Came in for a pedicure with a bridal party. I had booked our bridal party appointments 4 months ago because we were on a tight schedule but left 2.5 hour to get our services done. We had appointments at 1PM and arrived promptly. Our bride waited over an hour for someone to even get started on her mani pedi and was ultimately rushed through her pedicure in like 15 minutes. We were charged the full amount despite sloppy work that, in my opinion, was greatly overpriced. Another bridal party even came in for appointments after ours and they were still taking a servicing walk-ins before us. I wish they would be considerate of timing as it should never take almost three hours for four people to be serviced when they had close to 10 employees. Even at the end, my polish was rushed and I need to get my toe nails redone after the wedding because they're clumpy and sloppy. Some of my toes are missing half the polish, and those painted were lumpy and sloppily applied. They didn't clean up the cuticles and I was left overall very unhappy. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, they were super busy and clearly didn't know how to prioritise appointments. Luckily, our bride was taken care of with manicure and a pedicure just in time, but the rest of our party was left extremely disappointed. After the wedding I'm just going to have to redo it. It's a nice place, and the staff are nice, but I can't say it's the best set of nails I've ever gotten. I needed some acrylics for an upcoming trip, so I decided to go with lovely nails after a friend recommended. Unfortunately, I didn't speak up for myself so you can take this review with a grain of salt. All my friends said the nails look fine too so I might just be picky. But anyway, I felt the nails were very bubble-like and not filed down (in thickness at the base) to look natural. Additionally, there are streaks of white where she used remove to refine the shape of the French tip. It was off to a bad start because she didn't even have me wash my hands before she got to work & she didn't push my cuticles back either. These pictures are literally ONE DAY old and they look a week grown out. I should've said something but they were already past closing time (and yes my appointment was pre-booked). Lastly, I was told it was $50 for a full set but then surprised by a total of $67 when she gave me the final bill (before tip). This has been my nail salon for 6+years. The past 6 months or so have been very different from when I first began going there back in 2015. The manager, who used to be friendly, is now rude and uncaring. rarely a smile or a welcome. She just says "Go wash your hands." before the door even closes behind you. She required masks far too long....far beyond the state mandate and claimed it was still required. The staff seems pressured and unhappy. However, a couple of the original pedicure techs are still very friendly. I complained about a poor job recently, (the first time ever) and Instead of asking what could be improved, she blamed me. I've been going to lovely nails for a while, and I will never go again. Firstly, there are only a couple of technicians that do a nice job. There are a lot that do an awful job. But the part I am incredibly frustrated by is when you have an appointment, you still wait 30 to 60 minutes, which is absolutely ridiculous if you have an appointment. I went there twice in one day. They listened to what I wanted and made my short natural nails look terrific without telling me I HAD to have tips. The pedicure was luxurious with a LONG leg massage. It's a lively shop but no loud music or movie playing. At first I was taken aback by this but quickly realized how calming and welcoming this is to the experience. I have my usual haunts for nail maintenance. This time I had to go out of my way a bit, but it turned out great! I walked in and was promptly greeted. I inquired about the price of a basic pedicure ($25) and an acrylic fill with gel nail polish (Approximately $26, although I believe that was a combined deal because I got a pedicure) - and they did a fantastic job. I felt comfortable and welcomed, and my pedicure was done first. The nail tech doing my toes offered me tea, coffee, water or soda prior to my pedi. After doing a meticulous job on my toenails (it had been a few months since my last pedi), she expertly applied the nail polish and I was promptly seated for my fill and polish. The woman doing my fingernails was very attentive and quick. Even when I bumped my gel polish on the dryer (oops!) she fixed it and didn't bawk at my clumsiness. She asked my name, told me to try the upgraded pedicure next time I came in, and sent me on my way with a fab new fill! I will definitely be going back next time I need my nails done! read more

Horrible experience with Ruby. She left out cleaning my cuticles. She placed the artificial nails on and it wouldn't stick firmly so she literally ripped out the artificial nail like I did something wrong to her. She filed my nail and cut my skin, but repeatedly went over the same area when I told her she cut had me. Never brushed off access from buffing and shaping process she just went straight to polishing. I Found a speck on one of my nail and asked nicely if she could remove it and she responds " oh is okay, is a sparkle". Wtf. I didn't ask for sparkles!!! I asked if she could look at my thumb cause the nail she placed looked crooked and she said "oh your nail crooked". Overall, she acted like I was a bother to her. I also have to say they do not sanitize the nail area. The little pouch they use for customers to rest their arms on was nasty. Never going back. I went here twice to get my nails done. The first time my nails were not the same in length. The second time I went in for an acrylic fill and i had asked for a simple design and was turned down. The price of my nails were still 60$ even tho they couldn't even try to do the simple design I had asked for. The day after I got my nails done i changed my sons diaper and my nails were so thin it just broke right in half. Update: business got ahold of me and offered to redo nails for free. They look much better now! Had a nice talk with the manager Ashley and feel comfortable to return to get my nails done now. Truly care about what the customer wants. Appreciate the effort! Called about an hour before arrival to have an appointment at 2:30 for 3 pedi (one child) & 1 gel mani and they said they could take us. It was already busy when we got there, every staff was with someone. Sat around for about 25 mins until slowly got service to each of us as staff started finishing up with other ladies. The lady I had convinced me to try the dip polish on my nails (I was the gel mani) and said it would be more ($37 instead of $30 for gel), but asked if I just wanted the polish. Why should it still be the full price if I just got the polish and not the full mani experience? Rip off in my opinion if they aren't doing the standard way. I said sure because it was even more crazy busy and just wanted to leave and she was nice. She said she was the manger even so super disappointing. She ended making 3 of my fingers bleed at the cuticle area from speedy and harshness of using the machine to smooth the nail. Then the polish was speckled, not clear color. She clearly just speed up the entire process to get over with me to someone else. She clearly saw 3 of my nails bleeding and the horrible speckled polish and chose to not say anything. So rude and not happy but wasn't going to say anything to cause a scene, just won't be coming back. Wasn't even gonna leave this bad review because I usually get it, but it really made me upset. Pretty fantastic nail shop. Silvia is amazing and great at what she does. Must make an appointment if you want to see her. Dip nails are great here but I've had good experiences with all of their services. They're quite pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. Once I went to someone other than Silvia, an older lady, and my dip manicure didn't last as long and my nails broke so I'll definitely ensure that I make my appointments with Silvia each time.
