It has been years since I last visited this place. My niece suggested we stop by on Saturday night for a drink and so we did. There were two workers and one of them quickly greeted us. We looked over the menu on the one working TV screen as the other two were broken. We ordered one thai tea crush and one regular thai tea with boba. The drinks took about 10 minutes or so to be ready. My thai tea was ok and tasted like any other thai tea - nothing special. My niece did not like her blended drink as it had no flavor and tasted very watered down. There was plenty of seating available. The inside had a strong smell of food and spices. We had just eaten so the overwhelming smell of food did not do too well for us. I'm pretty sure new people are in charge as everything felt and looked different.

Came here and have to say was not impressed, I got the strawberry matcha latte, and the taste just didn't hit. They made it in 1 minute so my hopes of it being good was not there, and after tasting it, it was extreamly powdery. The strawberry mix they used had no fresh strawberry. The drink came out to be 7.25$ but on the menu it shows the price as 5.80, not sure how why it was 2$ more... The inside was quiet and didn't have any music playing and overall it didn't feel very clean inside as well. I came here a few years back and the quality had dropped off significantly.

This was a $8 scoop of Vegan Pistachio Ice Cream... that is absolutely ridiculous... I was hoping for something bigger than a sauce cup. Also...My husband asked for a custom ice cream and she made her own type of ice cream with nothing he asked for in it.

Such delicious and creamy icecream! We got the cookie crumble special and it craved each sweet craving I had! It was a little pricey for the size and what it was, but it was well crafted. They had a cute decorated wall where you can take nice pictures too and many seats inside. Cute place to catch up with grabs and grab something sweet!

I'm disappointed in the food and the boba. The total was $27 for chicken that tastes funny and dry. The drink was too sweet and the Bobo was hard and not sweet. I ended up not drinking it and the food I ended up tossing it. It didn't look like the picture at all. The chicken had a couple brunt pieces. The staff is super friendly though.

Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and Matcha Latte

We came here after we ate dinner and there were not too many people here. The menu had drinks and ice cream and of course we decided to get both to try. We ordered the Vanilla with captain crunch berries and strawberries and a single Tiramisu for ice cream. For the drinks, we ordered the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba and Matcha Latte. The ice cream came out first then the drinks came out second. The ice cream was delicious and either flavor would be good to order. The Jasmine Milk Tea with boba tasted good to me as well as the Matcha Latte. The boba was soft and chewy which was good. I'll be back to try other drinks and ice cream!

This is a nice spot to grab a dessert treat right off the 101 in Scottsdale. Rewind is a sister store to Pokitrition and is located right next to them. They have two concepts at Rewind - cereal infused ice cream and layered drinks with or without matcha with boba add-ons. I love this concept as I grew up up eating big bowls of cereal while watching Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Rewind has a nice variety of ice cream flavors plus toppings to choose from. I got a double scoop of Bourbon Caramel Toffee Crunch and Thai Tea when I stopped in. You can't go wrong with drinks choices here as the menu has tons of regular teas and milk teas, matcha and blended drink options to choose from. Make it an evening and grab a sushi burrito at Pokitrition and then head over to Rewind for a delicious treat afterwards.

Stopped by after Black Friday Shopping and it was a treat. They were out of chrysanthemum tea and almond milk, so we got the taro tea (no caffeine) and the matcha coffee 25% sweet with coconut milk and boba. The boba is sweet like brown sugar, so I could have gone no added sweetness with the coconut milk, but their matcha and coffee are the stars. I drink black coffee so don't really like my boba drinks super sweet. Really yummy though. I'd be back just for that! They also have a bunch of soft serve, matcha, bourbon caramel toffee, honey lavender, Thai tea. I'd come back just to try some of those!

