretty crowded when I got there, but service was still quick! The workers were all really nice and it was fun to watch them roll the ice cream. The shop is cute and there is plenty of seating and was fun to wander the market after. The ice cream looked delicious. I thought it tasted just okay, it wasn't anything crazy but the experience is what made this worth it. read more
The experience of coming here and watching them make the ice cream is half the fun. It's almost like the Benihana of ice cream places, as you're so memorized by the process that it makes it so much fun to eat! We have been coming to Mekong Plaza for at least three years and finally decided to stop here after our dinner a few weeks back. It might sound weird, but I feel like the rolled ice cream tastes like Dippin' Dots, which I love. You can get whatever you want on your rolled ice cream, and the staff is accommodating with any questions. When we came later in the evening, it was more relaxed, with plenty of seats. I can 100% see this place packed during the summer and every chair filled. Since it takes a little time for them to make the rolled ice cream, prepare for the wait. There is usually plenty of parking in the Mekong Plaza parking lot and I'm sure there will be more in the future with the expansion. Make sure to have your camera out to take photos! They have a photo wall too for taking pictures with your ice cream if you're into that too. read more

Ice cream is good, employees are nice. Only complaint I would have is all of the dirty out of service claw machines and fridge. Just makes it extra chaotic in there on top of the fact that it's two businesses in one and they're busy. read more
At first I thought it was cool to be able to see how they make ice cream & roll it. But to make things even perfect....the ice cream is actually pretty tasty!
