These rave Yelp reviews don't lie! I wanted to gift my partner a foot reflexology session for his…read morebirthday - and obviously get one for myself too - and Epic came up on Groupon. After checking the reviews and seeing nothing but top marks across the board, I was convinced! This is a building off of highway 7 in SLP with street parking along the road next to it. Inside, there's a simple but comfortable waiting room. My reflexologist Mary Ann welcomed me warmly and since it was my first time, told me about reflexology and how it works. She asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to work on, and got started. My feet are usually so ticklish, but they weren't at all during the session! Throughout, Mary Ann told me which pressure points correlated to which parts of the body - so fascinating. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much. At the end, Mary Ann even showed me which parts of my hand I can press on myself when I'm feeling tension in certain areas. We had a wonderful conversation and Mary Ann's laughter is enough to brighten any one's day, reflexology aside. Plus they have a Yelp check in offer for 10% off. I'll definitely be back!

Both are professional and do great work. If you are having "Issues with your tissues," then I recommend Epic Bodyworks without reservation.

I have been seeing Erin for more than 4 years now, on and off. I really enjoy my visits to her, as…read moreI leave my appointment feeling absolutely pain free! Many people might not know what Rolfing is, but my quick definition of it is a cross between a deep tissue massage and a chiropractor. But I know that is still not accurate. Rolfing works the myofascia of your body. I have tried 2 other rolfers before I met Erin, and after my first appointment with her in April of 2006, I just kept coming back! So... if you want to try a different modality of pain relief, that actually WORKS to put your body back into shape, pain-free, then try Erin out!!!

I have been dancing most of my life, performing as a ballerina, modern dancer, and (currently)…read moreprofessional ballroom dancer. Despite attempting to take good care of my body, dancing has taken its toll anyway. In the 2 years prior to seeing Erin last summer, I had torn at least 4 major muscles in various locations on my left side, and had chronic foot/leg/shoulder pain. After one year with Erin, not only am I pain free, but: -I have my arches back (after almost 2 decades) -My tibias are no longer severely bent -The tendons in my feet are no longer contorted due to point shoes and high heels -My left side no longer gets injure easily, after realigning my pelvis and rib cage -I am able to take a fuller breath than I have since my childhood -Carpel tunnel is gone from my wrists -Internal issues, such as bad indigestion and chronic mid-back pain, have resolved -My endurance, balance, flexibility, and speed have all improved as my body alignment improves. My muscles no longer have to work solely to hold my body together, and are free to actually assist me to dance! I have recommended many students to Erin for various postural and movement problems, and they have also benefitted greatly from her sessions. My students' professions range from consultants to engineers, so the benefits of rolfing are certainly not limited to athletes, and it can definitely help those with chronic pain. I also need to mention that in addition to dance and warm-ups, I also do quite a bit of Pilates and have regularly seen excellent massage therapists, chiropractors, and dance/sports physical therapists. However, none of them in combination could do what Erin did for me. I still see a massage therapist, but now I do it to keep my muscles in good condition and not to relieve the severe pain that use to exist. If you have a great professional in one of those fields you already work with, but still need more help, I highly recommend adding rolfing with Erin to your schedule. Worth every penny.

First I'd like to say that I've been here before, and I had a wonderful experience. Last year I had…read moreweakness and pain in my left leg/hip that wasn't corrected by recurring chiropractic visits. I decided to go to a massage therapist and ask them to massage my butt. (I don't know why this makes me giggle.) I was black and blue but now I can lift my leg again! Because of this great first visit (plus the Harry Potter decor of the building), I'll give this 2 stars instead of 1. For Christmas this year I asked for gift certificates for this place because of my previous positive experience. Today, not even a week after the holidays, I eagerly used one. Within five minutes of the massage, I was battling in my mind to stay positive--maybe things would get better. They didn't. I truly felt like someone was rubbing lotion on me. That's it. I eventually asked for more pressure because I'm one of those people who don't speak up when they should and I think it resulted in elbows and knuckles being thrown into the mix, but it just didn't feel good or relaxing (I kept thinking about proper tipping etiquette for a bad massage and was stressing myself out). I'm not sure if the massage therapist had long finger nails or what, but I rarely felt a thumb--and never pressure from her other fingers. I ended up falling asleep--because of boredom. If there were a way to get up and shake hands and declare "this just isn't working," I would have done it. One hour ended up being a bad thing instead of a retreat. There were also a couple of Kleenex's leading up to the room--one right outside the door sitting in a cup on a ledge, and another on a table in the room that she disposed of as she left the room so I could undress. It's cold season and she works with her hands, so I was mildly grossed out. I have another gift certificate so I will be returning, but I'm going to be very specific with the receptionist and I'm going to tell her about my experience today--although I'll feel like a jerk. I truly hope that this woman was just under the weather and they force her to take sick leave, and I can adjust this rating after my next visit.

They had me…read morecomplete intake paperwork regarding what I wanted to be worked on and it was an easy straightforward process. There is ample parking and a beautiful open floor plan inside. Upon arriving the check in was fast, Katy checked me in, was super kind, and informative. I had a cup of water before my massage and Sierra came to grab me pretty quickly. Prior to my massage she checked in with me regarding what I wanted work on, the intensity of the massage, deep tissue massage, and the use of hot stones. I think she did a good job of informing me of what was happening as it was happening. My one comment would be a little bit of small talk to help ease customers into comfort if they're new to massages. I will say the unique thing about this massage was it felt like she utilized holistic approach (really utilizing the feedback of the muscles / body to find spots of tension or knots) to working with the body and not just massaging at a hard level. I usually leave massages sore and relaxed although I left here not super sore but my muscles and body felt relaxed. I was impressed with Sierra's ability to find the knots or tight spots and to work on them in a way that's wasn't only painful (a few spots were but that's normal). I got a deal on my massage as it was my first one which was extremely affordable and likely started a new little splurge for future me to continue caring for my body in a way which feels productive and healing. Outside of this experience I have also come to Wellspring to do a free yoga class which was extremely helpful in releasing body tension and relaxing. There is also tea and water for customers. Overall, I think that the employees at Wellspring care for their customers and truly want to help. This is shown in how they talk, present, the engagement that's shown, and the hard work they do. I would highly recommend coming here as massages are fairly priced and the employees truly seem to care.

She had been seen at other physical therapy centers but never seemed to improve much. After it was recommended that she seek treatment at Wellspring she had an evaluation and has begun treatment. She says that she feels like they are REALLY helping her and for the first time has not had to take Ibuprophen every moring for pain! Apparently they incorporate a "holistic, whole body approach" using hands on and various tools to also address years of muscles tightening or weakening. She added that she has found the staff (PT's, PTA's, Physician Assistant, front office) work exceedingly well together as a team helping, encouraging, supporting and reinforcing her progress and simplifing scheduling and insurance issues. Based on my friend's experience currently, I would highly recommend the clinic. I will update this post at another date.
