They are professional, courteous and do a great job on manicures and pedicures. They follow all safety guidelines and provide comfortable surroundings, including a massage chair during pedicures. They are open every day of the week which makes getting appointments very easy. The staff is very friendly and welcoming as well. Worst manicure ever! I had a decent amount of growth on my nails, but some were longer than others. I wanted them as near as possible to be all the same length. The nail tech cut a thumbnail first and asked me if it was ok. I replied, "Too short! Way too short!". Apparently, she wasn't paying attention, because she proceeded to cut the others the same. When she was done she asked, "You want shorter?". It's bad enough that they will be tender for at least another ten days, but they would be bleeding if they were any shorter! This is not the place to go if you have any kind of disability that prohibits you from standing up and walking away (I am in a wheelchair). read more

My first mistake was expecting a good service from this place. Its my first time actually going to a nail salon so I was not prepared for the unprofessional service I was getting. I asked for hard gel nails with a french tip and ended up with acrylic nails with gel polish and french tip which was not a problem for me at all. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I get my gel mani and pedi's here all the time. I was actually shocked to see some of the negative reviews. I've had nothing but positive experiences here. I'd say I'm actually very picky when it comes to my nails. I've worked in the salon industry for over 20 years and make the 20-25 minute drive. My gel polish almost always last 2 weeks plus....usually till it grows out and I have it removed or redone. I would definitely recommend for gel mani and pedi's! read more

Tried them out for a fill and gel polish hoping to love them because they are so close to my house and open 7 days a week. I really enjoyed the lady that did my nails but not so impressed with the final result and the price. $40 for a fill??? My polish is a beautiful lighter color, she put 2 coats on but now after being in real light, you can tell that there should have been 3 coats applied. Also the whole nail isn't covered on may of the nails, steaky polish and you can see through in many spots. Not work the extra $$ from what I usually spend for much better quality. UPDATE - I went back 5 days after getting nails done because almost all of them were peeling. She redid them but guess what, it's 4 days later and they are peeling AGAIN. I will NEVER return. This update has changed my original 2 star review down to a 1 star. I do not recommend at all. read more

Went in for a full Set as a treat to myself. 32$ (for color, nor even French tips) which is pretty pricey. After I handed her two 20's she put it in her drawer. Ok cool, 8$ tip. She didn't do any sort of manicuring beforehand except cutting my nails. Nothing with cuticles, which I did need. My acrylics were extremely thick and once I left I even noticed there was huge hard chunks underneath the nails. Normally they file those out. I chose a neutral white/natural color, the fan mad it wrinkle and look stripey. She should've done another coat. My set didn't even last 2 weeks before nails started popping off. (I have never had that happen) I don't do any sort of hard work with my hands that would cause extra stress on my nails either. Very disappointed that I wasted 40$ at this salon. Yeah, I'm giving this place a 4. Because for a small nail salon they did a great job for $16. I will occasionally get inexpensive manicures if I'm feeling too lazy to do it myself. This place is incredibly friendly and they did a great job. Sometimes the manicurist butchers my cuticles or makes me bleed; but they are so gentle i didn't even feel it and she did an awesome job. You get a little hand massage before they put on the polish and for $16 it is well worth the price. They have acrylic nails there too and pedicure stations but i haven't tired those. it seems like they get a lot of returning customers because the technicians were chatting with customers about their kids like they knew each other. The decor is lacking and the wall by the polish is stained with some of the polish spills, but it is clean and the stations are nice. The salon is located in the top level of the Southdale Mall, by Macy's. If you take the elevator straight up, its right by it. read more

