Please stay away from this company. Worst experience in my lifetime. The experience creates a massive negative impact on my life. I have not slept well for almost 3 weeks because my alarm system keeps beeping randomly. I am a customer of Republic Elite since 2015. I have paid every month for 7 years. Recently my alarm system keeps beeping non-stop and looks like there is a technical issue with the network connection with my system. I really want to fix this problem because It beeps in the morning/night and we could not even sleep now. So, 3 weeks ago, I called them for the first time in 7 years. A lady picked up the phone, and after I explain what happen, she hang me up. Lolll yes She hanged up on me. I called again, a different lady with a pretty bad attitude, told me that a technician will call me. I also call my sales person, no one pick up the phone. What I am looking for is someone to fix the beeping problem by telling me what to do on the phone or visit my house. But they NEVER did that. The first technician ask me to send him pictures, and I did. But he did not know to fix that old system. After a couple of days, he told me that he did not know how to fix the problem and ASK ME TO CALL THE OFFICE AGAIN FOR ANOTHER technician. Cool, I called the office again, and OMG, a lady hanged me up AGAIN! Lolllll I was so mad and I called again, a different lady picked up the phone. I explained my issue and she told me to wait and she will ask around and call me back. After 1-2 days, the second technician called me and showed me how to fix the issue. AND IT DID NOT WORK. His advice was useless, and I tried to text him and told him that his solution was never working. He never texts back...... I guess I need to call the office again, which is very painful. And I need to keep hearing the beep beep sound every day. I mean, I cannot even cancel their service since they never fix my system (If I cancel, they might never pick up my phone) I have subscribed to their service for 7 years, omg. Our Honeywell Home touch screen control went out last night, no lights showing at all even though power supply is connected in the closet to a good source of power. I called Republic Elite this morning, spoke to Ernie, he was very helpful over the phone like he was when I had issues with the Ring doorbell camera a couple of months ago but he mentioned unfortunately a tech will have to come out to investigate the touch screen panel and he was able to schedule me for same day appointment which is awesome! John was the tech that came out, very friendly, and was quickly able to diagnose and fixed the problem within 5 minutes, and he also gave me some some really good tips just in case if the issue happens again next time, thank you John. Every time I called Republic Elite , everyone on the phone has been very friendly and helpful like Kyleigh and Ernie just like our initial install tech Anthony. Devin was the tech that came out a month after our initial install to replace the Ring doorbell camera that stopped working, he was also very friendly and knowledgeable as well. We purchased a new home in Rancho Murieta, Riverview subdivision. The builder offered through Republic Elite a technology package when we purchased the home. One of the features was the installation of a Brilliant Switch. This is an amazing option for our new home, it can help us manage our lighting, supports dimming, voice control, motion detection, double tap-scene control, and supports multiway circuits. More importantly was our technician, Bryan M. He spent the time to help us install and understand the features of our Brilliant along with the features of our smart home we did not know we had :.) (entry door lock, thermostat, phone apps). Bryan was awesome...he took the time to explain and did not leave the appointment until everything was installed and in working order. His customer service was 5 out of 5 stars...I highly recommend Republic Elite and Bryan and will continue to call on Republic for our new home low voltage maintenance and up-grades. PROS: Devon the installer was a 5/5! Its the little things that count such as putting shoe covers on - he was even conscious about removing them whenever walking outside! He was patient explaining how the products work, knowledgeable about the products and very efficient setting the applications and hardware up. CONS: Regarding the company as a whole, having to wait a month for my appointment was ridiculous making my rating here 0/5! In addition, I was never informed or offered the ability to upgrade my network switch to support all the ports my camera system requires! This makes the network switch useless as i will have to purchase and install my own. I have been a customer for 3 years. My new build was installed with home alarm system so I never actually chose this company. Anyways, I feel pretty frustrated by their customer service and lack of upgrades. We live in a brand new community and our alarm system is beeping saying "low battery" I called the office and they checked our history and said batteries don't usually go out in 3 years and probably needs a hard re-set. - great! I was told I had to pay $125 for the technician to come out- why? Well the lady's explanation was "you are far"?!? What!!! Why would you work with homes that are far from your area? I will not be renewing my contact and I caution those considering their service. Customer service for me goes such a long way. At Republic Elite you will call them and sometimes you will get a call back or they will email you whenever they feel like it. Their alarm system is not spectacular and not high tech so no real reason to go with them. Look elsewhere. read more
