I don't know what to think of the earlier poor reviews. Each time I've gone to orchid nails, they have done my nails to perfection. They are flawless. They don't give me any attitude about wanting "only" a manicure with regular polish. I drive past many other salons to go back to them. read more

Did not make an appointment with anyone specifically but pedi was great and gel manicure looks awesome (2 different people). Very relaxing, quiet salon. No "high pressure" selling that I had to deflect. Exactly what I look forward to when taking time for myself to get my nails done. Chairs are really nice and comfortable. Makes a big difference when getting both nails and feet done. Price is about average. Clean. Many colors to choose from. Will definitely go back. read more

We have been getting pedicures at Orchid for years, always loved their business. The ownership recently changed hands, and I'm sorry to say we won't be returning. Staff must be very inexperienced. Toenails clipped but not filed, scrub was only seconds long. No lotion. But the worst part was the polish. Staff painted over and over and over, until it was globby and on the skin. We would have asked for a redo, but I don't think they know how to paint nails. We left and went to another salon for a polish change. It was a waste of money for sure. read more

My friend and I went to Orchid Nails on a Saturday and were the only 2 customers in there. That should have been a red flag, however it was in town and prices seemed reasonable. My nail tech, Kim, used the pumice stone so hard on the side of my big toe that she ripped a chunk of skin clean off. I was bleeding and it was burning. Long story short, I refused to put my foot back into the bacteria filled tub after she gave me an open wound. After that, I had to argue with them about paying. They put me on the phone with the owner. I told her what had happened and that I shouldn't have to pay, she was hesitant but finally agreed. Horrible experience and I'm still worried about an infection. read more

Went here to get my gel nails redone and they had an opening so I didn't have to wait long. I should have made an appointment, but like they say...hindsight is 20/20. The owner (lady) was the one who did my nails and after my gels were taken off so she could apply new someone came in who had an appointment. The owner told her it would be a little bit of a wait and the customer seemed really unhappy about it (totally understandable!). The owner told her she would get her in as soon as possible... I figured another tech was almost done and then they would do her nails but that wasn't the case. The owner did my nails as fast as humanely possible! There was no luxury in the manicure what so ever. She only applied two very thin coats of gel that you could pretty much see through! I was shocked! I made a comment and she told me that is all they ever put on!? No, I have been here several times and have never had such a crappy manicure. I paid and went home, we were having people over for dinner and I didn't have time to argue. Two days later all my nails were chipping! They looked awful!! I will never go back now. read more

If I could leave a no star review I would, this nail solon is probably the worst I have ever been to. The staff are extremely rude, the service is terrible, and the atmosphere is uncomfortable. I went for a pedicure to try to relax and left even more stressed. The nail tech did not do a massage, got annoyed when I asked questions and then just got up and left at the end without telling me she was done, I had to ask someone if she was coming back. Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

As I'm sitting here having a pedicure, it is probably one of the best pedicures I've had in a really long time. I got the Luxury Pedicure ($40, but I chose to spoil myself). The gentleman, I believe his name is Li, is fantastic. I had surgery on my foot in May and just got cleared in August so having a good pedicure was something that I needed to have. They always do a great job actually doing nails in any form or design. Also they are very friendly. The only problem I sometimes have is never having my appointments start on time. Somethings it's 5 minutes late and there's been days where it is 40 minutes late. I still go because like I said they are extremely nice and good at what they do. read more

This use to be my go to nail salon. Don't know if it was a change in ownership or what happened but the service not as good. I get pedicures on a regular basis. Went once and to get the gel off my toes, which they put on at a previous appointment, I ended up with little scrapes over half of my toes from abrasive taking the polish off. The next time I went in they left a piece of ingrown toe nail, which caused me problems for several days. I am on my feet for work so these kinds of issues cause problems. Switched nail salons because of this. read more
