I love this place. They do the best job out of the MANY places I tried before finding them. I've lived all over the US and Red Nail does the cleanest, most consistent, beautiful, and long lasting job out of anywhere I've been. Besides that, they're friendly and professional. They have a great vibe. I get the gels and they last very well. They are unbreakable as far as I can tell. I'm a bartender and have yet to break a nail after having them done here. My girlfriend and I got pedicures there yesterday and they were AMAZING! They took their time and did a great job. ZERO STARS! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THIS IS WHAT I GET FOR IGNORING THE WORD OF MOUTH... I wish I could give no stars. This man is extremely rude and does not deserve to be in business. Originally, I went on Wednesday to have my nails repainted. After he took my nail polish off. He said I can't use my card and its best to cut them down and best to switch to Gel. Unable to return that same day after leaving to get cash...I went back 2 days later. I went back [trying to honor a comittment] and asked for the gel that HE reccomended... ABLE & WILLING financially and timewise. I just wanted my nails painted. I could tell from the way the other lady looked at me they she did not want to service me. I selected my color, and ASKED if they still needed to cut or shave them down. He rudely replied, "NO, I told you I'd charge you extra to cut down." [He never did] So I asked if everything was okay. And told him its fine if he was going to charge I just wanted to know the cost. I never needed them cut down, I never needed gel, he was trying to get more money out of me by being a liar. This should not have been an argument! I left with tears in my eyes hurt. Feeling like my money wasn't the same as the two other ladies being serviced. Horrible owner. His worker confirmed she can do my nails as I had them before - clear nail and sparkles on a tip. She refilled acrylic with a new powder, but refused listening to me that I had different powder color before. Finally after applied powder you could clearly see edge of old nail under clear refill. Looked ugly. Worker started adding more and more to agreed in the beggining price trying to fix what she did wrong. No luck, it didn't work. Owner coming out and angrily asking me What's going on. I explained him patiently. He yelled at me 20 min while trying to fix it. Super angry and rude guy. My patience has a limit. I was enduring his horrible yelling in hope he will really fix it. He didn't. He called me picky and yelled that I have to go to other place next time. I couldn't do it anymore. I went in for a gel mani and walked out with a color changed. I am thoroughly disappointed and I tried expressing before I left the salon and I am sad to say I will not be returning after years of making this my nail salon. I did not receive the lotion or the cuticle oil and was still charged for a full manicure I requested all matte, however the design on my nail was not done in matte so the finish looks off. I am paying for service and I don't like confrontation but when I point something out and ask for it to be fixed I don't expect to have attitude and things said underneath the breath. I truly hate that I paid full price for service that was not provided, when I came in I didn't have any gel And they applied the Polish the design and that was it. To me that is a polish change that is not a full price manicure gel set. I have read good and bad reviews and unfortunately until today never had an issue but today's incident of having to overpay first service that was not provided is not customer service. Loved this place, I was desperate to find a nail salon being that I was just arriving from Phoenix and everything was full in the area. I started driving around and remembered that there was a plaza down from Viscount Suites and came across this nail salon, which didn't disappoint. They use the best gel in my opinion. I am not rough on my hands however I have gotten my nails done by someone different every time and the gel almost always last two weeks. I do not like that I go to get my nails done and relax and they have a pretty obnoxious child old enough to know how to maintain an inside voice running around and shooting dart guns. I went in for a removal and manicure. I will say this is the first time I have paid for a removal and did not know what to expect, basically was the same thing I could have done at home, just ripping them off by wedging something underneath. I was left with lots of residue and nasty looking nails. I then asked for a manicure which was rushed and incomplete. I did not get the full manicure experience as the massage and other parts of the experience was left out. I was still charged the full amount. During this process I watched the nail tech use the same instruments that had just been used on me instantly on someone else without any sanitation in between. Overall I paid 20 dollars for the removal and manicure. My step mother was also unhappy with her fill as she had been charged for a full set, and had 6 layers of polish put on causing a thick bubble look. As we were leaving another woman was complaining about the time it took for them to work on her she had been there for 2 hours and only had a pedicure finished. Overall it was a cheap price but I know other places that cost the same and do a far superior job. I would suggest One Stop Nails on speedway and Wilmot, it's seven minutes away and they are always busy but get to everyone and have great customer service. read more

