First off, I don't do / have my nails done often. They don't last & it's too expensive for such a short time. I have not had good luck with showing them what I want & being happy with the version that they put on my nails. I was SO pleasantly surprised at Turbo Nails in so many ways! The people that work here are happy, smiling & fun. They asked me every step of the way if I'm satisfied before proceeding. The design I wanted & showed a picture of was done better than the picture (that has never happened to me!). I greatly appreciate the care & professionalism of these people & will come again. This place is great! I come here when I am in the area and get the Deluxe 1 pedicure Great place for a guy to relax and get the dogs worked over. Make sure they show you how to fully use the massage chair before you start so you will get that much more needed enjoyment out of the experience. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went there today for Full Set and also got a design. They are very unclear about there pricing and charged way more than previously explained. I had shown them Inspo pics and the design that I received was honestly awful. This design way very simple btw. They ended up cutting my cuticle and when I confronted them about it they just blew it off. I ended up calling afterwards to ask for a refund. When I asked I heard the person on the phone talking to their coworkers and started to laugh at me. They refused the refund and even refused to fix the mistake they had made. If you are looking to get any service done here I would highly advise against it and going somewhere else. There are lots of other nail places in the area that are way more respectful and will give you results that are better than this. I wouldn't wish experience this upon anybody. I have frequented numerous nail spas and turbo nails is the best! I have been coming here off and on for 4 years and when I have had to stray due to location, I regretted it. I never had to wait when I walked in, they are not pushy with selling additional services. And most of all they DO NOT spend their time talking to each other. Other places (not here) ignore you and it feels like they are all talking about you. At turbo nails focus is on YOU! I highly recommend KC!!! I last received the Deluxe 2 pedicure with stone massage and did a gel cat eye pedicure. It was the first time for me doing the stone massage and it was grand! read more

I went to this salon because I couldn't get to my normal nail salon. It appeared to be nice and the staff was friendly. I had nail polish on that needed to be removed. The first thing the staff did was put a bowl filled with a clear liquid in front of me and told me to put my hands in it. I assumed it was just water. I found out later my hands had been soaking in acetone. That might be fine for most people, but I have very sensitive skin. After I had my hands under the lights, my hands and fingers started to burn. When I told the tech., she laughed. When I said, no, really, it hurts, she eventually called the manager over, who found that I had small cuts on my fingers, and should not have been soaking in acetone. The tech said "you should have told me that you have sensitive skin". Well, she should have told me it was acetone! In addition, there was a staff next to my tech who was bored, so she started clipping her own toenails, and then put the nail clipper back on the table to be used again. I also saw the techs take tools from jars that said "dirty" and use them on people (including me!). My nails looked nice, but I won't go back because of the cleanliness concerns. read more

The staff are so friendly and welcoming! The salon is clean and nicely decorated. This is the only place I go for mani-pedi's and I have been for more than a year. Huge color selection, wonderful pedicure chairs, great staff and an all around nice place. read more

This company's presentation is very misleading. Their prices are double that of other nail salons I have used. When you select the style you want there are different price levels, but they to not make this clear. In addition, the person who waited on me was very aggressive in asking for a tip. By the time I was done, I felt like I have been taken advantage of. Make sure you know the price of what they are doing for you. read more

First and last time. Was just there and had the man who works there. Not only was he too rough with twisting my hands, grinding my skin making me bleed and saying only 2 things to me, he whispered that for full set having them a little longer than natural was $5 more!!! We're talking millimeters longer. Also the pressure to get the more expensive gel was so intense I cried. I only had $45 dollars. My nails are thick, chunky and SUPER uneven. I'm so upset. Love this place!! I have the best time with my bestie when I'm here and I get great nails from Mimi and Nu. All the ladies here are fantastic!! I have went to so many different nail salons and they destroyed my nails!! Me and my best friend found this diamond in the rough almost 4 years ago now and my nails have never looked better!!! I don't have to worry about them breaking or chipping. And everytime we walk in we are welcomed with smiles and Hello from all the people there. Very bad experience and would not recommend this salon. I sat waiting for 45 minutes when i had a set appointment and then when i sat down and asked for acrylic nails them simply said no and they wouldn't do it. Then they gave me a manicure that was overpriced with a very bad polish application. There is polish around parts of my fingers and they didn't trim my cuticles. Very upset about not being able to get acrylics like I wanted and even more upset about the unprofessional work done. I would never go back and would give it 0 stars. My daughter and I have gotten excellent manicures here. However, the service at Turbo Nails is unpredictable. Some technicians are fairly friendly but most often than not, they don't speak to us. They speak to each other Or other customers which I find horribly rude. Pedicures are awful. I come out with at least one toenail that is cut too short and at least one area of bleeding every time. I love getting my nails done here. They do excellent quality work, taking their time and paying attention to every detail. I have never been disappointed with my manicure, I have always left with my nails looking fabulous. They also do a paraffin wax and hand massage with lotion, so in addition to my nails looking great, my hands feel and smell wonderful afterwards. I highly recommend this salon and have recommended it to my friends and family as well when they complain about getting less than stellar service at other nail places. Worst experience ever. Extremely dirty and beyond unprofessional. This is one of those places that horror movies are written about. Had gel removed and a basic manicure-the girl acted like I was an inconvenience and had an unprofessional attitude to say the least. The worst? Not using new tools. I have been going to nail salons for a while now and I always seem to come back to Turbo Nails. Their work is predictable- although their service is extremely unpredictable. There are a few technicians who are incredibly rude. Most recently The technician told me my fingernails were yellow- indicating a fungus and asked me why. I responded with "well my nails were just painted a yellow/green so maybe.." then i was cut off for her to make a huge scene about it, only to be assured by another technician that she hadn't removed all the nail polish... Then when she was filing my nails the technician was not paying attention while talking to another customer and sliced my finger open with a nail file- and tried to cover it up. When i said "omg ow" and pulled away, she looked at it and pinched it and asked me to wash my hands for her. I did and returned to finish where she had the gall to tell me to relax my fingers and not watch her work because it makes my fingers hard to work with. I made my decision at that point not to tip- which I always do regardless of work, but this was about service and how i was treated. She then proceeded to talk to her coworkers and when I thought she was talking to me, she snapped and said "no I'm not talking to you, I'm talking to my friend". When I paid, I was pressured to tip. Safe to say I will not be returning and I urge others to be cautious. read more

I have been going to Turbo Nails for several years and have always gotten good service. On my visit last week the the technician was very disinterested, and a pedi that usually takes 45 minutes was done in 15. Not the relaxing, pampered service I have usually gotten there. No scrubbing, or nail trimming. Very unsatisfied and probably will not go back. read more

The experience is very dependent on your nail technician. If you find one you like, I would suggest making an appointment. One bonus is that I've rarely had to wait without an appointment. read more
