I have been seeing Erin for more than 4 years now, on and off. I really enjoy my visits to her, as…read moreI leave my appointment feeling absolutely pain free! Many people might not know what Rolfing is, but my quick definition of it is a cross between a deep tissue massage and a chiropractor. But I know that is still not accurate. Rolfing works the myofascia of your body. I have tried 2 other rolfers before I met Erin, and after my first appointment with her in April of 2006, I just kept coming back! So... if you want to try a different modality of pain relief, that actually WORKS to put your body back into shape, pain-free, then try Erin out!!!

I have been dancing most of my life, performing as a ballerina, modern dancer, and (currently)…read moreprofessional ballroom dancer. Despite attempting to take good care of my body, dancing has taken its toll anyway. In the 2 years prior to seeing Erin last summer, I had torn at least 4 major muscles in various locations on my left side, and had chronic foot/leg/shoulder pain. After one year with Erin, not only am I pain free, but: -I have my arches back (after almost 2 decades) -My tibias are no longer severely bent -The tendons in my feet are no longer contorted due to point shoes and high heels -My left side no longer gets injure easily, after realigning my pelvis and rib cage -I am able to take a fuller breath than I have since my childhood -Carpel tunnel is gone from my wrists -Internal issues, such as bad indigestion and chronic mid-back pain, have resolved -My endurance, balance, flexibility, and speed have all improved as my body alignment improves. My muscles no longer have to work solely to hold my body together, and are free to actually assist me to dance! I have recommended many students to Erin for various postural and movement problems, and they have also benefitted greatly from her sessions. My students' professions range from consultants to engineers, so the benefits of rolfing are certainly not limited to athletes, and it can definitely help those with chronic pain. I also need to mention that in addition to dance and warm-ups, I also do quite a bit of Pilates and have regularly seen excellent massage therapists, chiropractors, and dance/sports physical therapists. However, none of them in combination could do what Erin did for me. I still see a massage therapist, but now I do it to keep my muscles in good condition and not to relieve the severe pain that use to exist. If you have a great professional in one of those fields you already work with, but still need more help, I highly recommend adding rolfing with Erin to your schedule. Worth every penny.

These rave Yelp reviews don't lie! I wanted to gift my partner a foot reflexology session for his…read morebirthday - and obviously get one for myself too - and Epic came up on Groupon. After checking the reviews and seeing nothing but top marks across the board, I was convinced! This is a building off of highway 7 in SLP with street parking along the road next to it. Inside, there's a simple but comfortable waiting room. My reflexologist Mary Ann welcomed me warmly and since it was my first time, told me about reflexology and how it works. She asked if I had anything in particular I wanted to work on, and got started. My feet are usually so ticklish, but they weren't at all during the session! Throughout, Mary Ann told me which pressure points correlated to which parts of the body - so fascinating. I could definitely tell when she hit the points that correlate with where I hold tension: my neck, shoulders, and lower back. It was a soothing and relaxing session, and I learned so much. At the end, Mary Ann even showed me which parts of my hand I can press on myself when I'm feeling tension in certain areas. We had a wonderful conversation and Mary Ann's laughter is enough to brighten any one's day, reflexology aside. Plus they have a Yelp check in offer for 10% off. I'll definitely be back!

I have been going to Wellspring for many years now. They mainly do Physical Therapy, but they also…read moredo 30 minute massages for non-therapy clients. They were not taking massage clients or new PT clients due to covid, but are back in action now with their new, bigger location. New location has plenty of parking and is easy to find, just off Shady Oak Road and 62. The space easily allows for social distancing when not working directly with anyone. There is a coat rack and space for shoes at the door, next to reception. You will be asked to fill out a form prior to your appointment, but that is pretty typical for any service related business nowadays. Over the years, I have never had anyone less than fabulous for massage. They always review your chart and listen to your immediate needs and accommodate what you want to work on, as well as working on what they feel you need to work on. I suppose if you wanted a relaxing massage, that is what they would do, but I like to come here because they dig into you with pressure! I like to leave my massages feeling it, especially the next day. I have even gone in before not being able to move my head to one side. Had them work just on my neck and they worked out the kink and I was able to turn my head fully in both directions again. They are keeping up with the times and offering CBD massages, though I have not purchased any products. Of course they want you to become a PT client, not just a massage client, but they do not pressure you in any way. I know I need to do some PT to fix things, but they are happy to mend me as needed with massage. FYI they do a free PT consultation and help you figure out Insurance garbage. As far as covid safety goes, they are doing a great job. All employees are wearing masks and all clients are required to do so as well, including during the massage. Due to the nature of the business, they cleaned between clients pre-covid, but I do not know to what extent that may have changed. It always looks and smells clean and I have no doubt they are taking every precaution, and then some. I highly recommend!

I booked a massage here as a last minute self care thing and I was not disappointed. They had me…read morecomplete intake paperwork regarding what I wanted to be worked on and it was an easy straightforward process. There is ample parking and a beautiful open floor plan inside. Upon arriving the check in was fast, Katy checked me in, was super kind, and informative. I had a cup of water before my massage and Sierra came to grab me pretty quickly. Prior to my massage she checked in with me regarding what I wanted work on, the intensity of the massage, deep tissue massage, and the use of hot stones. I think she did a good job of informing me of what was happening as it was happening. My one comment would be a little bit of small talk to help ease customers into comfort if they're new to massages. I will say the unique thing about this massage was it felt like she utilized holistic approach (really utilizing the feedback of the muscles / body to find spots of tension or knots) to working with the body and not just massaging at a hard level. I usually leave massages sore and relaxed although I left here not super sore but my muscles and body felt relaxed. I was impressed with Sierra's ability to find the knots or tight spots and to work on them in a way that's wasn't only painful (a few spots were but that's normal). I got a deal on my massage as it was my first one which was extremely affordable and likely started a new little splurge for future me to continue caring for my body in a way which feels productive and healing. Outside of this experience I have also come to Wellspring to do a free yoga class which was extremely helpful in releasing body tension and relaxing. There is also tea and water for customers. Overall, I think that the employees at Wellspring care for their customers and truly want to help. This is shown in how they talk, present, the engagement that's shown, and the hard work they do. I would highly recommend coming here as massages are fairly priced and the employees truly seem to care.

First of all, the massage itself was one of the best I've ever had. Relaxing, for sure. But, more importantly, Heather really worked all the tension and knots out of my muscles. One of those rare therapeutic massages that goes deep enough to address all your issues but still leaves you feeling so good. Secondly, it's the most convenient way to get a massage. I made the appointment via text then I just went home after work and she was there waiting for me (right on time). She brings the whole set up, table, electric blanket, towels, music, oil. She even has this oil dispenser thing attached to her so it feels like she never takes her hands off you the entire time. When it was over, she packs up and leaves and I don't need to make myself presentable or drive anywhere. Already home and relaxed. I'll definitely be a repeat customer!

Her sessions are relaxing, for sure, but she is serious about addressing the pain and discomfort of her clients! She offers the most therapeutic and pleasant deep tissue massage that I've ever experienced and I always feel sooooo much better after seeing her. She is professional, reliable and extremely pleasant. Heather comes to your home, sets up everything and I just have to show up. It is amazing to get such great massage without even leaving my home, especially right after having kids. I highly recommend Heather - you cannot go wrong!
