Had the most tranquil experience at Anda Spa. All staff members were so pleasant and helpful. Their amenities are gorgeous, clean and really set the relaxation mood. I booked a couple's massage for my spouse and I and both massage technicians were amazing! Quite possibly the best massage I've received. After the massage I enjoyed the sauna and steam room. They have a soaking tub but it was out of order during my visit. I'll have to go back when that is operational to get the full experience Anda Spa has to offer. I'm on the hunt for a good spa in the twin cities area and decided to try out Anda Spa. They are definitely on the pricier end but offer amenities I was eager to check out + they have membership options. If you have an appointment- they offer complimentary valet. Now if the valet will be available is a whole other story. It took a considerable amount of time to drop off my car and I had asked three different employees about getting change for tipping and this proved more difficult than expected. I was greeted by Laura - who truly was the bright spot in this whole experience. She was on top of it and so friendly. She got me a locker and got me set up. I was eager to come here because they boasted a steam room, sauna, rainforest shower, and hot tub. Lukewarm would be a great way to describe this experience. The steam room just didn't get as steamy or warm as I would like, I had to turn on the sauna myself and wait for it to warm up (energy efficiency maybe) and the hot tub had water features that were spitting out ice cold water - cooling down the whole hot tub. I didn't venture to the rainforest shower because I couldn't bear to be any colder! I did love the tiled heated chairs in this lounge though! Normally these features would be my favorite and I could spend all day rotating but Anda spa caps you at an hour. There are a few lounges that you can check out. The one lounge has a few snacks, unlabeled tea, and fruit infused water. As some one with allergies - the mystery of it all wasn't great. The other lounge had weighted blankets. I was told to wait in either lounge for my technician. My technician was around 10 minutes late to my appointment without any notice. I had to walk out to the front to flag a staff member down to make sure I understood the instructions correctly. This definitely detracted from the relaxed vibe. The facial was in a brighter room than I'm used to and obviously you're downtown so it can be a bit noisy. The facial itself was good and the technician had strong hands though I wish I would've researched more about the products. My skin has felt dried out since and it's just not the best experience I've had. I'm going to check out some other spa options before I return here. Again - Laura was phenomenal and the space is clean and modern - I just didn't have the experience that I would've liked for the price. read more

Visited here as part of a birthday staycation and wasn't super impressed. I've been to dozens of spas over the years, and this one is just okay. It feels like they are trying to create a zen, minimalist space, but it kind of gave off warehouses vibes to me. Instead of warm, luxurious, and inviting, I felt cold, bare, and awkward. The staff was nice, but it seemed like they weren't very comfortable being there either. So it was a little odd. My masseuse didn't seem to be comfortable massaging me either. Instead of long, slow, relaxing stokes, it was all quick and a bit rough. They also don't tell you ahead of time that some of the amenities (Crystal Sauna and Quartz Spa) aren't always available because they rent those out as stand-alone services. So when my companion and I brought out swimsuits to enjoy a soak after our massages, it was a huge disappointment because someone had rented the quarts spa. read more

