Manicures are not the same as the previous owners and the prices are a little higher. Not knowing the formers left ( sometime between June and September 2025) I went in. The gal that did my nails did not clip my cuticles or put the oil on my nails. The other workers always gave me a hand massage with a lavender lotion. This gal pointed to the lotion bottle and then said if I wanted lotion I could put it on myself. It was very thick and smelled like suntan lotion. I brought up my issues with my nails while they were getting worked on was told they would look better after the finished product I expressed how awful they were too short not even shaped properly and all that and still got charged. Not really a big fan of this nail salon. The first time I went I waited almost an hour. Second time I made an appointment, only to avoid the long wait. Which was a good idea bc it was pretty busy. The salon chooses quantity over quality. They're always rushing or they try to do more than one person at a time. The lady had finished filing my set and everything, all she had to do was color them. But she hoped over to another customer who's been sitting in the chair forever. She had me wait while she was doing someone else's nails and All I literally needed done was the color! We have been here before but never again. They consistently are over booked and a typical manicure takes 90 minutes because the nail techs jump from person to person leaving you with half done nails. You are literally held hostage in the salon because you can't leave mid-stream. And the quality is ridiculous. They are so rushed so your nails look horrible. We finally got to our pedicure chairs at 11:20 but no water In the bowls so we could soak our feet at least. I have been a frequent client at Apple Nails for at least 15 years or more. After COVID, and after Tom, Diane and the others departed, I have seen a steady decline in quality of service. Including about a year ago when a loyal customer program that miraculously had computer issues so after spending hundreds of dollars, my rewards disappeared never to be mentioned again. The last 2 visits were just too much. The polish on my nails (natural) looked like my Granddaughter polished my nails. I wasn't feeling well so gave them the benefit of just being an 'off day'. The last visit where I talked my husband into getting a manicure and pedicure before vacation was the last straw. My nails were not shaped and the tips of my natural nails again had globs of polish at the end. Definitely did NOT look professional. We had a pre-vacation errand but I stayed until my nails looked presentable. Another lady took over. Speaking in their native language , she reshaped and repolished my nails. To spend all this unexpected time on such a simple process of a gel polish by 'professionals' was ridiculous! My time is my MOST valued asset. Although I must say there was a young man that I had not seen before that gave me a pedicure, AND he did a GOOD job. NEVERTHELES , I won't be going back. I pass by at least 5 nail salons to go to Apple Nails, so I will just start trying them one by one until I find the one. Quality service should be sustainable when it's your business, or at least that's my thoughts. And so when there's constant failures; it's time to move on... read more

I can honestly say that in my year that I've lived in Minnesota, this is by far my FAVORITE nail salon! I have gone to a few different ones here and every time I've gone to the others, they have been so terrible! I went in a couple days ago for an eyebrow wax (which by the way they do a super fantastic job) and my brothers girlfriend had mentioned we went to a different nail salon and how they messed up my nails and them being so nice helped me fix the shape and did a much better paint job than the other place! read more

(July 14, 2020) Alright, this used to be my favorite place to get my nails done, and now is by far my least favorite. As soon as i stepped in a worker literally ran to put a temperature taker to my forehead and scared both me and my friend who went in about 5 minutes apart. Our nail tech was working on us and 3 other people at the same time-running back and forth to do our nails for 5 minutes at a time and then leaving again. We started to notice little things wrong and then it was time to pay. This nail tech, Tom, made my nails around 5 millimeters different from one full hand compared to the next. My thumb and pointer finger were straight, like acrylics should be, but the other 6 were facing about 2 millimeters upward. It looks like they are trying to fly away. My nails are hideous and these aren't even worth a penny. Therefore, I will never be going to this "nail salon" again. read more

So we have been going here for about 3yrs but the service just keeps getting worse and our most recent visit was the last straw with disrespectful people and the dirtiest we have seen it. Normal nail place, no English but friendly when you walk in. Unfortunately if you go during the week they act as if we are bothering them. So as much as I would have loved to give them a good review it's about 75% of the time they overcharge you dispite the pricing being listed out. When confronted about the price or bad service they just smile and nod so hopefully here they will be able to read this post and see it's not acceptable. But given the review recently it doesn't seem out of the normal to have bad service. To avoid this turning into a novel just skip this place as it's not worth the chance of being overcharged and disappointed. I've asked for the manager's/owners information a handful of times and I get a new name each time and handed a card with only their phone number on it. In the age of businesses going out of business it seems that this place is making an effort to do just that with zero regard for hospitality. read more

I came here to get my nails done the day before my graduation party and my nails were scratched and later that night they smudged which is crazy. I then went back the next day to get them fixed I had to pay the full price to get them fixed which is just ridiculous. Also while waiting to get my nails done they brought me to a chair ignored me for 45 min and were doing others nails before mine. Do not recommend not organized at all. read more

They don't say "no" to anybody walking in - even if they're already over-booked. My nails turned out okay but it took 2 hours to do what generally takes about 45 minutes. They rush from one person to another, doing a little bit here and then "be back in 3 minutes" rush to someone else and do a little bit there and then back to you and on and on. This was the worst place I have ever been to. I went back to get what was done poor fixed and was told that the polish takes 2 days to fully dry. It was my mistake that I wore socks a day later. And the color I got is also known to take longer to dry. ... which was never told that when getting them done . But it was comical to hear ,It was a load of crap really! I had a very bad experience with this place!! After a bad manicure and pedicure I complained and wanted my nails to be fix. This guy was very rude and reprimanded me loudly in front of other customers like it was my fault that his employee did a bad job. Told me to come back at a later time, just to make me wait. After, with disdain took off my nail polish, while arguing with me when I was trying to explain to him what it was wrong with my cuticles and nails, he sent me to wash my hands, When I came back to the chair, I waited and nobody came to finish mine, while he went to do somebody's else nails and left me waiting without no explanation. I left the place no nails fixed and of course, no money back. I felt mistreated and embarrassed. I would never be back there!! Would not recommend going here. My acrylics came out un-even, sloppy job, felt like he needed to rush. The guy who did my nails had to keep asking what color I chose and kept bringing the wrong color each time (he seemed clueless). For whatever reason, the polish is turning yellow and the gel polish chipped not even a day later. Wouldn't recommend unless you want something cheap, sloppy and quick. read more

My 12 year old daughter and her 2 friends went to Apple Nails with their babysitter. I knew there were kid/student discounts so I told her that was fine and she could use her own money. They all got acrylic nails-- my daughter did not tell them gel polish but that is what they did. They proceeded to keep the $42 my daughter gave them. And did not ask if she wanted any change back... they did this to all 3 12 yo girls wo a parent only a 16 yo babysitter. My daughter said she tried to get change but they ignored her and acted like they were busy. I called and asked to speak with a manager and told them about the incident and that they did not even ask what type of polish but was charged for the gel. The man I spoke with said she can come back in to take off the gel polish and they will paint with regular polish and then give $ back. My 12 yo daughter gave them $42 hoping to get a $5 bill back and they kept $ and ignored her. There are coupons for $23 they could have helped them use, instead they charged $42 (x3). I am beyond disgusted that they would take advantage of 3 young girls there with their babysitter using their own $. You should be ashamed Apple Nails!! read more
