I needed a roof mounted antenna to get local HD channels for use with Plex TV (and an HDHomerun…read moretuner). I tried a couple different indoor antennas, but had poor reception (especially ABC). Nahem gave us a fair quote, and did a great job with the installation. Lots of communication during the process (different possibilities for where to mount the cable, where to run it into the house, etc.) The antenna is well mounted to the chimney, and the cable is neatly and tightly mounted under the eaves, and the point where it goes into the house is fully weather sealed. Nahem was able to dial in the positioning so that all stations have a strong signal (even ABC, which is notoriously difficult). I highly recommend Nahem/OTA Communications.

Research showed that our area of Sacramento (North Natomas) is capable of delivering a high number for channels through antenna with good quality signal and picture. Given this info, I then did some more research on what the best antenna for our needs would be, and how we could set ourselves up to record shows broadcast over air. After figuring out the antenna I wanted (Clearstream 2V) and the equipment we needed for recording shows (Tablo 4th Gen 4-Tuner), I then reached out to Nahem at OTA Communications to have everything installed. I am so glad I did! Nahem is the consummate professional- he came out as scheduled, explained exactly how the individual equipment would work, what he needed to do install everything, answered every question I had, and did an excellent job setting everything up. We now have 88 clear and crisp over-air channels (along with an additional 103 provided by the Tablo 4) and a dedicated resource (Naheem) who I feel I can call at any time with further questions or concerns. Premium level customer service, just a great guy who takes immense pride in his work. And now we've knocked 160.00 a month off our cable bill. Thanks Nahem!

The installation consisted of running 572 ft of CAT 6 cable. They installed 3 exterior cameras, 1 garage camera, and a video doorbell that cost me a grand total of $2.2K. Their sales representative, Mark, showed up at my house. He told me they could run the CAT 6 throughout my attic for the cameras and to my doorbell. After my consultation with Mark, I ordered all the security camera equipment to include a power over ethernet (POE) video doorbell. On the day of the installation, their installers said they couldn't run any cables in the attic because of the fire wall every home built has in our area. My home was built in 2009. I had to send the POE doorbell back in exchange for a WiFi one from Ubiquiti. Prem-Tech should send out sales reps who are knowledgeable and know what they are talking about so this doesn't happen again. Mark told me they can install security cameras from Ubiquiti. I had to correct Mark quite a few times. He tried to tell me I would need a cloud key when I didn't. Mark told me I would need 4 junction boxes for all the cameras. I needed 3 for the exterior cameras only. Then Mark tried to tell me they could run an HDMI cable to one of my tvs. I told him it's 2024, and Ubiquiti has a smart tv app. The worst part was Mark trying to tell me they could train me on my cameras for $150 an hour. You can watch a 10 minute YouTube video on setting up your Ubiquiti cameras. Not to mention, I hand selected my cameras and know more about them than Prem-Tech. The installation went well because I have not had any issues. My biggest complaints were five minor issues, one of which they have yet to fully resolve. 1. They didn't LEVEL the doorbell during the installation. The doorbell comes with a leveler in the packaging. Mark showed up at my house UNANNOUNCED just like another Yelp reviewer experienced with this company. Mark said, "The camera was acceptable and within tolerance." Yeah, to who? It's either LEVEL or NOT LEVEL. I told him that as a customer, I determine what's acceptable or not. Then Mark tried to lie. He said their installer used the bubble leveler that came with the doorbell. Mark later changed his story to the installer used his personal leveler. I stood Mark in front of my doorbell camera and placed 3 levelers on top of the doorbell. They ALL showed the doorbell as not being level to include the one that came with the doorbell. 2. They didn't insert the security screw into the doorbell. The doorbell camera has 2 anti theft measures. Why wasn't the screw installed? Cutting corners again, just like NOT leveling the doorbell. 3. Their installer put silicone on 2 of the 3 exterior camera bases. These cameras cost $1.5K. Mark tried to tell me I told the installers to do it because I wasn't going to buy junction boxes. He couldn't explain why there was NO silicone on the third camera at all if I told them to do it. If I wasn't going to use junction boxes, then why is there a picture below of my UNVR, POE Switch, cameras, and 3 black junction boxes. The picture is dated before my installation date. 4. I provided my own Belden outdoor/weatherproof CAT 6. I had told Mark I wanted black cable for the installation. His installers showed up with white CAT 6 cable. Luckily, I had my own spool of CAT 6. 5. Mark never responds to text messages in order to help fix my issues. He definitely reads them because I have the read receipts. Look at all the text messages with zero responses. I have tried to reach out to Prem-Tech in order to have issue #3 resolved with their accountant, Mr. Tim Sanford, and the owner, Mr. Michael Johnson. I have yet to hear anything from Mr. Johnson. Tim provided me with a new sales rep named Phil. I am waiting to hear from him so we can resolve issue #3.

For starters, this company is absolutely amazing to work with. We initially called for an appointment and just like so many of you we got Leo. He was very respectful, knowledgeable and straight to the point. We did a full walk through inside and out, then determined our needs for an alarm system. Our house came pre-wired so we did not need to purchase any additional equipment, which was to our surprise because we called a few other alarm companies and they all said we needed new wireless sensors. This was the deciding factor, Leo recognized that our existing hardwired system was adequate. We did end up adding a garage roll up sensor and a couple smoke detectors.Install day was a breeze. Bryce and Matt were on time and they got started quickly. We've added cameras to our orders so now we are fully protected. Bryce is also very knowledgeable and very accommodating. We have a young son who was taking his nap while they worked around the house. I truly appreciate a business that takes it to the next level with their work and customer service. Every person I've worked with in this company has been wonderful. These guys know their process and are completely attuned to customer service. Signing up with Leo was enjoyable and easy---he knows his business and made the process fun, even. And then wonderful Nick in the front office helped set expectations about alarm registration and other administrative stuff. When I moved from Roseville to Davis, Nick made a special effort to call the Sunday (Sunday!) before my move and set up a conference call with ADT customer service to make sure everything went smoothly. And Bryce just did exactly what was needed, plus a little more. On moving day, Bryce just uninstalled the equipment in my old place and drove it to my new place. He installed it without a hitch---no interruption in service. And all along the way, these guys were communicating with ADT corporate to make sure information was transferred as needed. He has different kinds of systems to choose from so i got the Pulse system because everyone I know has it too. I've been in Monterey for a long time, but I haven't had someone actually talk to me about the importance of an up to date security system.