I have been a casual pedicure customer here for years. I always have friendly, gentle service and the facility is clean. It's not ultra fancy but they don't charge ultra fancy prices. Bring cash for a tip, this is an industry-wide thing so the low-paid workers can keep their tips without tax or fear of being audited. Just got a full set of acrylics. It was a little pricey, $50 for a full set, but that's okay. They look good, and there was good service. The only complaints that i have are; 1. i was cut 3 different times while she was using the drill file, and they all started to bleed. 2. i'm not sure if it's just me, but 2 of my nails look a little crooked. Fantastic pedicure!!! But this place only take cash Tips?! WRONG!!! If you expect a tip these days let it be done electronically!!! OR YOU WILL NOT GET A TIP!!! Come on?!?!? My pedicure was great but I never carry cash on me and found out that they only take cash tips I was Modified!!! I could not leave a tip I WANTED TO!!!! But I never carry cash!!! I was able to get in was a walk-in right way, which was nice. The woman who did my pedicure was nice. They have a very slim selection of gel colors, but I always get the same few colors anyways, so that wasn't an issue for me, but I could see how others would have to settle for a color. During the pedicure she did a good job removing my old gel and shaping my nails and the color was applied nicely. But that was the end of my pedicure. She used cuticle oil to spread on my legs and feet and then covered them with a warm towel and then wiped the oil off and told me I was done. The other ladies in the salon, who were clearly regulars as they were chatting and making future appointments, received leg and foot massages while sitting next to me. For $50 it felt like a rip off. Very nice place especially for inside a mall. I have had negative experiences before in mall nail salons whether they seem to rush to get through or it's too noisy and chaotic. I found it to be very relaxing and quiet and my nail technician did a great job! I got just a regular pedicure for $35 and they gave a very nice massage on top of the normal pedicure stuff. I was surprised to hear it was an extra $16 to add a manicure because it seems most places are about $10 extra when you are getting a pedicure on too. I would definitely go back. Worst pedicure I've ever had...and I've had a lot! Salon looked new and mostly clean. Workers were indifferent, rude. My attendant, a man who never introduced himself acted as if I were an imposition on him. He was rough in his technique to which I had to ask twice if he could be more gentle. (and I'm no wimp!) Often holding and picking up my foot by the big toe which was not only painful but also so unprofessional. The clincher was when my friend, also getting a pedi's boyfriend met up with us and was asked to not sit in the pedicure chair next to his girlfriend! I've been going to this nail salon since I was a teenager and I always return whenever I'm in town. All the people working here are very professional and kind and always make sure that you get what you want. They won't make a big deal if you ask them to file a nail a little bit more or if you want an extra coat of polish on your nails. Mary and Kim are very professional and whenever I get acrylics or a gel manicure done, I'm always very happy and my nails last for a good amount of time. The place is clean and they always make sure to take their tools fresh out of the cleaning machine. The prices are fair. They never have old nail polish so my manicures rarely chip and they always make sure that your experience is a comfortable one. They do accept walk-ins but it's best for you to book an appointment in advance. They usually run on time and if they're running late, you never have to wait for more than 10 minutes. read more

I've been coming to this group for 15 years or more. They always do a great job, the owner is friendly and the whole team will take good care of you. They are professional, and provide great service. The value of their service is also great - $16 for a manicure. They recently relocated to second floor, near The Woods/Macys at Southdale and I can't wait to climb into one of their new pedicure chairs. The shop is not loud, unless there's an excited group of customers in the house. I highly recommend you take time to check out this shop and am sure you too will be back for another pampering. Regarding the negative reviews below, I'm sorry you had a bad experience and left disappointed. $35 for a pedicure is pretty average rate. Check the neighborhood, you can pay more than double that and get nothing more - in fact, I had a certificate for a big name salon and used it for a pedi - completely not worth it. I'm sure I was the FIRST pedicure the service provider ever did. Terrible. The Service they provided was okay but since when do these places not scrub the feet? I don't mean for the callouses but for the dead skin? Sheesh! I've had numerous pedicures at various places over the years and Every Place USED to scrub the feet and the lower half of the leg. But all of a sudden most salons stopped doing this. I'd like to know why? It NEVER hurt and it actually felt good. Almost like a massage. Plus they were obviously talking about me in their native tongue! When will these places realize that it is ALWAYS rude to speak in any foreign language in front of a customer? It is also very unprofessional. I'm never going back to this place! I went to go get acrylics by Kim and instead of getting a beautiful set of new acrylics I got a bloody finger, all my fingers sore and a messed up nail. There is a black spot on my white nail. My pedicure was decent, but my experience was lessened by the following: 1) I was assigned the chair at the end, which has clearly been ravaged by overuse. Not a good feeling sitting in a torn up chair with janky side tables. 2) The lady kept calling me "honey." I don't know you, lady. 3) Like others have stated, there is no option to tip using your credit card. I luckily had cash, but it's 2017.... Replace that chair, don't use terms of endearment, and get a legit credit card terminal. read more

I go to the lower elvel, they are much friendlier. The manager on the upper level can be quite unfriendly, rude so I avoid her by going to the lower level. They do a great job and if you have an appointment, they do not make you wait by cramming in a walk in just before the appointment. read more

5 bridemaids went for a manicure and all loved it. I got the basic manicure. Kim was very professional, fast and nice.She helped me select a nail polish color to match my bridesmaid dress and went an extra step of telling me what to do to make the polish last longer.
