The spa is inside an industrial-style building with the entrance tucked along the side. The welcoming staff got me situated and kindly stored my luggage in a back room. The main floor has chairs, water, and tea to help you settle in before heading downstairs. Lockers are located in the hallway outside the changing room. Most of the showers, along with the salt scrub, are in the communal spa-pool area, so be prepared for that--although a few private showers are also available. The dry sauna and steam room are off to one side, and a separate room with loungers provides space to rest and relax. A group of women was chatting in the lounge, but they remained there while I enjoyed the spa pools in peace. It was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely return. Enjoy!

My facial was specific to my needs with my esthetician, Kristin, asking my goals for skincare, products I currently used, and if I had any sensitivities to specific aromas or scents. She used a pumpkin enzyme during cleansing that was wonderful, I wish they had it for sale. She was thorough and gave my neck, collarbones, and décolleté the same care my face received. The hand massage was a wonderful touch. I felt relaxed and refreshed after my one hour treatment. I picked up a couple of products that I will continue to use in earnest after my visit. The Water Eye Gels are my new favorite thing. I will absolutely make this my spa of choice when visiting this area again.

Now if the valet will be available is a whole other story. It took a considerable amount of time to drop off my car and I had asked three different employees about getting change for tipping and this proved more difficult than expected. I was greeted by Laura - who truly was the bright spot in this whole experience. She was on top of it and so friendly. She got me a locker and got me set up. I was eager to come here because they boasted a steam room, sauna, rainforest shower, and hot tub. Lukewarm would be a great way to describe this experience. The steam room just didn't get as steamy or warm as I would like, I had to turn on the sauna myself and wait for it to warm up (energy efficiency maybe) and the hot tub had water features that were spitting out ice cold water - cooling down the whole hot tub. I didn't venture to the rainforest shower because I couldn't bear to be any colder! I did love the tiled heated chairs in this lounge though! Normally these features would be my favorite and I could spend all day rotating but Anda spa caps you at an hour. There are a few lounges that you can check out. The one lounge has a few snacks, unlabeled tea, and fruit infused water. As some one with allergies - the mystery of it all wasn't great. The other lounge had weighted blankets. I was told to wait in either lounge for my technician. My technician was around 10 minutes late to my appointment without any notice. I had to walk out to the front to flag a staff member down to make sure I understood the instructions correctly. This definitely detracted from the relaxed vibe. The facial was in a brighter room than I'm used to and obviously you're downtown so it can be a bit noisy. The facial itself was good and the technician had strong hands though I wish I would've researched more about the products. My skin has felt dried out since and it's just not the best experience I've had. I'm going to check out some other spa options before I return here. Again - Laura was phenomenal and the space is clean and modern - I just didn't have the experience that I would've liked for the price.

I would probably come back again for a massage. I think the facial was a little basic so I would opt for a more specialized facial next time.
