We had to reschedule once due to my wife's illness but that was handled with nothing but professionalism. My wife enjoyed her massage today ("I liked him in the first five minutes") so much that she believes it's as good or better than massages she's enjoyed while traveling. She simply cannot say enough good things about Denson, his personality and his massage therapy skills. They talked about all sorts of interesting topics and found him a real pleasure. She learned that he played football for the Gophers and earned a degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University and has been a massage therapist for over 17 years. I bought a Groupon to…read moreRipples Message for my husband which was supposed to be a thank you for all his help with our new baby. It ended up being such a headache for him to schedule this service that I feel I need to get him another massage to make up for it. I don't think this business treats customers right. First, the contact (Michelle) does not respond to emails for appointments in a timely fashion. It took Michelle 5 days to respond to my husband's initial request for an appointment. He had to send her a follow-up email just for her to respond. And ultimately it took 14 days (two weeks!) for an appointment to be scheduled. Second, Michelle claims that the delay in scheduling was because my husband's "schedule was so specific". Not only did my husband provide specific dates he was available, he also indicated that he was open every weekday after 5:00 pm, and open all day during weekends. Michelle didn't provide any appointment options for him to choose and again, took two weeks to set an appointment. Third, the day of his appointment Michelle was initially a no-show. My husband arrived at the business and it was closed. Upon my suggestion, he called the provided phone number and left a message. After my husband left he received a call from Michelle claiming "her son was in the hospital" and had "forgotten to write the appointment down", but was willing to come in to do the massage. She arrived at least 30 minutes past the appointment and thankfully the service itself was alright. If I could give zero stars, I would.

The massage itself was fine, but the building and room were both atrocious! Ugly, smelly, noisy, and dirty room, in a seemingly sketchy rundown building. What added to my frustration with Michelle was she kept having new deals on Amazon.com and Crowd Cut (and maybe Groupon, too?), so it's impossible to schedule appointments... Oh, and forget trying to call Ripples Massage Therapy on the phone. Once you initially make you appointment, Michelle will no longer return your phone call! Michelle Renae Figueroa is either strapped for cash or is playing games!

The initial consultation was a lot longer than I anticipated, (but that also could be because I can talk a lot) but it felt so much more in depth, we talked about problem areas, severity, and goals. We came up with a two to three-ish long week care plan, some goals to work toward, and the Dr gave me some things for me to do at home. Walking into the place it's a little intimidating with all the bells and whistles, they've got a lot going on, they do massage and acupuncture as well which I'm excited to try out. I chose this place to try out because they offer all three. I'm happy with the results so far, love that you can text them to set up appointments, the woman who runs the front desk is super friendly and she puts in some extra effort into the little things like adding lemon essential oil to their hand sanitizer so it doesn't smell terrible! (Seriously made me love her) I'm super happy I decided to "shop around" for new chiropractic services.