I have been looking for a good day spa in the cities and am so glad I got to try out Anda spa! I started my visit in the eucalyptus steam room before going to my 60 minute massage. The massage was amazing and super relaxing (shoutout to Brittney)! I then went and spent some time in the quartz spa that has a jacuzzi, waterfall showers, and heated loungers. Other than the massage, I have to say that the heated quartz lounger was my favorite part of the spa! I finished out my visit with some time in the dry crystal sauna, which was super relaxing. Anda spa includes complimentary valet as well as snacks and some drinks in the lounge/waiting room. It's pricey but booking a service gives you access to the entire spa facility, so you can make a day of it. Self care is very high on my list, and this place had all the components of a holistic spa day experience. We had a bachelorette party here and it was lovely. For a group of six, we got full access to the spa facilities, which included their lockers, showers, private relaxation room, sauna, whirlpool room, and quartz spa. Snacks included but were not limited to dried cranberries, almonds, apples, tea, and water. The day included a two-hour reservation at the Aura Lounge, which was a private room with four oversized lounge chairs, weighted blankets, and candles. Spa guests can order prosecco with bottles, which range from $40 to $250 as well as juices, kombucha, CBD drinks, and herbal teas to be delivered to the lounge While we had access to the room, we rotated through the massage sessions we booked. I had a 60-minute massage for $135 (so basically $170 with tax, fees, and gratuity split among all staff). I made sure to indulge in the steam room and the whirlpool room while I enjoyed the company catching up with the girls. My only regret from this experience is that we didn't stay longer! I had been on the HUNT for a full day spa experience - not just a "get a massage and go", but somewhere we could hang all day. Anda Spa delivered on that promise. We came 2+ hours early and were greeted and brought to the locker rooms where we changed into our robes and sandals. We spent a while in the sauna, steam rooms, and bubbling in the quartz spa - a hot tub - before our massage. I loved the heated tile chairs! We lounged in the waiting area for a bit before our massage. Nuts and dried fruit, apples, tea and water were available for snacking and the chairs were so comfy! Awesome decor too. The couples massage was DI-VINE: probably one of the best massages my partner and I have had. The massage therapists were kind, checked in on us and were happy to adjust pressure or style, and provided a great massage. After, we lounged in the relaxation room - a quiet space with the comfiest chaise lounges, blankets and pillows. Salt lamps are my love language, so I could have stayed here forever! I will echo other reviewers in saying the downfall of this place is their booking process. It is very difficult to reach anyone. I had to call three days in a row when I was first trying to make an appointment. That is a huge area for improvement as I almost chose to go elsewhere. However, once we arrived, everything was incredible. My mom and I each had a facial and a massage in addition to spending private time in the quartz spa area which includes a dry sauna, jacuzzi, rain shower and heated chairs. I will say that that area is a must have; it's currently only available for private reservation and it's worth the cost. We spent an hour in there before our services and it was such a relaxing start to the day. Our technicians were extremely professional and kind as well. I would definitely go back for a massage. I also liked that they spent a good 20% of the facial on my arms and shoulders and neck while the various masks were drying on my face. Went and got the handcrafted massage. I went about 30 mins Earlier then my appt to use their sauna and whirlpool. It was so relaxing! From the very beginning it was so welcoming, I was greeted by amazing staff and shown around. The lockers are great and they did a wonderful job to make the atmosphere relaxing. My massage tech Michael went thru some details with me which was wonderful because this was my very first massage. The hot towels were such an amazing addition! The showers were great and hey had shampoo conditioner and body wash for you. At check out the staff stopped their conversation to assist me which made me feel like they value their customers! They do include a service charge which 90% goes to your tech. Which confused me a little because that sounds like a mandatory tip charge. Overall would definitely go back! Then I added on eyebrow wax at the last moment. She ripped off skin on both eyebrows. (Photos were hard to take on myself but the two I included were taken 5 days after so the skin had started to heal). I reached out to the spa about this via email, via phone, and via their website and never got any return communication. This experience was horrible. Save your money. It started with a bath, then a sugar scrub, wrap, foot and scalp massage then full body massage. My masseuse Bess was terrific! I did not feel rushed and I was relaxed the whole time. We decided to do the "Renew Ritual" which began with a full-body exfoliation and then a 60 minute massage. It was absolutely wonderful! Our therapists, Bess & Tita, made it a fun, relaxing, and enjoyable experience. They made sure we were comfortable throughout. We both agreed that it was one of our best massage experiences we have had to date. The only negative was that they were closing the spa facilities early for a photoshoot and we were not. informed about it until we arrived to our appointment. Just updating on my favorite spa! Been getting massages regularly during the pandemic until last week. They are really amazing. Not crowded. Clean. I love Stephanie and Rowan as massage therapists, they truly dig in every single muscles of your body. I switch between them when my schedule doesn't work for either one. I go for deep tissue massage. I feel bad for them because I'm always asking for super deep pressure and they shears deliver, lol! There's so good at it. Kind, sweet and super talented. I love the online booking. It's a stress free way to check on my schedule and theirs. The girls at the front are so nice too. Thank you everyone! My husband and I have gone to Anda Spa twice now--we were absolutely blown away by the facilities and services our first visit that we couldn't wait to book another visit. To our surprise, our second visit was anything unlike our first experience. I had booked a couple's massage, pedicures, and facials for both my husband and I starting at 9AM for my husband's birthday. Anda Spa called us 15 minutes before our appointment to let us know they would have to rearrange a few of our services due to staffing issues (we live a decent distance away and were already well on our way by the time they called us). We were supposed to start off with the couples massage and then alternate between our pedicures and facials. However, Anda Spa was unable to accommodate the couple's massage, and booked us for separate massages instead. I was able to get started right away at 9AM, and my husband was booked for a 10:15AM massage afterwards. However, his appointment didn't begin until 11:30AM--he had been left in the waiting area the entire time and when 10:30AM passed and none of the technicians had called him to start, he approached the front desk to get an update on his appointment. They then told him his appointment had been pushed back once again to 11:30AM. Left waiting for 2.5 hours, he asked if there was anything they could offer him to accommodate his wait--the only thing they said they'd be able to offer him was a glass of champagne. Which they gave him... In a plastic cup. (We had seen a few other guests with glass champagne flutes.) So while I (the non-birthday guest) had already gotten my massage done and was in the middle of my pedicure, my husband came around to tell me he was still waiting for his first service to start. Because of this, my husband decided to cancel his facial since he simply didn't want to be at Anda Spa any longer than he already had been. The technicians themselves are amazing, but regardless of a great first visit and nice technicians, our second experience went so horrifically that there was no way that our first visit could balance out our second visit. For one of the highest rated and supposed-most luxurious spas in Minnesota, and for the price you pay, extreme disappointment can't even begin to describe our experience at Anda Spa. We received nothing more than absurd waiting time, lack of accommodation and communication, and inadequate care from Anda Spa. We would highly encourage anyone who values their time, energy, and money, to go elsewhere. read more

