2x New Zealand Sunny Slopes, jasmine green milk tea and mango smoothie (delicious drinks, bad hard/dense boba)
Deb H.

I hadn't been here in a while but my review is the same as before: --5 stars for excellent drinks! The teas and juices are loaded with flavor and sooooo delicious. I got their mango smoothie for the first time and it was bursting with flavor and tasted literally like I was drinking a perfectly ripe mango in slushie form --2 stars for their boba - it is always dense and hard like little marbles. I think I should just stop ordering drinks with boba so then I can just enjoy the deliciousness of the drink without any detractors. I wish they'd get some better or fresher boba since then this would be the best drink shop ever!

Located next to Mokkoji, Starbucks, and Pho Hanoi and Sourdough and Co. in the Kohls and Albertsons plaza, this boba and tea spot is quite nice. I don't live close, but I always stop in for a dessert drink after Mokkoji! This location has been around for years and their customized drinks are made to perfection. The rose garden drink and the mango smoothie are two of my favorites, and I love adding lychee bits. There is a restroom inside (get the code from the employees) and it's cozy and cute inside. The service is fast and the drinks are good.

This place was a nice surprise. With the over 100 degree weather, I bribed the kids with a cool drink. Everything here looked good and the atmosphere was really cute. It's a tucked in location so you almost don't see it but it's there! We ended up getting the bingsoo and man did that not disappoint! It was so good and my kids and I were happy! Overall it was a great experience and we would definitely come back to try out there drinks! The staff were also very friendly and kind!

Took the family to try the mango binsoo at Redstraw for dessert post dinner and got one to share between us. The spot is clean and has plenty of seating for families to enjoy together. The dessert was presented with plenty of mangos on top but I did think that the ice portion could have been a little more flavorful. I felt like some of my bites just tasted like ice chunks and was pretty pricey for what you got considering most of the dessert was just ice (about $10-11).

Redstraw is my go-to for Strawberry Matcha Lattes and now for their Strawberry Bingsu. Hubby and I were in the area and I wanted to bring him to where I go to get some yummy drinks. THE MOOD: Redstraw has a very modern, open, and bright ambiance when you walk in. There's seating along the walls and also even more seating outside. With the windows, the interior feels very bright and inviting. There's also usually plenty of parking when I go. THE FOOD: I usually get the Strawberry Matcha Latte and I like that the sweetness is very balanced in this drink. I also really enjoy the bits of strawberry that you get with each sip and the matcha is not overpowering. We also recently got the Strawberry Bingsu and unfortunately for hubs, I think he only got a few bites in before I absolutely demolished this glorious cup of goodness. Oops! :) Their bingsu consistency was light, refreshing, and just the perfect amount of iciness and the strawberry was so sweet and ripe. Just so refreshing! THE 'TUDE: Service here is good every time that I've been! OVERALL: I'll definitely be back again to get their Strawberry Bingsu and of course my Strawberry Matcha Latte.

What a cute little tea shop in Irvine! We stopped by on Monday night after dinner, and as expected, it wasn't busy, so our drinks came out in just a few minutes. The décor is really pretty -- definitely a great spot for photos. As for the drinks, there were so many tempting options that it was hard to choose! We ended up with a taro smoothie with extra honey boba (an extra $1 -- ouch!) and a peach Bellini. Both were okay -- not amazing, not bad, just average in our opinion. The service, however, was great! The staff was friendly and welcoming. We wouldn't mind coming back again next time we're in the Cypress Village plaza.

Drink are great but I really came here cuz it's so bright and quiet. Nice place to chill and decompress I came around Thursday 3pm and there's no one here. So my drinks came fast Wish there were tables to put laptop here. The decor is more for ppl to drink and go. I would come more if I can work here

A decent spot for boba with a wide variety of drink options. There's a decent amount of parking available outside and this location has both indoor and outdoor seating available. The indoor seating is all small 2-top tables, so the capacity of the store is not that large. The menu is fairly extensive with all of the drinks that you typically see at a boba shop but it also has a very large variety of creative drinks and flavors. I didn't see it explicitly written out on the menu, but they do have customizations for alternative milks as well. There's nothing outstanding about the service, it's very minimal but very quick. The drinks have good flavor and the boba that was added on for my drink was cooked well. The tea flavor wasn't very strong, but could still be tasted. There are still a lot of drink combinations that I'd like to try so I would definitely go back to try more of their drinks.

My favorite boba place ever!! Their tea is perfect, with the right amount of sweetness. I don't order a lot of the milk teas but I have tried the taro and it's DELICIOUS! Try their Peach Bellini, Rose Garden, and Mango Bingsoo to change your life.

We went here on a Saturday and ordered two drinks. This place is conveniently located next to Mokkoji hot pot and other yummy restaurants located in the Albertsons center. There is also a Starbucks next door. We had the Thai tea with almond milk and boba (for an additional $1) and the Toxic Garden. Both drinks were at 100% sweetness. The drinks here are a value for the size (24 oz), and these are quality drinks. The Thai tea, surprisingly was not overly sweet. The boba was good and fresh. The Toxic Garden (strange name if you ask me) is a combination of green juice consisting of kale, celery, and cucumber mixed with jade tea. It was a tad sweet, but tasted better after the ice melted some. Customer service was good and the cashier was nice. The inside is cute with some seating although most people took their drinks to go when we came. The line was long, but they were efficient so it took only about 5 minutes for the drinks to come out. Stay thirsty!

Wow, my taste buds are dancing with joy from all the sweetness! I couldn't be happier with my choice, and I'm ready to conquer work--and maybe even the world! The vibe here is fantastic, super clean, and they've got great wifi . I'm absolutely thrilled to have discovered this gem on my way back. I'll definitely be returning because the service was lightning-fast!

Island Glow X 2

Redstraw features a menu of refreshing beverages including milk teas, black teas, green teas, oolong teas, chai teas, herbal teas, coffee and smoothies. Best part is they come up with their own creations from time to time such as the "Island Glow" - a sweet and refreshing blend of mango, creamy coconut slush, sago, and grapefruit. Service has always been friendly and efficient when I've visited. The competition among tea shops in Irvine is stiff, but Redstraw may prove to be one of the mainstays.

Strawberry bingsoo

Went there on a super hot Saturday in Orange County so I decided on the strawberry bingsoo. The texture was great. It's a creamy yet icy consistency with the perfect level of sweetness. It's not super sweet, but just right. It was so refreshing. My wife got a strawberry matcha tea and that was pretty good as well. I don't care for matcha drinks, but it was pretty good. This was the first time I've been to Redstraw, but I'll definitely be back!

Theres a lot of space to get work done too! The baristas were very quick with our relatively large order. The best ones we drank were the banana, strawberry, and corn matcha and the salted vietnamese coffee. The pistachio matcha fell a little short on flavor but still worth it and good!

I ordered from the seasonal menu and got the misugaru earl grey matcha latte. My order was ready right as I got there. The drink was delicious. I'm not sure how the misugaru earl grey is supposed to taste - if is suppose to be strong or subtle but I didn't really taste much of it. I definitely got the taste of matcha and black sesame. I liked the foam and how it was topped with black sesame seeds. This place has such a cute ambiance with the Halloween decor. And it looks like a chill place to hang out with friends and chat and enjoy your drinks it even study. I will definitely be back and trying more of the drinks!
