She listens to you, she is a perfectionist, she is thorough and she's just the best at what she does. I went in there with a ombre/balayage. It was growing out and looking a little brassy. I asked for a cut that would fit my lifestyle: mom, no time in the morning to get ready and easy to style. I also asked for a balayage that would look natural and grow out to look naturally too. I don't have time to go to the salon every 2-3 months like my younger days. Sarah gave me the most beautiful color. When you go close up to my hair, the colors blend together like boyz 2 men singing a harmony. It was insane! The person who did my balayage before, did a good job, but Sarah did a perfect job. She gave me a cut that compliment my face and lifestyle. I walked out of the salon that day feeling like a million bucks. Not to mention I got stopped so many times by people, telling me how they love my hair and that I looked like a famous person (but thats another story). Talk didn't seem force, it flowed naturally. She's funny and extremely friendly. I would recommend her. I already told my friends to go see her. Her prices are reasonable. I just love her!!! In the North oaks neighborhood just across the way from Kowolski's market is a little strip mall just loaded with tons of really awesome little shops. One of which just so happens to be this cute and trendy Aveda salon by the name of hair on Earth. Parking was easy enough as I was able to locate a spot in the ample parking lot, and didn't have far to walk into the salon. I went on a super busy Saturday right before the Christmas holiday, and even with the hustle and bustle, I was greeted warmly and was offered a cup of coffee/tea. While I waited for my stylist, Sarah, I checked out the super huge selection of Aveda and Amika products as well as some of the boutique-ish kind of products like hats, scarves, wallets and I think I spotted jewelry and soap. Nice selection of stuff, but I didn't have all that much time to browse as my stylist found me almost right away. Sarah is FANTASTIC! - I went in for a color and a trim. She helped me determine the best color for me with the ideas that I had. The longest part of any color job is the foiling and while she worked, Sarah explained some of the other hair coloring services offered and educated me on what she offers and what the salon sells. Service took a little longer than expected, but my hair wasn't taking the color mix as well as we though, and Sarah made sure that I was happy with the color and the cut before I left. Sarah was a fantastic stylist, and I am a fan! I walked out paying more than I expected, but I feel it was worth it. Totally recommend this place for the services and the stylists. I don't look as tired with them on. I was happy my girl, Gina was able to fit me in her schedule on a recent visit to Minnesota. She does a phenomenal job. I highly recommend Gina and this salon if you need lashes, hair care, pedicures or manicures. Gina's salon is clean and beautiful. They screen each guest prior to each service to prevent the spread of the virus and I'm happy to see the level of precautions being taken. So if you are looking for a fab salon, look no further!

She's always trying to stay up to date on trends. Finding someone who knows their way around curls (cutting and coloring curl clumps) is rare and she is fantastic.
