Love this nail salon. Usually busy so make a reservation, since they have been open maybe got to walk in and get an appointment once. Love the ambiance, soothing brown tones, fish tank, great leather massage chairs, clean, friendly people, great nail colors, quality pedicure. I upgraded to a gel pedicure with salt scrub leg massage for 50. My sister did the same, though no gel for 35. Great prices, any pedicure service with gel is an added 15 dollars. I used to love this place. I was a regular and the only person I liked doing my nails is David, I haven't really had any great experiences with the ladies. Recently it seems more pushy and rushed. I honestly hate getting pedis from here now. They can be a little aggressive and "miss some steps in the pedi you're paying for" so make sure you're paying attention it's happened more than once with different people. Last time I came in it was very messy. It also seems like the price keeps rising, I understand the last couple of rough years... but luckily I've found a new place that takes their time, puts more art into their work, better priced, and seems to talk less shit in front of your face. This is hands down my favorite nail salon in the cities. Even after moving across town I still come back to nails and spa after trying other places. The staff is friendly and usually remembers the clients. I typically get gel manicures and they always last two weeks, no cracking or discoloration (I've experienced that at other places) the salon was recently remodeled and the pedi chairs are very nice. I will never go back to this salon. The technician I had was rough and not very personable. She cut one of my toes and couldn't get it to stop bleeding. When I complained that it hurt she replied that she had cut my other foot as well. She said I needed a design and put a large flower on each big toe. I told her I didn't really like it but there was no response. When I went to pay I was charged for the design and when I mentioned my cut foot there was no response from the manager. I really liked this salon. Its relatively new (less than a year) since opening so I hope they make it. The music is calming, the stations are very comfy, they offer you water, and its a comfortable setting. A fill is a great price at $17 and my girl did an excellent job! She was pleasant and she spoke good English. They did not have that annoying banter going on between the techs like you get at some nail salons. I also had an amazing pedicure. The girl took her time, explained to me they do not use the "cheese grater" callous removers but she did an excellent job with the sandpaper block and my feet feel baby smooth. The massage you can add on for the medium level pedicure was amazing! I highly recommend it for $5 extra. They also use the hot stones which I love! The owners were present and seemed very helpful. I came here to get my nails done for prom. I payed $95 ($85 and a $10 tip) for a gel pedicure and gel acrylics. A woman did my toes and it was lovely they look amazing. David did my nails and he did a very rushed and aggressive job. I thought they looked fine though. The next day layers of the gel coats started peeling off. I assume this is because he did not allow the layers to dry properly before putting on more polish. 5 days after I recover my manicure, the thumb nail has broken off, three nails are peeling, and I am very upset. $45 down the drain. read more

Hit or miss. My daughter and came here for a gel manicure for a girl's weekend. We started near our appointment time and they lamented we couldn't sit together but we were okay with it. I got started first, and my daughter sat in the row behind me so I couldn't see her. The lady who I had was very kind and I felt comfortable with her. This was the first time I've ever had gels and I felt they turned out really well. My daughter was done a few minutes before me and I noticed they had her go to the sink and wash her hands. I met her at the register and 5 of her 10 cuticles were actually bloody. She said the man who worked on her used liquid bandaid on her but her one finger wouldn't stop bleeding. This concerned me because of cross-contamination and how unacceptable it is that someone could be so damaging. There were three men doing manicures that day. I got a pedicure in June 2020 and had my toenail polish on for 2 months. When I took my toenail polish off I had this mark on my toe. I'm not necessarily saying it's from the salon, but I never get my nails done and I've never had this problem before. I'm pretty sure this is a fungus which would mean that they aren't sanitizing their items correctly. I've tried this place 3 times now and I won't give them another chance. They have "walk ins welcome" on their door and the first time I walked in I was turned away because I didn't have an appointment. Chairs and nail tables were empty so you think they would be happy for business. The second time I went I was able to get in after a short wait and the service was decent but nothing spectacular. The 3rd time I took my daughter in for 2 pedicures and 2 gel manicures and again open chairs and tables, asked again "if I had an appointment" and was asked to come back in an hour and a half. They seemed exceptionally annoyed as well. I do not have a problem with a wait but if you offer and advertise "walk ins welcome" then welcome them and stop turning people away or change your business model to"by appointment only" and/or staff your business to accommodate what you advertise!!! read more
