Our favorite lunch stop, period. Everything we've tried on the menu has been truly awesome. Our favorites are the beef dip (real sliced beef... not the processed stuff), the potato salad, all of the homemade soups, and of course their famous Mississippi Mud Pie! Hours of business are very short... 11A-2P M-F. (Not sure if they are open on wknds.) The staff are all very friendly and seem to be having lots of fun working together. Great environment. Customers begin flowing in the door right at 11A and they seem to go full tilt right thru to closing time 3-hrs later. I can not believe a sandwich could taste so good. The Tom Turkey is a must try....Grilled perfectly. The sweet tea is actually sweet tea. Most places don't know how to do sweet tea. Regina's has delicious sandwiches! You can definitely judge a sandwich place by their cole slaw. If they put a lot of effort into delicious cole slaw then everything else is usually pretty good. Regina's has some of the best cole slaw I've ever eaten. The Mary Ann (grilled cheese with bacon) was good. The bacon was slightly overcooked for my tastes but that is the only improve I have for the establishment. The peanut butter and jelly sandwich felt like it has about a jar of each on it. The sandwich is definitely worth the money. The atmosphere is good for families. My toddler son ran around after being cooped up in the car for a few hours and no one seemed to mind which was refreshing. read more

Found this place while starving and looking for somewhere that looked cleaned and had good Yelp reviews, being new to the town after moving from California. Regina's had very good reviews and the food looked and sounded yummy so I figured I'd give it a try. Very cute seating area outside and very nice inside but a bit too chilly inside. Once I was up at the cashier ordering my food the woman seemed to be rushing me, while waiting with an upset inpatient face. i sat outside and the wait was about 10 minutes and I saw the woman coming out, me assuming she was bringing the food. She scream my name and I said "right here" then she says "your food I ready!" um okay. you had the energy to scream my name but not the customer service to bring the food out? okay. I ordered the club. Sand which was delicious. The service bothered me and I won't be coming here again. read more

Gosh, this is probably my favorite restaurant in Mobile. I'm in college 3 hours away from home now, and this is the only restaurant I ever miss. This is my favorite spot for lunch, for dine in or take out. Love to splurge and get the Mississippi mud pie. Our fav is the muffuletta and the chicken salad croissant, amazing . The staff is warm and friendly. We love walking over and sitting outside with our puppies. I feel like I am there at least once a week between picking lunch up for work or grabbing a bite with friends. Sometimes they can't answer the phone cuz they are slammed; best solution is to walk in and place your order, run an errand then pick it up at the takeout window. Def worth the wait tho. read more

Hands down, the best salad I've found in Mobile. Great food, period. The midtown salad is so delicious, I could eat it every day. The biggest downfall, in my opinion, is that they're only open from 11-2, understandable for a soup, salad, sandwich place that caters to the lunch crowd, but sometimes, I crave one of their salads for dinner, and sadly, am unable to partake in its awesomeness. read more

I stopped by here for lunch on a Saturday after reading all the great reviews and left very satisfied. We got here around 1:30 and were able to order right away. The gentleman at the cash register was very friendly, and patient/helpful answering all of my friend's questions. I had the Schoel, which was a great compilation of turkey, bacon, and jalapeno cheddar. Unfortunately they were out of potato salad, so opted for the cole slaw as my side. Both the sandwich and the side were very good and you can tell that everything is homemade. I wish the jalapeno flavor was a bit spicier, but I also understand that not everyone enjoys spicy food like I do. My friend had the chicken salad sandwich, and they were accommodating in a special request of heating the sourdough bread with a slice of swiss cheese melted on top. For the two sandwiches and two iced teas, our bill was $23. The atmosphere is fairly low frills, but hey I came here for the food. Even though the cookies on the counter looked great, I didn't partake in any. Maybe next time, as I plan on coming back to try more options. read more

The food is good but the service is horrible!! When to walk in you have the cashier that is taking the orders. She looks at you like you stink if you are black. Not friendly at all. I'm not sure if Regina is aware of her attitude towards certain customers. I'm not sure if I would recommend this place or not. This is America get use to diversity people!! My sister was in from California, and I have been dying to try this place. So we popped in for lunch. When you walk in the decor is very country, with the walls covered in antiques and decor. I thought it was really cute, and quaint . We walked up to the counter, and the gentlemen was so nice. He went over the entire menu with us, and we ended up going with their Turkey sandwich, and New Orleans Moffalata (spelling?) and you get to pick one side with each sandwich. I ordered the Corn and Potato Soup. The food was absolutely fantastic, and quickly became my new go-to lunch spot in Mobile! Not only was the food great, but this place really is Southern Hospitality at its finest. The man behind the counter was so friendly, and came out and asked if we like everything twice. He even came out and gave us a free piece of mud pie to take home for free!! This is one local business I will definitely get behind!! There is indoor/outdoor seating options.
