What a great family owned business! If you want to feel like a kid again going to thrifty ice cream with your grandparents, try this spot! The scoops were large and it was very affordable. Friendly service and lots of indoor seating. Skip baskin Robbins down the road, and head over here to this place where you will feel like you're in family's backyard, very comfortable atmosphere. This was a fun stop after going to my granddaughter's cheer competition. Not too far off the freeway, so we decided to stop in. Our family just visited this little shop for the first time tonight. What a pleasant experience: the shop - and the family who run it - are gems. They have two dozen flavors of ice cream available, lots of toppings, and make everything from simple waffle cones to more elaborate creations. The store and food prep area is spotless and well organized, the shop is well lit and colorful...did I mention the folks who run it are delightful!? Welcoming and genuinely happy to serve, with generous portions and reasonable prices, this unpretentious shop deserves to be at the top of your list the next time you need an ice cream fix! read more

We went tonight for the first time ever because this gracious small business held a fundraiser for the local school. Their menu looked amazing but we have only had the mangonado and a scoop of cotton candy ice cream. Both of my girls were super happy with the cotton candy ice cream and the mangonado cured a craving I have had for SO LONG. The girls can't wait to bring their dad this weekend! read more

Our new favorite ice cream shop hands down. We love thriftys ice cream. This spot is clean, cute and the customer service is amazing. After we paid, my daughter (2yo) was pointing at the sprinkles and they offered to give her a cup of sprinkles for her cone. So nice and we will definitely be regulars there now. read more

Great customer service and very friendly hosts. They have a fantastic assortment of desserts and make the best banana splits. Most importantly they give you choices if you want to change something and use real ice cream not soft serve mix. read more
