Blossom nails is simply okay, I went with a friend after calling ahead for a gel manicure. When we got there the shop was crazy busy and we were separated. I was pretty bummed that despite making an appointment we weren't able to sit next to each other. We were hoping to catch up but didn't have that chance. I showed my tech a photo of what I wanted, a chrome white nail was my goal. They didn't have chrome- which is no big deal, but what they recommended was not at all close and they told me that it would be an extra $15. I passed on what they wanted. My friend was able to get a full set before I was half way down with my gel. I'm pretty sure I counted about 9 layers of polish that went on. My nails were so thick by the end of it, and I had been nicked twice. The blood stayed under the polish for the entire month that I had my nails on. I can't say that I would return. I'm bummed that we were rushed to pick colors, that we didn't get to sit next to each other, that I was nicked, and that my gel took so long. I stopped in to Blossom Nails while on a business trip, based on Yelp reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect when I drove up. It's located in kind of a run down strip mall. When I walked in, the interior wasn't much more impressive. It also is rather run down looking so I was a bit concerned about the service level. No need for me to be concerned. I was a walk in and I waited less than 10 minutes. The owner did my gel manicure and she did a fabulous job. She took her time, was very detailed, and it's obvious she takes great pride in her work. The customers on either side of me were regulars. Both were well-dressed and seemingly rather well-off women who chatted with their nail techs, sharing stories about their lives. Both had been coming to the salon for years. One woman leaned over to me and told me how lucky I was that the owner was doing my nails. The service was average price, around $40 before tip. The owner gave me a 5% discount for paying in cash. All the staff were very friendly and it's clear they have a loyal customer base. Blossom Nails is definitely a case of don't judge a book by its cover. I'd return again without question. read more

Trina is great! I am diabetic and can't trim my own toe nails. Most salons want you to pay for a complete Pedicure, but all I want is a nail trim. They did just that and for cheap too! I will never go any where else, unless they become unavailable permanently.!!! read more

You walk into this modest nail salon at the end of a mildly questionable strip mall - but once you walk in and find the Edina moms with their LV and Gucci handbags ... you know the standards have to be high with the group here. I don't get mani and pedis often, especially being a single mom so my anxiety was high gambling on this place. The ONLY reason I seek one out anymore is ingrown toenails and I can't do French lines all by myself. Tammy went to town on my feet! So happy she got them out because I am a big baby doing it myself. Paint job was solid and the rest of the staff was friendly. I will take a gamble again in 4-6 months when I am looking for my bi-annual treat. Try them out! read more

Staff was able to accommodate a last minute walk in for two people on a busy Saturday morning. Our nail techs were so friendly and welcoming to us Chicagoans! I got dip nails and my daughter got gel nails. In Chicago we ask for "no chip" but apparently that's not a thing in MN haha.. It's the same thing but they just call it gel nails. Prices were very affordable and it seemed like a very welcoming environment. Highly recommend! read more

As a guy, I had never had my nails done. So I was a bit nervous going to a nail shop to have my nails painted. Thankfully I chose the right business for my first time. Diane helped me navigate the whole process and I ended up getting gel color and a manicure. She explained each step of the process and it was all very organized. I was also shocked that the price was lower than I expected. Needless to say I LOVE them. I have been showing them to anyone who will look! I will definitely be back. Dont sleep on Blossom! This place was great! The people were great, the conversation was flowing, it was an all around good experience. They have a decent selection of colors and say they are able to do all of the popular nail designs and enhancements of today. It's not in the most visible or pristine spot of town, but don't let that fool you. My tech was very professional, quick, and did a really good job. All the reviews are true. This place is the best!!! I'm not a regular nail attender so I was looking at multiple places before settling on this one and I'm so happy I chose this place. The staff were friendly. Kim particularly did an amazing job and was lovely to converse with. My SIL and niece really enjoyed themselves too. The nail tech even painted cute little palm trees on my niece's toes that looked absolutely amazing! The place is spacious and doesn't feel cramped like some salons. The staff was great. Ive gone to dozens of nail salons around the twin cities and I've found my favorite. I love it here! I see Trina and she is amazing, we are always talking and laughing. You will want to make an appt, they do take walk ins but appts are much better and less wait! I always have crazy ideas and pics and Trina always does AMAZING! I went during Covid, after they were allowed to open at a 50% capacity. I was very surprised and impressed by how strict they followed guidelines for safety. It's by appointment only via phone. I was able to get same day appointment. The second I walked in, I was greeted and instructed to use hand sanitizer. They took my temperature. Then I had to fill out a consent form saying I am not sick, etc. I giggled a little because it felt like I was signing my life away, but safety first. The place was quiet, with only few customers allowed in at once. They were good at telling people to wait outside if you don't have an appointment. The nail techs also had to go through a barbicide covid-19 certification. Everyone wore masks, to include the customers. Overall, a very good Covid experience. read more

Stopped through the area for a few days and booked this salon based on yelp reviews earlier in the week. I booked a fill and design with Trina because of the pictures people posted with their reviews. She was double booked and asked if her husband, Son, could do my nails. He did an amazing job and even fixed a broken toe nail. I'm pretty particular when it comes to nails and service and they were excellent with both. Absolutely LOVED and HIGHLY recommend Blossom Nails. I've lived in the Edina area for quite sometime and haven't found a nail salon that I loved. However, that changed today! I called last minute, on a Sunday might I add, to see if there was any availability to get a manicure done. They squeezed me in last minute! When I walked in the salon, it was a friendly environment and I immediately felt welcomed. "Son", my nail tech, was patient and considerate when I asked him to measure my nails or what dipping powers was! Son showed me nothing but kindness and patience. i'm new to the area and found this place on yelp, i walked in and they were super busy so they were kind enough to squeeze me in an hour later. i have had trouble in the past with nail techs commenting on how small and awful my nails are so i'm always timid when going to a new place. I had made a joke about how small my nails were in this salon and the woman doing my nails said "don't say that!!! they're beautiful!!" it was such a small gesture but really made me happy. In from out of town and needed an acrylic fill. Took sister-in-law with for a plain manicure. Chose this place based on price, proximity, and price. They were good because they fit us in, but we were a little rushed... So we understand. Charged $30 for an acrylic fill with gel polish. She got regular polish for hers for $14. Mine turned out very good... The shape, thickness, and length were the way I requested. Had to fix some lifting, but the nail tech was very accommodating and cordial when I pointed it out. Hers, the polish took a very long time to dry... Upwards of 2 hours, even for regular polish, which smudged in some places. The place wasn't fancy, but it was very clean. I have been at this Nail Salon 3 times now, for a first set, gel fill and then pedicure. They have made every visit feel great and I love how they do everything. Their acrylic nails are thin (which I love) and have received so many compliments and people believe they are my own natural nails. Vicky does a great job!! I got their deluxe pedicure last night (Spa Pedicure) and they really spend time on your feet. Daniel really knows how to massage the legs and feet without making it uncomfortable and ticklish. I also love that they have the liners they put in the tub to soak your feet in, this just makes it so much cleaner and gives me peace of mind.
