I have had my fair share of nail salons over the years, and I always notice the same things: the skill of the nail tech, the cleanliness of the place, how friendly and welcoming the staff are, and how well they actually listen. Most places I have been to have had some of that. A talented tech here, a cute space there, friendly staff somewhere else. But I had never found a place that had it all. Hollywood Nails is that place. The moment I walked in, Bella the owner made me feel seen, welcomed, and warmly greeted. Like any salon they did run a little behind due to the services and high demands especially when summer is around the corner, but they communicated the whole time and made sure my daughter and I still felt like our time mattered. The space is smaller than most places I have been, but do not underestimate it. Every corner, every bit of decor, and all of the organization was thoughtfully done. You can tell the owner and her staff put care into making sure every customer, young or old, feels looked after. I had the Pearl Jelly Spa Pedicure with a nail tech named Mya. She was knowledgeable, talented, and really took the time to hear what I wanted. Even mid-pedicure, she made sure the customer near her still felt seen and cared for. My daughter had a gel manicure with Bella and absolutely loved her experience. She loved her nails, but even more she loved her time with Bella, who treated her as an equal and not just a kid who did not know what she wanted. 100% recommend this place. read more

Don't let the bad reviews fool you, Hollywood nails is the best! As of April 2024 they are under new management, so the 1 star review from years previous are not reflective of the current staff. Bella & her team are the best, kind, thoughtful and always willing to bring your ideas to life. I have been doing gel manicures every three weeks for the last six months, and have had nothing but good experiences. I came in with serious damage from some press ons and Bella has done a great job bringing my nails back to life so they are natural and healthy! She even takes these cute pics for me when a set goes extra well :) The salon is always clean, welcoming and decked out in decor for whatever season we're in. I've been here twice and each experience was great. First off, the large parking lot is vey helpful and eliminates a lot of stress for me. Secondly, I have never had issues making same day appointments. My favorite nail technician is "Young"! She is an absolute doll, overly friendly, kind and has a helping soul as she told me she enjoys taking care of all the hard working humans. Young will always offer up drinks to all of her customers which is so sweet. Since the Hollywood Deluxe pedicure is $65, I usually treat myself bi-monthly and adore the full process. Feet are wrapped in plastic bags with a gentle exfoliant mold and while the feet are in the bag, a hot stone is rubbed against the calves. I called ahead to figure out if I needed an appointment for a gel manicure. The staff member I spoke to was very friendly and explained that while they accept walk-ins, she'd suggest making an appointment to avoid a longer wait time. I was able to get an appointment for the next morning, which was great. This business is located in a strip mall with plenty of lot parking. I was the first appointment of the day, and they were ready for me! My nail tech was very nice and detail-oriented. The space was clean and comfortable. My gel manicure wasn't anything fancy, but that's exactly what I wanted. It lasted almost three weeks with no chipping. read more

The operators spoke to each other constantly in their native language (which I didn't understand) and didn't pay attention to what they were doing to my toes. I do not recommend this nail salon and believe that the ONLY reason they are open is due to location and the demographic surrounding that location. .. The nail techs do not wash their hands before, after, nor in-between customers; Nor do they require that customers wash their hands prior to service, like the majority of nail salons. The nail techs are rude and callous! While using the electric tool to remove the acrylic from my nails, the material was literally flying into my face and down my shirt and the tech could care less! I can tell that a couple of the techs are great at what they do but I was disappointed with the service. The tech who did my nails rushed through and made the gel way too thick on some nails and didn't cover my full nail bed. I had to ask her to fix them a couple of times and eventually redo them because I didn't like the way the color turned out. She didn't clean my nails up at the end. Coffin shaped which ended up being too narrow I told her from the beginning how some nails were crooked and she said it'll be fine was she applied the acrylic (which I told her I wanted dip from the start ) I told her they were ugly and I didn't like them at the end and asked if I can come in the next day to get them removed and redone by someone else. Went there about two weeks ago, for a full set of nails. Looked pretty at the end, but the nail tech took two hours to do and had to have another person help. They sanded all my nail beds down so low that they got infected, and what nails I haven't managed to take off are ripping my real nails off from the nail bed. I have to take antibiotics because they got infected from that. Would never go there again. read more

I stopped in here on a whim, since I was in the area and wanted to get my nails done before a trip. I walked right in (weekday around lunch time) and was seen immediately. The technicians were all very friendly and nice, and it was clear the other customers were regulars as they were all chatting comfortably. I got a mani pedi, and both look great!!! Linda did an excellent job ensuring they looked perfect. The only reason I gave them 5 stars is that the ambiance is dated and they don't have matching gel and regular polish color sets (what I like to use). My fingers and toes are different shades of the same color (& pretty noticeable, despite me asking to match colors). I did some googling and landed on Hollywood Nails based off some reviews I saw on google. Although Yelp's rating for this salon aren't that great, I completely disagree. The two ladies there were both super friendly and helpful. I had a hard time choosing my nail colors and they were more than happy to paint one nail and then let me decide if I wanted to keep it or switch to my other option. I've been seeing Kym for over 10 years, she is awesome at pedicures and brow waxing. This new staff isn't as friendly. Prices have gone up where it's not worth my drive anymore as there are so many with same prices nearby. Ruby tries to push other products on you as your headed out the door. ‍ I made an appt to have with now part time Kym and someone else did my pedi. She was rough with leg massage and gel polish didn't look as nice as when Kym does it and they now charge you extra for massage chair. I was trying to be flexible but that was awful. Okay. So this place is great, excellent, wonderful. My mother and I have been going there for years to get our eye browns done. I have never left dissatisfied. On one occasion I needed a polish change on my toes and ended up with a mini pedicure for $12.
