I've had Redeemer a few times now (delivery) and it's always hit the spot. I've had sourdough pizza before and always found it to be too bitter, but they seem to have a good ratio because their dough def has a slight tang, but it pairs nicely with the other ingredients. Dough is a little thicker than a traditional pie, but has a good chew and I especially like the lace draped cheese blanketing the crust. Their knots are also super tasty. I love Dio Mio, so I was excited to try their sister restaurant and see how they do pizza. I like that they serve slices. One slice was a generous lunch. The pizza was good! I've heard a lot about Redeemer and was excited to finally try it out. Overall, I thought it was just ok. Not the best, but also not the worst pizza I've had in Denver. I don't think I would rush to order from them again, but if I was out in Rino hungry and wanting a slice, why not. The garlic knots aren't your traditional knot, and were a little too dense for my liking. However, the pizza was worth it for the price, it did take a lot longer than expected since we only order 1 slice of the sicilian. The pepperoni was a bit burnt but the sauce and cheese was great! An extra minute in the oven would give a crispier exterior and personally that'd bring it from an 8 to a 10. But truly, that's me nitpicking and it ain't my business after all! But hold up. They have some INSANE garlic knots. Now here's another thing people will freak out about. However, authenticity doesn't mean anything, FLAVOR means everything. These don't look like the traditional garlic knots of yesteryear. The cheese is on the inside, the knots resemble a rice ball aesthetically, and the dipping sauce is hot honey. FTW, how high were they when they created these? These are 10/10 in my oh so humble opinion. These cats are popular. During the few times I've been here, I've missed out on a few of their daily slices. And dammit, the daily slices sound SO good. While this pizza spot has a dine in area right off Larimer Street, it's the sign to go around back that caught my attention when walking through the area. Located in the alleyway, the signage and graffiti immediately drew my attention, and I had to find out more about these slices around back. It was a cool little spot that felt secluded off from the busyness on the streets, with happy hour prices and daily slice specials. I made it this far being intrigued so I grabbed one of each- the NY Style and Sicilian and wow, they were great! Paired the best with an ice cold beer, this definitely makes me wanna go again and sit in the front dining space (but also to eat back here) and try so much more of what Redeemer Pizza has to offer. First time expression was a high 5 stars, it was a whole vibe in the back and pizza was great. Had a great experience at Redeemer - it is definitely a top pizza spot in Denver! Came here for national pizza day and was not disappointed. They had a special for a $10 cheese pizza. We also ordered garlic knots. The garlic knots were good, and definitely different. They are a fried ball filled with cheese, which is different than the twisted dough covered in butter/garlic. I liked them, but would probably skip next time and maybe get an extra / specialty slice of pizza. The pizza was great - definitely the best I have had in Denver so far. Crust was perfect, light and crisp. Sauce and cheese were great. My one gripe would be that it seemed a little overcooked - the cheese started to get hard/crisp in some spots or the crust bubbled up, and those bites didn't have as much flavor or sauce in them. You can see them as darker spots / looks like crust bubbles in the pictures. It was still excellent though. Overall this is a great spot and I will definitely be returning and recommending to others. Just tried Redeemer for the first time and for New York style pizza this is our new favorite spot. We ordered the standard and the garlic knots. The following is our thoughts: 1) Garlic Knots: to die for IF they are cooked. Think fried bread ball the size of your palm with melted ball of mozz on the inside. My partner grabbed the perfect bite, but for me when I bit into it I straight up ate dough- just gooey dough.