We wanted some dessert after dinner and this was nearby so we came here. There were a few other people ahead of us but service was friendly and we got our treats in an appropriate amount of time. Since it was late, I didn't want a drink with caffeine but ended up ordering the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream flavor? Whoops. My friend got their caramel toffee crunch flavor with cheesecake bites, and I added honey boba to mine. I suppose we could've gotten a double scoop and saved some money but we didn't think about that. My scoop didn't really taste like coffee? And the boba was just okay, less chewy than I prefer but maybe due to being on top of cold ice cream. The toffee flavor was too sweet for me but my friend enjoyed it. Also a bit on the pricey side. Maybe their drinks are different so I'll have to try one next time.

Drink: I ordered the strawberry matcha latte and it was amazing!! I got it with coconut milk and boba and loved it! Service: omg like the best staff! Sunshine and Denise were so kind and you could tell Denise the owner really cared about her business and it's customers. She let us try whatever we wanted she was so sweet and Sunshine is such a hard worker and makes amazing Matcha lattes! Ambiance: super cute spot with cute decor Prices: on the higher end, I paid $10 for my drink Parking: plenty as they have a designated lot

The drinks are beautiful and have layers that make them perfect for Instagram photos. There are also a couple of spots that are also perfect for selfies. One area has greenery on the wall and a lit slogan sign. The other spot is along a wall with wall paper on it that looks like leaves. I got a matcha strawberry drink. It was beautiful, but much too sugary for me. I tried a little sip of each of the layers first, then I stirred it up after that and drank it that way. I was advised by the store employee to stir the drink to best enjoy it. It was funny how I have been told that a lot of people drink layered drinks wrong. Apparently a lot of people drink it like I did at first, by drinking it layer by layer when it is meant to be shaken and consumed with all the layers together. The store is small, which makes sense because it is primarily a drink shop. It was difficult to find parking at the time, maybe because it is in the same plaza as a couple of business companies s well as quite a few other dining shops. The service was quick and fast. It did take a little time to get the drink made, but that was to be expected as it is made by hand to create the layers. The matcha flavor is strong and can be tasted even when the drink is mixed. The strawberry seemed like it was a syrup. I believe they said that they had special milk that they use. The store was pretty clean and quiet. I like quiet stores.

Hard and thin gummies that supposed to be for the Fruity Tootie Ice Cream

Waste of money for the ice cream. Paid $9 for one cup of ice cream when it's suppose to come with cone. Has two broken screens in the waiting area. Workers are nice tho. The fruity ice cream had hard gummies, not because of the cold and they were thin, paper thin.. Has to be new management and transitioning into something else with a whole kitchen in the waiting area.

Yuko H.

Love this place! I was looking for some boba after lunch and this place came up on my Yelp search. I think I've been to another Rewind location? Can't remember if this is the same place or new. Anyway the menu was the same as what I remembered several years ago and I ended up ordering the same thing. Strawberry Green tea. Color combinations are so pretty, it's fun to drink too. They asked for the sweetness level and I said 25%. Minimum sweetness for this particular drink was 50% a that's how I ordered it. I like the sweet drink but not too sweet. Just right amount of sweetness is my preference. I like they let you pick your sweetness to your liking. It's so close to the freeway, easy access. I will definitely be back!

Don't send your child in alone. The girl behind the counter told our grandson the machine was broken so his kid cup was filled only one-third of the way (about 5 tablespoons) and watery, although he still paid full price and tipped. When he returned to the car he was obviously disappointed so I went in to ask about it. The shift manager told me that's how they come now and then added, "Have a nice day." I guess rudeness and minion size portions is how they roll! As for us, we walked over to Culliver's where my grandson got a real size cup of ice cream with great customer service! read more

My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday around 3pm and we expected a long line of people. To our surprise, it was just us and 2 other people. The inside was clean and well kept except for the couch they have. We figured a lot of people like to sit on that couch so there's some ice cream stains on it. It was our first time here and the menu is very self explanatory so it's easy to order what you want. The service was great, we enjoyed our ice cream and milkshake. Would definitely recommend to a friend! read more

So aesthetic and delicious ice cream! My boyfriend and I shared the cookies and cream ice cream in a cup and it was very good. My second time going I got the vegan coconut ice cream so people who are dairy free like me can also enjoy! I got the coconut ice cream as a base, Oreos as my mix in, and cookie dough as my topping and it tasted SO GOOD. I recommend getting things in a cone because it seems you get more for your money read more

