Ya'll this is the best Muffulatta and Ruben we ever had! Time to sleep! The meat is high quality and the portions are huge. It's a no frills kind of place but that makes the experience even better. Take my advice- just get the quarter Muffulatta- that's all you need. Unless your really hungry your taking the other half home with you. This is a great place to share a meal- trust me. I'd give it a 10 star if that was a thing.

Hands down, best sandwich place in Mobile. Friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back

I found this place while traveling through Mobile. When we pulled off the exit and began following the GPS instructions, we were not sure we were in the right place. It is in the middle of an industrial area (which is genius by the way!) but had us 2nd guessing. The we rounded the corner and you can't miss it. We went on a holiday about 30 minutes before they closed and missed all the crowds. As we looked over the menu Regina's husband offered a few suggestions, and I have to say, he didn't steer us wrong! We had a grilled cheese, tuna melt (special), and the chicken salad blt on toasted sourdough because in his words "the toasted sourdough is just a better vehicle for the chicken salad" . I also had fresh fruit as a side, and even in January it was delicious! I'm positive this will be a stop on our next trip through.

Yum! Regina's is a solid lunch option! As a Mobilian transplant, Regina's was all the rage for lunch hype, and I'm pleased to report that I can agree! I wasn't too enthused with my side (a beans and rice deal-meh) as much, but I truly enjoyed the turkey sandwich special. Flavors were on point! The service was fast and friendly, and the restaurant itself is quaint with a southern flair. All in all, I'd add it to the rotation if I were you.

I love Regina's! Just moved back to the area and was worried when I saw they'd shuttered up the old Gov't location but found out they were opened up at a new location near the downtown airport and was very pleased! The quality is just as good as ever!! This is my favorite lunch spot in Mobile.

Same wonderful restaurant but in a new location at Brookley Field on 15th Street. I had lunch with a friend and we split the Tom Turkey sandwich so we could enjoy a whole piece each of the decadent Mississippi Mud cake. Great customer service!!

By far the best sandwich in town! You know a place is good when it is only open three hours a day, and stays slammed pack the whole time! Just took a few out of towners there and they were thoroughly impressed. Personal recommendations: The Schoel, The Nellie or The Tom Turkey. If you are looking for a quick bite and in the midtown/downtown area, Regina's Kitchen is the place to be! read more

Love this place. As someone else pointed out, no this isn't a. "5-star restaurant", but it gets a 5-star review for its category. Amazing sandwiches. I haven't had one I didn't like. Muffuletta is my fav. And the people are friendly. Get there before the lunch rush because it will take a while to get your food. read more

I can not believe I found this gem. It is not in the best area but everything I have had was awesome. You can tell they make all of there own sauces, dressing, everything. It is all very fresh and they are only open for lunch. But good news is you can buy many of there items in pints to take home with you. read more

Just go. Seriously. The prices and food are both awesome. I highly recommend the Schoel. The jalepeno cheddar... SO GOOD. The service is also excellent and the owners really take pride in customer satisfaction. The one and only downside is that they're only open for lunch. Don't be detracted by long lines -- they're always busy and it moves super fast. We frequently will call our order in and pay for it over the phone to just go grab it as well. Like I said, just go. You'll be glad you did. read more

Out of towner that stopped in on my way to New Orleans. Cutesy kitschy decor, you place your order with the cashier and pick up it up down the counter. Gumbo was surprisingly bland. The roast beef and jalepeno cheddar sandwich was delightful. Cashier wasn't particularly friendly, but that's ok -- they were busy. I did expect a little bit more after spending almost 15 dollars for a sandwich, soup, and drink. Tackiest part of the decor, in my opinion: the Trump sign behind the register, so just an FYI if you're the type to boycott/support businesses based on their politics. (Not particularly shocking in this part of the country, but still.) read more

Obviously Regina's is a crowd favorite. I will say though that the sandwiches are the way to go vs the salad's. Regina's was the first place we went to when we moved to Mobile and I'm pretty sure we had it for lunch 3 more times that week. I don't know how they do it, but they are experts when it comes to making unique and tasty sandwhiches. The atmosphere is entertaining as well. read more

