really good experience. im a first timer here and I was a walk-in for a (much needed) pedicure. First impressions were really good- very clean space, lots of chairs and nail stations. I was greeted warmly by both the owner (?) and the nail tech. While sitting here I notice they have repeated customers and they are very friendly to both repeat and new custimers. I was specific with my nail tech and she was nice about what I wanted, which was 3 coats using two of my own polish colors I brought from home. I am now going to have a mani too. New owners in 2023. I've been going here for several years & the atmosphere has changed on a dime. I am sure they can do nails just fine but my favorite owner sold & favorite "nail" surgeon is gone. I am happy for the sale but the energy & atmosphere needs to evolve back to the heaven I perceive it was or whatever genuine heaven means to the new owners, if this is a goal? Looking for my little heaven again where I can spend money where it feels lucky & 100% the art of life & feng shui & atmosphere atmosphere atmosphere on all levels. You might love it here. I ended up here because my former nail salon told me they couldn't give me what I wanted done with my nails. It led me to Tom, who gives fantastic manicures for acrylic with gel. I have also been to Wendy and she did a great job with my fingernails, also. Tom gave me a pedicure and it was hands down the best pedicure I have ever had. The lady that helped me was very friendly, but I am so disappointed in my manicure. I get pictures of my hands taken for work (in the jewelry business) so my nails need to be perfect. We haven't ever had to wait long but there aren't many people working there, so I call ahead to be safe. I give 1 star just for the technician who's name is begins from A (Aiwa or something like that). Today was my first and last visit to this salon. When I called them to make an appointment phone picked up a man who was polite and friendly. I asked my preference is a woman who does gentle and neat job. But technician wasn't gentle at all, she was in rush and did her job in 1 hour 15 minutes for my gel manicure and regular pedicure with taking off old gel from my nails. I had several moments when she gave me pain by polishing my nails. It was torture not pleasure having this service. In the end of everything my toes didn't dry enough and technician put my shoes on. When I came home I found my nail polish was coming out of my toes all over. Fast - doesn't mean good! Remember that people! Absolutely Horiible would never go back had 3 pedis and 2 manicures and a full set the pedicures didnt even take off the dead skin on the heels and we get pedis every month they were rushed and one of the girls put the toenail polish on by the nail desk WHO does that??? the full set is the worst I have ever had. none of the nails match different lengths and different shapes. Needed a pedi for my "gargoyle toes", as my boyfriend called them, so stopped in here for the first time to try it out. They have 3 types of pedicures for the regular, non-gel. I chose #2 ice dancer. I can't remember the exact details of what it entailed, but she massaged my legs with exfoliant, did an ok callus scrub, hot towel wrap for legs, and foot massage for 45 mins (in addition with the usual cut and paint job). Service was good. I was offered water. And the nail tech was very cognizant of my needs (e.g made sure I was comfortable, water wasn't too hot or cold, asked if she was massaging too hard). Overall, I think the nail tech did a pretty job on my toes. I would go back. I'd like to see how a mani would look. However, I'm only giving 4/5 stars because $45 is a little pricey for a regular nail polish pedi. Yes, there were "perks" with the ice dancer pedi, but I've been to other nail places where those "perks" come standard with a basic pedi for $30-$35. And I've been to places where I've gotten a mani AND pedi for $50. I did leave a tip because the overall experience was good. $45 did not include the tip. read more

I have come to this shop about 3 times now and the last time I did, I called in advance to find out about availability for manicure and pedicure and they said to come right in (I live about 3 mins from this shop) About halfway through my pedicure, I was asked to come in tomorrow for my manicure as the technician was booked. I let them know that I could not as I had had to find a sitter in order to get my nails done. He did agree to do my nails, but did a bad job as he was rushing to get done. Paying $100+ for mediocre quality is not fair for any consumer. Will not be back. read more