I'm so glad there is another boba place to visit when I'm in Phoenix. I had ordered the iced matcha latte, which was perfectly made the way I like it (you can definitely taste the matcha, but it's not too overpowered by the sweetness of the sugar and milk). The cereal milk ice cream was also delicious. I almost forgot to take a picture, since it looked so good. read more

I'd like to start off by saying I've been here 3 times in the past week. Each time, I got a different drink and each one was excellent. The service has been great, all the people I've seen working have been kind and it's very clean and cutely decorated inside! The vegan options are awesome and I'm so happy that a lot of their popular drinks are dairy free by default without having to ask. I love floral flavors like lavender and rose, so their rose milk latte is amazing and their honey lavender ice cream is PERFECT, Most places never put ENOUGH lavender into things, but this had great flavor. I've brought my wife and also recommended to my coworkers, we all work up the road. Please consider coming to Gilbert/Mesa so I can enjoy closer to home!!! Love this place. read more

For boba drinks, it's only 3 stars worthy. The matcha tastes good, nothing amazing. If you want to pay $7 for a scoop of crunchy vanilla ice cream, then this place might be for you. I was utterly baffled by the concept of this place, but curiosity got the better of me. In hindsight, the $4.50 "bowl of cereal with milk" should have been a major red flag. While the first layer of caramel and brownies that topped my creation were admittedly rather tasty, the crunchy mess below was immensely unsatisfying. I'm pretty confused by other reviews pointing out ample parking and "competitive pricing," which were not my experience at all. read more

I recently moved to the area, and as a passionate foodie, was looking for a new boba/ice cream shop to feed my cravings! Search no further! The decor is beautiful, and the staff were friendly; they gave some recommendations of their popular drinks, and they also do seasonal ones too! I decided to go with the Rose Milk Tea which has hints of floral notes; absolutely refreshing and not too sweet. My friend created his own ice cream with toppings, but don't worry, they've got popular creations of their own if you can't make up your mind. The bobas were chewy and hard. They could keep the kitchen area cleaner and better stocked. One of the staff members was polite and another was expressive in a not-polite way. I asked if they sold like tubs of ice creams with toppings (If they did I wanted to take four multiple folks). In my mind, they could say no which the polite one said. I had high hopes for this place. When I first entered it was really clean and service folks were really nice. I ended up grabbing the strawberry shortcake (one size only). When I was rung up I thought it was a mistake but it was over $7 (seemed expensive). Once they made my order I dove right in. This place used to be amazing and they went way downhill. Everything is much smaller ( and what I mean is it used to be tall and well made now the ice cream is short & stubby with old ingredients) and more expensive. We used to go there all the time and get the minions treat and the last two times that we have been, It's a very big disappointment. Came with a small group of friends for an evening of sweet treats; first time for us to be here…read more Let me start by saying, the 4 stars are for the product itself...I would have truly given 2 stars for the two young men working that evening. Having never been, it took us some time to get the feel of the treats, watch others order, study the menu and then deciding on what to order. Several others in our group had been previously and they all had suggestions as well to share. Both of us got a small Jelati, which is a layered mix of Italian Ice and soft serve ice cream...you can also choose to have toppings like sprinkles, Oreo cookie crumbs, butter cookies, etc. I decided on the Key West Tropical (a wonderful tasting mix of pineapple, mango, passion fruit, banana, and coconut) layered with vanilla soft-serve and no toppings. Also, I choose the small size which was actually perfect for a tasty treat. The Jelati itself was so good...creamy and the Tropical ice was amazing and so made me want to be in the tropics! Wife decided on the lemon ice layered with vanilla and no toppings. She loved it but did say it needed a tad more of that lemon tart flavor. We will come back to try some of the other flavor combos...highly recommend this place for nice, cool, summer treat! Now on to the reason I initially said I would give 2 stars for the employees. As I was watching them make treats, I observed no gloves, I observed both touching their faces and hair, rubbing hands on pants, etc. When I was asked about ordering, I specifically asked that the young man making the treats please wash his hands and glove up, to which I got a look from the one taking the orders but he walked over to the other one, said something to him and he in turn took over the cash register while the initial young man who took the order went and washed his hands for a second or two, walked over to the gloves, put them on and made my treat. As soon as he was done, the gloves came off and he continued to make the following treats being ordered. Although nothing was said by either, the looks and overall tone was definitely changed but I really didn't care and just explained that food safety should be the top of their list. Just in case they see this...from the AzDHS food safety website: In Arizona, food workers must avoid bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods by using single-use gloves, tongs, or deli paper. We will be back for sure so hopefully employees are brought up to speed on safety requirements for washing hands and wearing gloves.