**I promise you will want to read this whole review** I came to this salon the first time because of the amazing rating on google. They did an excellent job aside from a few things but I am just super picky about things. The second time I came in I wanted a gel change. I had JUST gotten a manicure from another salon the previous week but the tips of my French tip manicure was turning brown and the salon refused to fix it. I told the woman I wanted a gel change and she said "oh sure, what color you want?" I look and look and look. She kept pushing me to a color I didn't want nor the palate I was even looking at. "You choose this one! It brand new." She said. I kept saying no. I don't want any of those colors. Thank you. As time goes by she starts to give me a manicure I kept saying to her no. I just want my gel color changed. I finally picked a color and she puts it on and it looked great. Then comes clear coat. BUBBLES! There were bubbles on almost every nail. So I say there are bubbles she looks and she says "no there are no bubbles." I say YES! There is bubbles. Please fix them. She gets a down right rude about having to fix the nails. Well she didn't fix them and I was tired of arguing with her about it. She yelled at me and said I was too picky. Then She starts to put lotion on my arm and once again I told her I want a gel change and someone says something to her and she says oh we have to charge 35$ I was livid. Not only did I not like my nails she charged me for a freaking manicure. I was just over and done with this salon. So a day goes by and I still hate my nails I still hate the fact I paid 35$ for a crappy service so I decided I wanted my money back. So I got back to the salon the owner says what is wrong with your nails? I said there are bubbles. He said "I see no bubbles!" And I said I don't care if you don't see them I do and they are my nails and I want my money back. He refuses. He said no I fix them. I said no I don't want them fixed I want my money back please. He still refused. He wanted to fix them there and now and I said I don't have time to get them fixed. I just want my money back. Again he refused and I was forced to come back to the salon to get my nails fixed. One would think oh! He fixed them all is well. Yeah not even close. I'm back at the salon and the guy has me sit down and he is talking to me like I am a child. He wraps the fingers and lets them soak for a while comes back and starts the replacement process by scraping my nails and it hurt. He asked what color I had and I told him. He starts talking to me and says "there nothing wrong with your nails. There are no bubbles. This time I fix for free. Next time I don't. You too picky." I just sat there and said nothing. Then he went for the power tool. First of all ladies NEVER EVER EVER let a nail technician use this power tool ON your real nails. It causes them to be filed too much and will ruin your natural nail due to the fact that it takes the nail bed away. This guy grounded down my nails until they started to burn. I quickly jerked my hand away and he said "it okay. It don't hurt." Yes it did hurt hence why I jerked my hand away. He then started to chastise me and degrade me. We haven't even gotten to the color yet nor the first coat. I was humiliated, degraded, and devalued as a paying customer. and to top it all off I shouldn't be able to bend my nails with the gel. I wasn't able to before and now I can. He ruined my nails after I was trying so hard to grow them out. I will never ever come back here again. read more

I would give this place ZERO stars BUT the YOUNG guy who did my pedicure was good. So I went in for a full set and pedicure, and they did my pedicure first, and I was happy so no complaints there. When it was time for my fullset, I told the nail tech I wanted longer nails and he kept trimming them down. I told him again I wanted them longer and he got an attitude and started arguing with me saying "theyre too long" I AM PAYING FOR THE SERVICE AND I WANT THEM DONE HOW I WANT THEM DONE. He told me to get out of his "store" because I was upset that he wasnt giving me the length I wanted & was willing to pay for. Excellent nail salon. I've been here twice and they provide great quality service. They speak good English. The young woman who did my gel French manicure has lasted 2 weeks and looks great. No chipping or peeling. I wish I didn't have to take it off. As I try and do my own gel manicures in between to save a little money, she provided lots of tips and directed me to a nail supply store in the same complex. They even provided a walk in who just wanted to take her polish off herself with a cotton ball of acetone. She left no tip to the nail tech which I thought was rood. This is my first pedicure in Tucson coming from Omaha, Ne. The staff communicates very well in english! My nail tech paid very close attention to detail. He was a little rough with the tools but never injured me. The one time I asked him to cut shorter he had no problem. Overall I think this was an average pedicure lasting about a half hour. I used to go to Campbell Spa Nails but I am warming up to this place more and more. Here's why: -Friendlier employees -Services are taken at a nicer pace -The place is not always super packed like at Campbell's -Shellac lasts just as long HUGE plus: -In the same shopping plaza as Crave (i.e. best coffee ever!) The shellac is $2 more than Campbell and they don't have as many colors. However, the good outweighs the bad and my next Shellac will be here, rather than at Campbell Spa Nails. read more

