I got a full set of nails done here before my trip to Disney World, and it has become my new regular nail spot in the area we've recently moved to. I was very satisfied with the quality and price of the service! The one thing bringing this review down is that the specific combo of fluorescent and string lights in the salon is definitely headache-inducing, and can be hard to get over. However - I loved my nails and do return here regularly!
I was grateful to call ahead and get in the same day for a gel nail fill. The mail tech seemed friendly and the salon was quite busy with other patrons. I requested a coffin shape but received a tapered square tip which was what shape my nails were in before the fill. I chose a nude color and requested a thin white line across the tip. The total in the end was 65.00. I didn't think about the total in the moment as I was in a rush. After leaving the shop I thought more about it and thought 65.00 was extremely expensive for a fill and basic design. I called the shop to inquire about the pricing. The person on the phone told me a gel fill was 35.00 and simple designs were 5.00. I told him I had been overcharged yesterday and he proceeded to tell me that the design I received was 25.00. How is it possible that a simple design on short nails could cost 25.00-30.00!? The person on the phone just said "I'm sorry" and didn't even off a discount for a future service. I will not support businesses that hustle and up charge. My word of advice is to always clarify the price before you begin the service. It is poor customer service to overcharge. See the results for yourself in my attached picture. A gel fill with a basic design should not cost 65.00 at a basic nail salon.
Honestly I'm amazed at what happened at this place. I looked at the reviews and everything before I called to see if that had time for a soak off and a new acrylic set. They said they did have time and that they were able to do that. So I showed up about a half hour later and when I got there, there was almost no one there which should of been the first red flag, next they handed me there color book to choose my color and they had 3 small books which was okay other than there back wall was covered in colors and they couldn't figure out where one of the colors was that I wanted. So they sat me down at a station and went and got a lady from the back and she came and did my nails however they WERE NOT soaked off at all. They cut the tips off which is normal for when I've had them soaked off, but then preceded to cut them the other direction as well, then brought out a fake plastic nail extension that you put on and preceded to slide it under the false acrylic I had off and pop them off. I just spent 2 years healing my nails from a different salon that ruined them and now I'm afraid of what will happen to my nails now because that's not the only thing that they did wrong it was completely unsanitary. While doing my nails she only had one glove on and proceeded to cut my cuticles to where a few of them bleed. When she brought out her tools you could tell that they were still dirty or completely uncleaned. While putting new nails on my off my nails before coming was barely hanging onto my natural nail, she had cut it down slightly but not to where it had broken off and decided to stick a drab of glue on the nail where it was broke at and then place another nail on top off it which I can still feel where it's flexing and broken at, plus the products she used you can't see a label on it and there was stuff in the monomer that she was using. Then when shaping and filing my nails she preceded to file my cuticles again causing a few more spots to bleed as well as leaving my nails with weird bumps on them. While buffing and sanding my nails she took out one of the orange prose buff stick to use on my nails as well as a file, from I didn't see where, but could clearly tell that they had been used before me, as well as the sanding bit that she used on the acrylic which I know is done in a few places but is against what there taught from the board. The ONLY thing she did decently was putting the layers of color on before my design, however her dust brush was extremely sharp and hurtful as well as just leaving more dust and partials on rather than taking them off. When she went to do the small design on my hands I was "relieved" to see her taking the tools out of a box that said clean, however after I am see that there is particles and nail pieces in the box. When painting the design on my nails she used what looked to be an ingrown nail remover and a mechanical pencil to do the design, and placed the paint directly onto the table surface which had only been whipped down with her nail brush and ungloved hand, and something that made it worse is I don't know if that table was even properly whipped down before or after I got there, that along I probably should have walked out of there a long time ago however I am non-confrontational. She barely said a thing to me other than asking me what I wanted or if I liked my nails, but was constantly talking to someone else working there but because of the language barrier could never know what they were talking about. Then before going to put cuticle oil on my nails she was pushing a small piece of broken paper towel, then pulled out a bottle that said cuticle softener but above it had oil in sharpie written on It before placing it back in the drawer and grabbing a small tiny bottle out of her rolling cart and I couldn't see the label other than it being orange and used that on my nails instead. When checking out I was told that my entire service was $70 which they have no signs anywhere telling you what the prices are so they could be charging you whatever they want. I payed, and left completely disappoint and worried about my nails becoming infected and afraid to scratch or itch my face. I will be going to a different salon to have these soaked off and hope that my nails are not ruined again or infected but the experience here was horrible and I recommend that nobody go here, and I will be coming/going to get my money back because this is completely unacceptable and outrageous that I allowed myself to leave without confronting someone however I believe it the best decision because I will also be making a report with the board of cosmetology. Because I left with my nails feeling like crap and now hurting, and then after a few times after touching my face I now can't stop itching or feeling as if I am going to break out or get some type of infection. I also have videos and pictures of how bad my nails look and how badly they are cut up.
I've been looking for a nail salon that's closer to where I live for when my friend is unavailable to go with me (we usually go to a place near her) and I'm so glad I found this place. I'm a habitual nail biter (on again off again recovery, lol) and my nails were stubs with terrible skin around. They were able to get me in the same day I called and my nail tech (I think her name might have been Tracy? I feel terrible for not remembering) was very personable and amazing at her application; she got some tips on all my nails very quickly and did a perfect job with the dip powder. I will definitely come here again the next time I need a nail update.
Walked in on a Saturday afternoon and had a couple people take care of us right away. Came for gel mani and pedi, which was total $90 with the deluxe spa pedicure treatment ($45). That came with extra goodies and extra massage. Hai was great - he was really sweet and had great attention to detail. Would definitely recommend.
This is one of the best nail salons I have been to. The service here is great, they greet you at the door and help you right away. When I sat down I was asked if I needed anything to faint, such a nice thing to ask. I got acrylics when I went. I showed him a picture I found online and he matched it perfectly. The experience was so enjoyable. This was my first time being here and I will defiantly come back. Also make sure you bring some cash for a tip! They do not accept tips in Visa/Credit cards.