I used to go to Jae nails and then I moved out of state. I think Tom is the absolute best nail tech there is. I can not find anyone as good in California . I have pink and white nails done and they are the most natural looking of anywhere I have ever gone. Great service too. read more

They got the water running and was sat down right on time and with a bottle of water. The atmosphere is great and very welcoming and the products they used seemed very nice because my feet were very soft! Every tool they used seemed sanitized and clean, and the massage was wonderful. Second time in a month that I've a confirmed appointment, day and time and arrived early and having a very hard time understanding why to make an appointment and still sit for up to 30 minutes as the provider takes other clients and double books. First time coming to Jae Nails and the customer service was great. I came with 6 people with only 3 people working and they managed to do a fantastic job and accommodated everyone of us. I had the best pedicure at Jae. Kim was my nail tech and she did an amazing job. I think I got a 30 minute massage! 15 minutes on each leg. Only $35! What a great deal! My 4-year-old daughter and I got in right away, and the tech was super sweet and friendly. She seemed to do a great job applying the polish, but it didn't stay! An hour after I left the salon, my polish was still smudging and wrinkling. Within three hours of walking out of the salon, my daughter had lost the polish from three of her nails, and a fourth was half smudged off. Her nails had been done first and were completely dry, but the whole polished part just popped right off. We spent $28 to have our nails done, only to have to redo them before bed. read more

My daughter and I went to this place to get a full set. I went to it because it has really good reviews however I did t have a very good experience. I told the man doing my nails that there was a dip in my nail and he said no there isn't when I was looking right at it. I got gel on my nails and he did 2 coats of it, didn't even ask if I wanted more coats ( I overheard another nail tech Offer to another customer). You could see the lines of the nail brush on my nails b/c the polish was light and not enough coats. I told him and his response was that he put another coat it would be too think. My main concern with this salon was that they did not seem to have sanitized tools. My technician used tools out of a plastic pencil box. The file she used to buff my toe nails already had white on it from what looked like someone else's nails. The tools were not in a sealed container and did not appear to be from a sanitizer. In hindsight, I wish I had asked about their sanitation process. I also felt like there were hidden costs that I was not notified about (ex. I chose a gel nail polish called cat's eye. They use a small magnet to draw out a stripe of sparkle and charge an extra $5 without notifying me of the extra cost until after) The technicians were pleasant and took their time, but the sanitary concerns and extra costs will keep me from returning. read more

They were fast getting me and my mom in for manicures so that was nice but during my manicure the woman made me bleed which isn't good but it wasn't the worst. When it was time to pay I was going to use my card and the woman began telling me I have to tip with cash because she doesn't get it all on the card. If she would've stopped there it would've been ok but after I kept telling her I would pay with my card she kept going and giving me examples like "if you tip me $10 I only get $7" so I stopped saying I would pay with my card. I told her I didn't have cash on me and she seemed very upset. I ended up borrowing $10 from my mom to tip her but I probably won't be returning to this salon. read more

Very poor experience. Went in to have my gel polish removed and get a regular manicure (trying to give my brittle nails a bit of a break!). The removal was all fine and swell, but around that same time two other customers walked in and wanted pedicures. There were no techs available. The tech working on mine began obviously hurrying, rushing to get me out of her chair so she could move on to the next. My cuticles are still a mess, and the polish she sloppily applied does not cover my nails (literally, the sides of my nails are bare). Had read good reviews but will not be going back after being treated with disrespect and feeling dismissed, and wasting money on a half-hearted attempt at a manicure that I had to go home and redo myself. Went there today for the first time. We had a group of 5 adults (4 pedis, 1 gel fill) and 3 toddlers for manicures. We were going to go to the nail salon in the EP mall (and then do the mall playground with the kids after), but the yelp reviews for that nail salon were pretty bad. Glad we went here. The staff was SO nice. They talked to my daughter and nieces and were very sweet with them (asking how old they were, their favorite color, getting them water). My gel fill looks great and my cousins loved their pedicures. We will definitely be back. read more