I recently tried a boba tea from a popular local spot, and sadly, it was a letdown from start to finish. From the overly sweet flavor to the disappointing texture of the pearls, this drink missed the mark on several levels. Firstly, the sweetness was overwhelming. It felt like I was drinking liquid sugar with a hint of tea, completely masking any subtleties in the tea's flavor profile. This made the entire experience feel artificial and cloying. Secondly, the boba pearls were a major disappointment. They were overly chewy, almost to the point of being rubbery, which detracted from the overall enjoyment of the drink. Additionally, some of the pearls were stuck together in clumps, making it difficult to sip the tea without encountering these unpleasant textures. Furthermore, the presentation of the drink was lackluster. The pearls had sunk to the bottom of the cup, and despite stirring, they remained clustered together instead of evenly distributed throughout the drink. This resulted in an uneven distribution of flavor and texture, further detracting from the experience. Overall, my experience with this boba tea was highly unsatisfactory. The excessive sweetness, poor pearl quality, and lack of proper mixing left much to be desired. For anyone looking for a truly enjoyable boba tea experience, I would recommend seeking out a different establishment with a better reputation for quality and attention to detail. read more

I recently visited Rewind - Ice Cream + Boba Tea in Chandler, Arizona and while I enjoyed my treats, I must say that I was a bit disappointed with the quality of ingredients used in their creations. We tried the Fruity Tooty in a cup and the Cookie Crumble in a cone, and while they were pretty good, they didn't really stand out as anything special. The ice cream was decent, but didn't blow us away. One thing that really caught my attention was when we saw the owner come in and drop off materials. She brought in a carton of "Great Value" milk, which was the lowest quality milk I have ever seen. This was surprising to me, especially since their website claims that their creations are artisanal and made with high-quality ingredients. It was a little disappointing to see such a low-quality ingredient being used in their products. Overall, I would say that Rewind - Ice Cream + Boba Tea is an okay spot for a sweet treat, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. While the treats we had were decent, the quality of ingredients used left something to be desired. read more

My friend and I were eating ramen on ray road and was thinking of going to our usual boba shop afterwards but we noticed this place on google maps, unsure if it was new at the time, and the menu looked pretty decent so we decided to go. Went inside and the interior is really cute and they have a wall with big photos of their drinks which I really appreciated. I ordered the rose milk latte because 1 I really love rose flavored drinks/desserts and 2, the colors of the drink are rose quartz and serenity which are the fandom colors of my favorite group haha. My friend ordered the strawberry crush and although both drinks are pretty good in taste, they were unbelievably too sweet and it's sad because we weren't able to adjust our sweetness. Boba was a nice texture, not too squishy not too hard, but there wasn't a lot of flavor. I haven't been back to this area since then but I'd probably give it another chance some other time. read more

I recently visited Rewind, a delightful specialty ice cream and boba shop, and I was thoroughly impressed! Before we even pull up to the window, we've started joking about what kind of mood she'll be in, but the reality is, it's always the same: unfriendly. We genuinely look forward to coming here for the ice cream, but we've reached the point where we dread the drive-thru experience because of the customer service. It's unfortunate because one employee shouldn't overshadow an otherwise great business. I hope management sees this as constructive feedback. The ice cream keeps us coming back, but a warm, friendly interaction would make the experience as enjoyable as the product itself.
