Service is quick and friendly! Kevin always does an amazing job, fast and efficient. The energy is great, very welcoming.

Friendly staff! I was able to make a pedicure appointment the day of. They don't overbook so it feels comfortable when it's your turn. The deluxe pedicure felt so nice with hot towels, hot stones and body scrub especially considering that we live in such a cold climate for 6-months out of the year in Minnesota! My sister got the gel dip manicure and it went really fast and was applied with such gentle care. Stop in if you can! Great service and wonderful nail technicians!

I haven't been here in over 10 years because I was using another salon. After my previous one closed, I came back here and had an amazing pedicure. Service was excellent, pedicure was really well done (I have ugly feet from sports and cleats) and I was able to walk in. This may be my new place!!!!

I was able to get right in when I walked in. They had me sign in on a log at the front. They had plenty of colors to choose from. The place appeared to be clean and did not smell. I got a gel manicure for $40 and the massage at the end was so lovely. I love the job that was done. Completely satisfied. The only complaint would be $40 seems high for gel manicure.

They fixed 2 of my cracked nails to match my natural nails! Also, I hated the color I chose, & they toned it down to a perfect sunset color!

I've been to nail salons all over the Twin Cities, and will only come back to Red Nails! The new staff is wonderful, the salon is clean, and they do great work! Their prices are also fair, especially considering the quality of their services!

Fell off 1 week in

Horrible .. THIS IS THE 3rd Time they have horribly messed up. Gel nails lasted 1 week. the last time I went the nails were way too thick. she then charged me for a full set cause she cut my own nails down to nothing. Save your money go else where. RUDE MONEY HUNGRY THIEVES.

I just wanted to recommend Red Nails in the Highland park village and thank them for friendly and amazing service today. I had a pedicure that included a wonderful hot stone massage and a dip manicure. I brought in a photo of a natural pink color I liked, and Queen, the lovely owner, mixed two color dips to recreate the natural look I was hoping for. She took my dry, Minnesota winter hands and feet and made them feel and look terrific again. This was actually my first dip manicure, and it is super durable which is key for someone who never gets manicures because I destroy them before I get home. They also do free parafin wax hand treatment when you do a mani and pedi! Their business looked a bit slow, so I wanted to make sure we support this wonderful small business in our neighborhood and keep them open-

Beautifully manicured nails.

Absolutely fabulous! As a nurse with over 30 years of experience I was concerned about the compliance regarding Covid 19. Red Nails Salon answered all my questions regarding my concerns about Covid. All of the staffwere wearing masks gowns and head covers. Very strict sanitation enforced. I was also in a hurry so one person did my nails while the other did my feet. I felt like a princess.

This is 6 days post manicure.

I've been going to this salon for about 6 months. Pretty convinced that Kimmy is the one and only that can do a decent dip manicure. Unfortunately, she was out last week (yay she got a day off!). Queeny the owner and one of the only 3 in the entire salon that know how to do dip. My cuticles a week later still are painful if I put my hand in my purse, or have anything come near them. She used the drill to cut my cuticles as well as using the cuticle cutter, and when I bled, she applied acetone. Everyone on of my fingers hurt, most bled around the nail-bed and underneath. If you go- if you want Dip- Kimmy is the ONLY one to trust. The salon DOES have a very nice selection of colors, and invested a ton that match both gel and dip.

Dip nails

Always happy with my manicures and pedicures at Red Nails. They've added a few more nail artists so there's never waiting. Love the many pedicure choices they have and they're awesome at what they do!

I think they should have a better rating because my experience was great. I called around 245 asking if I could get an appt for 330, yes no problem. There is only street parking.. worth mentioning. Walk in, I'm greeted, told to wash my hands and check in. I do that and I'm sat immediately. My lady that did my pedicure was so sweet and so efficient and thorough, my feet felt amazing afterwards and I got a classic thin French and she killed it. Oh, you pre pay too.. so there are a few minutes in the beginning where they are trying to figure out exactly what you are getting so they can charge you.. thats fine. Then I got my fill. I got Tuyet, she was so friendly and sweet and did an amazing job on my nails. I left the salon very happy! I will now be a regular there. It is very clean and organized in there.. no complaints at all. They also provide all waxing services and 60 or 90 minute head services. The prices are comparable on everything. Loved it here!