Food is great! Favorite is Tom Turkey and must try the Mississippi Mud! The restaurant can be a little noisy so if you are meeting someone to have a private and quiet conversation I would suggest sitting outside or taking the food to go. The dining area also has limited seating and it does get a little busy during the lunch hour. They do have a to-go window if you call in order ahead of time. I would also recommend any of their salads...they are huge and loaded with lots of extras! All of the meats and cheeses are premium. Only downside is they are only open for lunch and not dinner! read more

My husband and I stopped in as recommend by Yelp for lunch during a road trip. We were not disappointed ! Fresh, friendly , awesome, delicious , I could go on and on. We ordered Roasted Red Pepper Bisque, which was perfectly served. Next the Tom Turkey sandwich and mix of turkey cheese honey mustard, grilled perfectly. We also had awesome potato salad. So delicious. For dessert we enjoyed a chocolate brownie with marshmallow yummy-ness ! The restaurant has a comfy, homey feel and it set the stage for a feel good meal.Owners on sight and along with their staff we felt like family. I wish I could have lunch here daily......don't miss this one! read more

I've eaten here several times. Never had a bad meal, but Monday, the cream of artichoke soup was amazing! I wish I'd gotten a bowl instead of a cup!! The salads are always fresh and delicious. One thing though, (and it is not a fault), I wish they would re-publish the monthly specials list. If I could get one faxed to my office, it would save several of us a lot of fretting over lunch. We were visiting in the area and took a chance on this place as we were just driving around trying to find a lunch spot (that had a lot of cars out front!). Great place! Very fresh food and delicious sandwiches. Tons of various locals in here (the real test!). Efficient, if not utterly friendly, women at the order counter. The guy cleaning the tables and floor smiled and said "thanks" as we left. Just a great vibe here! read more

First time been here. Looked great on Yelp. Outside seating looked real cute. Walked in right before the lunch locals crowd in. A lot to choose from on the menu. All the sandwiches looked delicious. After I order the Tom Turkey sandwich I saw some salads that looked amazing!! Next time I'll get the salad! The sandwich and pasta salad was excellent. The disappointment came when she asked what I wanted to drink. I said I'd like a coffee she asked the woman next to her if there was coffee made the woman said no. That was it haha! No! Then she said ...we have tea! Lol so we sat outside a few minutes later the same woman poked her head out the door and screamed my name. She said your food is ready! Umm so who comes out to yell your name but don't have your food in the hand? I'm noticing as a brand new transplant from California, Mobile's customer service at establishments is wretched! This was no exception. The only way I walked away satisfied was because of the pleasant bus boy. He was a kind black man and once I told him I was hoping for coffee he made certain to make some. I LOVE this place. Chicken salad sandwich on a croissant (aka "the loop") and a Jones zero-calorie black cherry soda, please. So good!!! Lines can be long at lunch... I like to call ahead and pick up for take out, but sitting inside is cool. There is neat, random historic art/children's drawings all over the walls... Little family owned and run sandwich shop!!! Regina's is by far my favorite place to go for lunch. I love this little place. The Haas is my favorite, turkey plied high with cole slaw, provolone, honey mustard and butter pressed bread! The Schoel is also a really great sandwich with turkey and homemade jalapeño cheddar. History

Established in 2010.

AUGUST 16, 2019 We are MOVING to a new location RE-OPENING Monday September 9TH (OR 16TH) Hello all, we are relocating to the Brookley Aeroplex to better serve the growing hub of industries that now call Mobile home and the travellers arriving to our city via the shiny, new Downtown Airport. The good news: For our downtown patrons, we are actually closer and quicker to get to. From Broad Street, we're only an eight minute drive with two traffic lights. For our west of I-65 patrons, we may not be closer, but driving to the Michigan Ave Exit on I-10 is faster than driving down Airport Blvd. For our twice-a-year to drive thru town patrons, easy-button, right off I-10. For our Midtown patrons, well, it's worth the drive to get a Schoel and watch A320s fly around in circles. The bad news: No bad news, it's all good. We'll keep everybody posted, but not on Facebook. Look forward to seeing everyone soon.

The place doesn't speak to a lot when you walk in but my oh my the flavors were popping! The two men behind the counter exhibited great customer service and the recommendations were on point. The curry lentil soup was delectable and the recommendation to add hot sauce to elevate the flavors was spot on!! Quality, flavors and portions sizes are all in line with the price point.

QUITE LITERALLY, this was the BEST sandwich I have had in a long time. If I could give more than five stars I would.