The rest had mani pedis and they loved theirs. I would definitely recommend this place and go here again. They have a lot of their nail art displayed and have a ton of variety, which is rare at the salons I've been to in the past.
Overall good experience. Was able to get right in as walk in..technician was attentive offered me something to drink right away...total customer service experience. The design I asked for was a tad complicated so the manager jumped in at the end to help out to make sure that I left with what I wanted. Will definitely get my business again. Thumbs up.

My nails were great but they were expensive! I went in there for a fill and left with $50 nails. I'm not gonna use this as my daily salon but when I need something fancy or really good I will definitely come here. Nathan did an amazing job! read more

This place is amazing! I went in for a manicure and ended up with a pedicure as well. Never had a pedicure before and it was awesome! Tracy did an excellent job and I felt so much better. I would highly recommend this shop and it seems that all of the staff are fabulous. Thank you guys so much! read more

I have been to several nail salons throughout the Twin Cities, and I must say this has been one of the best salons I've been to! I was able to make my appointment on Yelp and corresponded with Nathan in getting my appointment set up. To be honest I was kind of expecting to have to wait once I got there. But lo and behold they were ready for me at my scheduled appointment time. The technician, Tina, did an awesome job on my manicure and dip nails. I felt like she took her time and wasn't rushed with it. The salon was clean and the technicians were very friendly! Although I live in St Paul and the shop is in White Bear Lake, I will definitely be back to this nail salon for future manicures! PLEASE keep up the great service!!!! read more

My first time going today. I would have gave them a 5 star had it been the service was better. I was about 20 min early for my appointment but but I also didn't start on time. It was the longest wait ever and I kept being told to "hold on 5 min". He got up several times to assist, Go to the back or outside, take payments, answer phones and everything else that it took almost 1.5 hours to do a simple fullset and design. As many bodies that were in there, they could have stepped in too. Several people called and walked in after me and ended up leaving after such a long wait. Nathan is talented and is a perfectionist so I love the work he did which is what would bring me back but they need to do better with overbooking and servicing clients.