I was excited to try this spa and convinced my friend that it would be worth the high prices since they advertise that booking a spa service gives you access to a bunch of other relaxing things like saunas and a water circuit with hot tubs, etc. Knowing that we're living in these strange COVID-19 times, I checked the website and their Facebook page prior to booking to make sure everything was open and to see what their safety protocols were. They had just posted about all of their various spa rooms and saunas being open. Great! I then went forward with booking. I spoke to two staff members, and neither of them mentioned closures, etc. or any Covid-related limitations. We show up, and pay to park (since we weren't told they validate). At that time, we are told that the various sauna rooms are open, but not available without booking or paying for them separately! I could not believe this, and immediately started looking at the website thinking this had been my mistake. We go to sit in the "relaxation" room and hear the women next to us discussing the very same thing! Apparently they had been mislead as well, and the spa's solution was to offer them "free" prosecco. (Considering the prosecco likely costs them a few dollars/glass compared to the money they're making in extra fees for what they advertise as included services and the fees when you leave, this is a pretty great racket for them.) When we brought up the same issues, namely how deceptive the website/posts were, we were thanked for bringing this to their attention (even though we knew we were at least the second people just that day to complain), and offered "free" prosecco. The explanation I later received was that this was the result of Covid, but considering there was no mask requirement, no vaccination requirement, and 7 women in a tiny steam room, that cannot be the case. Unfortunately even the service I received was not as advertised. I went in for a scrub/wrap, and it was a fine massage, but the "wrap" was just another type of lotion? I felt bad for my masseuse since she was forced into a small room with me without her employer confirming I was vaccinated and with no expectation I would wear a mask. Lastly, when checking out we realized the prices were also not as advertised. For one, they added a $30 surcharge! I guess that's how they pay for all the "free" prosecco?? For me this was not just a waste of money, but I feel cheated. If you're considering going to this spa, to avoid being deceived, I would suggest getting a confirmation in writing of what the final price will be and what is all included/excluded since Anda avoids providing any of this information in it's advertising. read more

Anda Spa cancelled our couple's massage less than two hours before our appointment! We initially booked a couple's massage on September 21st, for October 11th to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We let them know the special occasion via email as well. On the morning of October 11th, they called at 8:36am to cancel our 10:15am appointment. They said it was "due to an unforeseen absence". They said they could still do one appointment, however I told them to cancel the whole thing. We booked a couple's massage for a reason and not to have separate appointments! They did not apologize or try to rectify the situation in any way other than saying they would cancel free of charge like that was a special benefit being provided. The massage and amenities were great. I just get really irked by being charged a 20% service fee (which they are clear is not the tip). I know a "service fee" is "thing", but in my mind it is a bad thing. It indicates to me that a business is underpaying its employees and it doesn't know how to set pricing. Don't advertise the price of a massage is $150 when the price you MUST pay is $180. If you can't afford to offer a $150 massage for $150 maybe you should get a college intern to run some numbers for you--you are either making bad business decisions or you are fleecing your customers. When I was done and after I left a 20% tip for my clinician, my $150 massage was $220 (with tax). read more

The Rose Quartz in the waiting area is beautiful, several seating areas that you can relax before and after going in. Once inside was great to find places to relax and unwind. The esthetician herself was so kind and lovely, but butchered my brows and they look like sh*t. However I would still recommend going here, just don't get your brows waxed while there. I will start out by saying the the facilities were clean and fun to use. My partner did have a good service as well. My experience, however, was close to terrible. I booked the "ultimate zen ritual" which is a 2.5hr treatment, including a full body massage, a scalp massage, and a foot massage. What I got was the technician scrubbing and rubbing oil on my body for over 2hrs and then a very quick back and leg massage (like I'm talking maybe 2-3mins for each leg). I was honestly confused when the service was over as I did not get half of what was expected. I did let the front desk employee know and they took some money off of the bill but it still cost me over $1k. I also booked for me and my partner to be in the same room but the spa was not prepared for that when we arrived. I have gotten better service for a fraction of that cost. If you want a spa experience, I recommend trying out other ones before you waste your money here. read more

The spa is so beautiful and welcoming and I love that you can use all the facilities all day if you would like!
