My hair is beautiful and as health as ever, I've been half dirty blonde and virgin for awhile now and it's time for a change and CUT! Affordable and amazing service, what's better than that? Thank you Samantha!

I just want to say that I really like Katie as a person. She's fun and easygoing, and I enjoyed…read morechatting with her as I got my hair done. However, I am very sad that I spent $300 to look worse than I did when I went in. So, I saw Katie's ad for Glamour Beauty on Facebook Marketplace and the pictures she posted (of her clients' hairstyles) were soooo beautiful. I really wanted to do something new with my hair and she seemed very eager to help. Basically, I said she could do what she wanted with my hair with one caveat: I liked to have the sides kinda long toward the front because I like to straighten my hair to make it look "edgy." She said she was going to do a caramel color on my hair and I thought that sounded nice. BTW, I had most of my hair burned off a few years ago at a salon in Omaha; the stylist left the bleach on too long and it fried my hair. I told Katie about this incident because I wanted to make sure this didn't happen again. Anyway, after Katie put the color/bleach on my hair, she said she'd come back and check it in awhile, and my heart started racing. I was scared. After 20 minutes or so, she came back and checked it. She did this about 2 or 3 times. I fell asleep in the chair because it was taking so long and I probably fainted (haha). When she dried and styled my hair, I was facing away from the mirror so I couldn't see how it was looking until it was all over. I could only manage a weak smile. My bangs were just hanging limply at the side of my head. My hair wasn't longer in the front like I wanted. And it was immediately starting to frizz. I thought maybe I just needed to get used to it so I went home. The next day, I woke up and brushed my hair and sooooo much came out. The whole top layer of my hair felt like a brillo pad. I tried all sorts of conditioning treatments to repair it but it's kind of like trying to put the chicken back in the egg, y'know? Even when I washed it, it was all sticking together like a hair net. To her credit, Katie was very willing to help fix the situation. I went back to the salon and she put Kerastase in my hair, and it looked better. But things have progressively been getting worse as the weeks go by. There are sooo many split ends. When I brush my hair, little pieces of hair go flying everywhere. The strands are all random different lengths, like an animal was chewing on my hair or something. Most of the hair around my face has broken off about 2 inches from my scalp. The bottom layer of my hair looks ok (except for one section of hair that is significantly blonder than the rest) but the top is a nightmare, and that's what people see. ANYWAY, I think Katie is talented, but her skills just didn't work for my hair. I think if the haircut had been better, that might have helped. I do appreciate her friendly attitude and professionalism, though.