She was really fun, and clearly running a solid business because within five minutes of me coming in they were starting to stack up with walk in appointments. I mentioned I had about an hour before I had to get back to work and Lena was so considerate about making sure to not go over, so I'd not miss work at all. She checked in with customers who were waiting for treatments and continuously answered calls as she worked. This woman does like five jobs at once. For people who aren't fans of the vibe: this is an independent AAPI owned business. Maybe we can be cool with not every store culture and owner fitting our cookie cutter view of Minnesota. Personally I love that Lena runs this spot her own way with her own attitude in the middle of a pretty white neighborhood, and she's killing it! Oh and duh: my nails are hot.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other customers should know about my experience…read more On May 31 7:43 PM, Highland Spa Nails texted me asking for feedback about my appointment. The very next day, June 1, I responded with detailed concerns about both my pedicure and full set. I explained that I paid for the upgraded pedicure package, but the water was FREEZING cold, the "extended massage" was practically nonexistent, my calluses were barely addressed, and the overall pedicure felt rushed and incomplete. It was HORRIBLE. I also explained that my nails were crooked, extremely thick, uneven in length, pointed outward, had acrylic buildup around the cuticles, and looked poorly shaped overall. I was disappointed because I spent approximately $160 and felt the quality did not reflect the price. After sending that feedback, I received no response for an entire week. When I followed up, expressing my disappointment with the lack of communication, I was suddenly told that a staff member would be contacted and would reach out to me. I agreed and waited again. Nobody contacted me. I eventually called the salon myself and was told that their guarantee only applies if issues are brought to their attention before leaving the salon or within three days. The problem with that explanation is that I DID contact them within three days--I actually responded to their feedback request the very next day, on June 1. Rather than acknowledging that I had followed their policy, I was repeatedly told, "That's all I can tell you." What makes this even more frustrating is that my appointment ended at closing time, and I felt rushed out as the staff were closing the salon. The doors had already been locked and had to be unlocked for me to leave. I wasn't standing there inspecting every toenail because I trusted that the services I paid for had been completed properly, even though. I may not have gotten the massage I wanted. The quality of the work was disappointing, but the customer service afterward was worse. I made multiple attempts to resolve this privately before posting a review. I have screenshots of the feedback request, my response on June 1, the follow-up messages, and the later conversation where I was told staff would contact me. I understand that mistakes happen. What I don't understand is asking customers for feedback, ignoring that feedback when it's negative, and then later refusing to address the issue by citing a deadline that the customer actually met. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on either the quality of the service or the way my concerns were handled afterward.

I did rounded nails, and somehow some nails were sharp around the edges and underneath, and some of my black french tip were painted unevenly and i left with nail polish on my finger. I had to unfortunately push my review down to one star. There were issues I had originally ignored as I was excited to come in and get my nails done after about 3 years of not doing so and for my birthday dinner later on. I ran into issues like my original tech not showing at my allotted time for my full set after my pedicure was done, and being charged the wrong amount and my husband hearing the staff say I was charged the wrong amount. I had waited a long time for each of my appointments to start also. I ended up having to remove these nails after the given 2 week "fill" time period and ended up discovering that the acrylic used had come off with an acetone soak in a gummy state and realized MMA was used on my nails. It was extremely difficult to remove, time consuming and very painful, and I'm not really wanting to go back to this salon now. I also recall during my appointment, sitting next to clients who notified their techs that they had issues removing their previous sets. I will say their receptionist is a sweetheart who did handle the charging and no-show of my tech wonderfully and apologized, and they were super attentive to us, so this is not on them. I do not know who supplies the original kits for the techs, but MMA should never be used on our nails.
