I was able to get in right away without an appointment. The gel polish started wrinkling/scratching the next day. The salon has a bit of clutter throughout the place. They don't warm the towels. A staff was sleeping in a pedi chair. When I got to the sink next to the sleeping staff, there was a used brush in the bottom of the sink. The TV was playing Dr. Phil welcome was talking about how a girl's best friend is now dating her dad. Drama. I enjoy going to get my nails done and relax--no mellow or any music playing. I asked about the rewards system for customers, and I was told they don't do that. They use to when they first opened, but she said they don't need to do that anymore because they have been open for many years. That is sad. The customers aren't rewarded for their loyalty or birthdays. Thank God DSW doesn't think they need to pull rewards since they have been open for a while. read more

I got a dip from Kimmy (on her birthday -- we sung to her) and it's great. My nails are a little short compared to what I walked in with but they're even now. I have done glow-in-the-dark rainbow before but they've never glowed like this brand that Sassy has. I love them!! I don't live near VH but I'd come back here if I needed GITD nails. read more

I decided to go back to this location and see if they could fix it. They welcomed me and apologized for the issue. Protect your nails and do not go here! I went in to get my acrylic set taken off. Instead of using acetone she took another acrylic nail.... and pried it under my nails to rip them off. When I winced with pain it seemed like she just laughed and kept going. My nails are now paper thin and jagged. read more

I made an appointment to get a French tip done and they're probably the worst nails I've ever had. The station I sat at (both times) were not sanitized prior and my nail tech pushed everything to the side and started working. The nails are very chunky, the tips are uneven/streaked and there's left over nail polish and dirt stuck under my nails. I paid $50 for this set, not including what I paid for the tip, and I am very dissatisfied with the result for how much I paid. read more

I've been getting my nails done for 10+ years and this is the first time I was disappointed! The nail tech cut my skin open on three fingers and didn't apologize when I asked if she had something to kill the bacteria she ignored me. I then had to hear her complain about the lack of staff she had but she didn't once ask me how my day was. My nails look like a joke! I ended up spending $90 (I don't even want to show my toes to embarrassed) on a raggedy job. I will never recommend this place to anyone. This is a pretty decent nail place. For starters- I love that they wear a uniform, seems classy and professional. There is always a lot of staff working, and they are always busy so that speaks for itself. However, sometimes if you don't have an appointment you can get turned away. I have had many pedicures and a few sets here and it's my go to place. They have tons of variety as far as color and also for gel and dip powder. They have very talented artists if you're looking for detailed work, just know that it costs extra, which is to be expected. It could be a little be cleaner, but they do sanitize and wash and clean out each pedicure station. Not sure if they use new emery boards or buffer blocks with each client. Overall I like this place. They do have a few wonderful nail technicians; however, I have had one too many bad experiences to return. My husband made an appointment for me for our anniversary and pre-paid (including tip unfortunately) for my gel manicure and pedicure.. I was pregnant so he surprised me with that along w/plans for us to have dinner and stay at a hotel. When I arrived on time they ran water for my pedicure and I waited 50 minutes past my appointment, sat in cold water. No apologies. We were late for our anniversary dinner reservations. The photos are from my most recent experience. The nail technician used a tool to peel off my previous gel nail polish...without soaking them-damaging my actual nails. When I pulled my hand away and asked her to stop she couldn't understand me. I said isn't this bad for my nails? She said "yes" laughed uncomfortably & continued. She also did not take my previous gel off fully, did not use the clear gel over my full nail prior to putting on the gel color (clearly missing the right edge of my nail), and also put a coat of clear regular nail polish on before she applied the clear gel nail polish and color gel polish.. I have not seen that done before. My nails have bumps in some spots (clumps of uneven polish) of the gel, some gel polish overlapping on my cuticle, and some look scratched/scraped like the brushstrokes are showing. read more

Had a mani pedi today at Sassy Nails the pedi was okay but disappointed in the finished product on the mani. The polish isn't completely covering the nail and that is not a satisfactory manicure. The young nail tech was a lovely person and I believe she was just learning so I am sending this for learning purposes. The process they used for removing gel polish was to soak my entire finger in acetone and continue to scrape...and scrape.....and scrape. My nails are now paper thin and completely damaged. The space was also quite dirty. I will not return. read more

This place is a great salon to get a mani/pedi. They are always busy so make an appt if you can. They have massage chairs for you to sit in while you get a pedicure. My coworkers and I were able to schedule a girls night where we brought snacks and wine to the salon and enjoyed mani/pedis. It was fabulous. Their staff does quality work and they make no bones about scrubbing their pedi tubs and tools clean in between clients. Great place!! read more

I was disappointed because my dip manicure took an hour and a half, there are smudges on them, and while doing my nails , my nail lady answered a FaceTime call where she proceeded to have a whole conversation with someone while doing my nails. The first few times I went here was decent but the last 2 times was pretty terrible. The time before last, I paid for an upgraded pkg but I barely even dipped my feet in the foot soak before she started working on them. She was filing them when they were completely dry and I got no massage or hot towel even though the pkg included them. The last time, the woman doing my pedicure was on a personal phone call half the time and would just randomly stop and start massaging, then get up and walk away for awhile. I absolutely love this place! They do a great job, take their time on your nails, yet work efficiently. There are always plenty of manicurists available, so I've had my nails done by at least five different people and I have never been disappointed. The prices aren't too high and I believe I get what I pay for each time! My favorite is the gel manicure because when I get it done here it actually does last for about three full weeks making my life much simpler!! I always leave feeling pampered and like a whole new woman. On visits when I have time to spare, I opt for the mani/pedi combination. The standard pedicures they give here are top notch!! I love the sea salt scrub they use and they give the best massages. It's so relaxing to sit there and either chat with the very friendly women and men or to pick up a magazine and read. They always seem to have the last issues of Cosmo and People magazine, so it's the perfect time for me to read up on some ridiculous romance tips and catch up on all those juicy celeb scandals!! This is the best, most affordable nail salon I've been to in the area for sure. And they even take American Express, so no need to stress about having cash on hand. read more

I made an appointment for a manicure/pedicure. The salon was very busy, but they started my pedi right away(she was good)! I am assuming it was the owner of the salon that came to get me to do my mani, as it was expremely busy at that time. Long story short, she couldnt find the color I wanted for my Dip manicure, so I had to change my color 3 times. She stepped away from me at least 3 times, saying how sorry she was. She actually provided a service to 2 other customers while I waited. Finally sat down with me and immediately began prepping my nails for Dip. No manicure, cutical removal, lotion, etc......On top of that, she did a horrible job! Too thick, and a couple of times used her finger nail to push back my cutical, which was very painful(no consideration to my comfort at all!). She finished and I couldn't wait to get out of there. In addition, she double charged my credit card for the tip! I left a review as they requested. By bank is now disputing the addional charge for me. Find a different Salon! read more