The women are friendly which I try to request because the young man that works there seems a bit rough and has caused my big toes to bleed. He'll ask if it hurts after I jerk, and I told him , it hurts me not you! He never apologized , just continued to dig at my cuticles. I'm not a complainer so I still tipped him. I recently went to Red Nail and got a gel manicure and a pedicure. I was a little disappointed that the gel manicure began to lift after a couple of days. It was my first gel manicure, so I read up on Google that the manicure should stay intact for at least two weeks--unless the manicure isn't done properly. And, I wasn't doing anything that would rough up my manicure. The employees are very nice. The pedicure was ok. I probably won't go back. I never get my nails done because of the price and in my line of work they just don't last. But my gel manicure last every time and always looks fabulous. I've been to two different nail techs, Thai and Mimi, and both are absolutely terrific. They're both quick and focused on detail. Horrible, horrible service. I brought my girlfriend to that nail shop for the 1st time. I told her they were kind professional people, as I've been there before. This woman named "My land thi pham" did my nails. She was watching TV on her phone as she was doing my nails the whole time. I asked her if one of my nails looked crooked, as she was applying a full set. She replied "No, your finger is" and kept doing my nails. She nicked me on top of insulting me and she charged me 40$ for a full set. She was rude, unprofessional and had a sense of entitlement. I came for a fill and the experience was not great. I had broke my acrylic and nail underneath so I just let them know that way they could not be as rough. I was told they would charge $5 to repair the nail. But they didn't repair it. They just filled my nails. When I asked what was going to be done about the broken nail they just told me "you need to be more careful". They left the break in the nail. The application of the nail polish was streaky and incomplete and chunks of acrylic we're left under my nail and I was still charged extra for the "fix". The young girl who did my nails was really nice. Even so she would randomly stop to watch TV for a minute or two. My nails ended up a bit uneven. I don't normally go there. This used to be my nail spot years ago but I only got my nails done by Tommy. This is my first time back in five yrs and my ring finger nail is much thicker than the rest and very different from the other hand. I know nails will never be perfect but when the imperfections are really noticeable it can be obnoxious!! Even with how sweet she was I won't be going back. I had a terrible experience here. I don't know his name, but it was a male and probably the owner of the nail salon. Firstly, he continued to complain about the design I wanted on my nails. That it was "too hard" and "not possible on my gel nails" whatever that means. I know it was because he was just to lazy to do the design I wanted. Then he did what HE wanted on my nails!!! He said "trust me, you'll like it" I had a deep red color on all nails and then white on the ring finger. He drew a NEON pink heart on the white nail with gray stripes?! Like are you color blind?! It looked awful. I was extremely upset considering I was there for hours. I tried telling him I didn't like it many times and I don't know if he didn't understand me or just didn't care. i started goin to this nail shop about 6 years ago. in the beginning i was impressed with how clean and neat it was. everyone has always been friendly. everyone except the husband. he is rude, impolite and seems to cater only to particular clients. i once requested one of their nail techs and he snapped at me that "everyone was good and I shouldn't ask for anyone specific." i stopped going. now here it is 2018 my nail place is closed so i give them another try. low and behold the husband was still rude. the place wasnt as neat as i remember. the wife of course was friendly but it was very hard to relax with a baby crying and other small children running around. my nails were done good but the work of red nail is usually great! so to say good is horrible for them. this used to be a great, professional, clean, highly skilled nail shop but it's changed alot from my first time. and the owner is gets more and more impolite everytime i visit. i wont be returning back after this time. read more
