The decor, the pre-appt instructions on how to get there, the consultation before starting, it was all so thoughtful. Then I got to know my therapist a bit and Tasha is so amazingly good at this work, I can't say enough to explain how cared for I felt. Many people massage with their hands but rare few massage with such kind attention and total focus on your comfort with every palpable stroke. I didn't notice an elevator, but perhaps I just missed it. Once on that level they have several doors, but you enter the one with the opened door and the little sign out front. Arrival - I arrived early, just in case there were intake forms or I needed to change beforehand. However, they don't have a changing room or lockers. Instead, you change in your service room, with your items remaining there. Service - I booked a 1hr Deep Tissue Massage with Elsa, which was GREAT! The service started with burning something that smelled like Paolo Santo. The areas of pain welcomed the deep pressure, for other areas of my body it was too much. So I told her and she adjusted accordingly. There was music playing, which was a bit loud. However, it was soothing, with no odd pitches or tones so I didn't mind. What I did mind was the distractions from outside the room. Sadly, it was right by the entrance door (for that space) and the walls in the room don't go all the way up. Therefore, sounds of the heavy door opening and closing, people talking, squeaky floors as they walked by filled the air as I tried to immerse into the experience. During the service she did use some warm towels on me, and ended with the paolo santo (or perhaps it was sage) again. Departing- My massage therapist told me to meet her outside after I changed. I thought she meant outside of the service room so hung out in that lounge for a while, before deciding to go look for her, in the main lobby area. That's where I found and she checked me out. This made me wonder if there's a designated front desk/ guest service staff member. Anyway, while checking me out she also gave me a cup of water, her card, a promo card, Biscoff cookies and a mint. There were retail products there as well as in the previous room, but I didn't get a chance to really look before heading out. Anyway, based on my experience with Elsa, I would recommend and return.

Despite…read morehaving different massage therapists, the overall feeling was the same -- a lack of professional depth and attentiveness to the client's needs. Key takeaways: * Inconsistent technique -- sometimes too soft, other times abrupt pressure on sore areas * Lack of energy and genuine care during the session * Odd personal remarks from the therapist that made me uncomfortable For a place with this pricing, I expected a higher level of service. Maybe others have had better luck -- my sister, for one, absolutely loves this place -- but my experience hasn't convinced me to return just yet. Still, I hope to stop by again next time I'm in town and see some improvements.

I was fully exposed for most of the massage, with minimal attempt to keep my groin covered. I'm convinced that he rubbed his genitals on my hand at one point, because there was some back and forth rubbing on my hand that did not feel accidental while he breathed super heavy. The massage itself was not a modality I have ever had before; there was no stroking but instead just pressing and holding for long periods of time which did not do much to relax me or loosen up my tight muscles. I definitely won't be back. My massage was a couple months ago and I delayed in writing this review because I convinced myself it was all in my head, but after reading similar reviews I feel it's important to give my experience a voice so other woman are aware of potential risks.

Needless to say he did not, and I am now filing a dispute charge against him with my credit card company. Do NOT come here, it is not worth your time, money, or stress. Never again.

No worries-I didn't knock the therapist for this. I like relaxation or sports massage. Also, I have pretty clear instructions on the app which building is mine (it's a large, prominent downtown residential apartment building)...so I'm not really interested in hearing about where your GPS took you or your parking woes. It was also my first time trying this particular type of well was treatment so I I have nothing to compare it to. I booked a 90minute float therapy session Good: Made a last minute appointment and was able to get in so I loved that. The front desk staff was nice when welcoming me. They also have a vending machine that sells THC beverages which was nice. They encouraged me to use the bathroom which was very clean and well stocked. Then essentially explained what to expect while in the room and pretty much left me alone. That was nice. The not so good: An even better experience would have been to offer robes before going into the float room or something to get guest more relaxed before going into the tank. Or maybe a glass of cold water. I understand wanting to control water intake but it gets pretty warm in the room and you get thirsty! There was no soap available and you are required to shower before getting into the tub. I didn't realize what was in the shower was shampoo and conditioner because they weren't labeled. They give you a thing to support your head while floating but I think providing goggles or some sort of eye protection would have been epic. Maybe someone more seasoned would have know to bring something but it was my first time. So of course I got salt in my eyes. Very uncomfortable. There was also no sort of lotion for after the session I did ask about it and was told they had a shipment delayed and so they didn't have any of the things you'd expect to be standard at a spa. While I understand. It would have been a good idea to include a care note or something to give a head up. That was disappointing In summary. I didn't have a bad time or a great time. It was just okay. The float therapy itself was good but I think the business missed the mark on the pre and post care for me.
