I don't normally take the time to write reviews, but we love luxury nails and I had the best pedicure yesterday, so here I am! I booked last minute pedi appointments for myself and 3 others. Even tho they have online booking, I found it easier to call for booking multiple appointments. They were very accommodating. They remodeled their space a while back, and it is gorgeous inside! Their pedi chairs are new and include arm compression, which is lovely. They also have a head spa I want to try... We all had the signature pedicure, which is a step up from their regular pedi and includes hot stone massage, masks, hot towels and a lot of massage thruout the entire process. It's $80 with Gel polish and worth every penny. My teen also got a fill, which we've found varies in price depending on perhaps the level of experience? Not sure if that's accurate, but thats what we're guessing. My teen always has some design inspo picked out, and the nail techs always seem to nail it. Anyway, my main reason for writing this review is because I had an ingrown toenail that's caused me problems for weeks, and it hurt too much for me to try and remove on my own, so I made sure to mention this to the nail tech, Amy. She removed it with hardly any pain. I'm super impressed. If anyone's had a hangnail before, you know it can be pretty painful to remove them. Everyone in my party had a great experience, and we've all agreed to make it our new pedi spot (we normally go somewhere in St. Paul for our pedi parties) Thanks Luxury Nails! read more

Quite literally the worst manicure I've ever had in my entire life. They drilled my nails down so much that it was painful, and they layered on the gel builder so much that my fingernails looked swollen. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Quite disappointed at the mani I got last week. I don't get a mani very often (cause I'm pretty picky) but on this visit they decided to use the dremel tool on my nails and cuticles. I don't have fake nails, etc. and in our MN winters my fingers and skin can be pretty dry. I've never seen someone use this tool on peoples cuticles. While they used this tool my cuticle began to bleed no sense of urgency when that happened. Also 2 days afterwards my cuticles on other fingers are more irritated and a little red. I also felt like it was completely rushed and my mani was done in 20 mins...when other places take 30+ mins. The color looks a bit sloppy and my cuticles look worse than they were prior to the mani. Will be trying another nail place in the future. read more

I used to love going to this place. However, they keep raising their prices $47 up to $50 then up to $53 not too long ago now they are up to $60 for a gel pedicure. Unfortunately, that is not within my budget so I will have to find someplace new. They just did a remodel and assume they raise their prices to help cover those costs. read more

Website needs a serious update. Gel manicure - $20 on website. Get to the store, they state gel is $38. Their website notes that pricing is for shellac (which is different than gel.) they refused to acknowledge my concern in the discrepancy of pricing and gaslight me into thinking I was miss rereading the pricing. they had already taken my hand and started a service before I could even say anything. Feeling very awkward and overwhelmed, I begrudgingly agreed to a "regular manicure" which let's be real, will chip in two seconds. Regarding a gel nail polish on 9/29/23: Sloppy polish done on nails and the polish didn't last past a day. We also pay an up charge for something, but I'm not sure what. Their communication skills are lacking so be sure you know what you are requesting and getting as far as services go. This place used to be very good when Terry managed it, but it's really gone down hill since they left. I would not recommend. read more

I have been going to Luxury Nails for a couple of years and my nails have never been stronger. I receive gel manicures and love to ask for creative designs. I have never been disappointed. I also believe Luxury Nails to be more affordable than other salons in the area. I highly recommend. read more

Well...after three visits I can 100% say I won't be coming back. First two were for pedi. Subpar at best. Today was for a mani. best way to describe it is SLOPPY!! I had an appt. online it says manicures take approx 30 mins. Tina was done in under 8 mins. she didn't cut my cuticles, or even push them back and missed cutting two nails. I asked for round tip I got a mixture of round and square. Polish was all over my fingers no clean up, nothing. I let her know how terrible they looked. another employee Sophia apologized and said they were too busy with a bridal party coming in?! And I could wait until they were done to have her fix them. I was given cold water for my pedi--brrrr! I don't feel like this is the most sanitary salon in the area. The tools they used were just cleaned under running water and I did not see any type of sanitation. I did not get any type of hand massage at all with my mani and I don't think my cuticles were really trimmed down enough. The staff were friendly enough but the entire place just lacked any type of luxury or pampered feeling and let's face it we all look forward to that part of the mani/pedi experience. I guess if this were not priced just like every other place that do pamper me I would not feel so cheated but I will go elsewhere from now on! read more

I went in for a Luxury pedicure today that includes a "deep" cleaning and lower leg & foot massage. The massage was good, but I was a little disappointed with my pedicure...My toes look worse than what they did before. Customer service was okay...I tried tipping in cash, but I didn't have enough to tip so I put it on my credit card. Checked my bank account and it didn't add with how much tip I gave them. I guess they just decided to give themselves an extra few dollars... I'm not upset about the money, I just don't agree that a business should do that to their customers. read more

I came in on my birthday as a gift from my daughter, over a month later and my pedicure is still nice!? I came on Wednesday and the gal was so nice! I had stopped in a local salon( Taylor's Falls) and the lady that did my manicure cut the living daylights out of my hands! 12 cuts on 10 fingers...So I drove an hour to come back to Luxury nails! I recently got my nails done somewhere else and I wasn't totally happy with them so I came back here and Sophie fixed them for me. I'm totally in love with them now. She went way beyond what I expected or have gotten anywhere else and I just cannot say enough good things. And Ann matched Sophie's design perfectly on my toes. I've been here a few times now and have always left completely happy. The employees are kind and patient and the atmosphere is really nice. Called for an appointment and got in within an hour. Was greeted promptly when I arrived and was asked to "sign in" (name, time, etc.). Terri, the owner did my French gel nails and was very good. After she told me about their sanitation procedures and single-use tools, I opted to also get a pedicure. From my one experience, I highly recommend! This salon would received zero stars if it was an option. Today we had the worst consumer experience ever at Luxory Nails. The staff was rude, impatient, and one tech was actually mean to my Daughter. My Daughter was getting a pedicure and her nail tech was actually causing her pain and getting frustrated when she asked her to stop. She used the dremel and burned my Daughters finger nails. My Daughter was given a bowl of acetone and cotton balls and told you take off her own dip nails. I decided the shop was not going to do her nails after this and they tried to charge me for my Daughter taking off HER OWN nails. The nail tech was so rude and awful to my Daughter for no reason. When she was done with her pedicure she didn't even tell my Daughter she was finished and just walked away. She quickly came back looking for money from her though. Whoever owns this shop should be ashamed of this employee. The Manager answering the phones at station 1 was also extremely rude. I took my Daughter to a shop up the road and we had a wonderful experience. They were in shock at how they left my Daughters nails. Do not waste your money here!!!! read more

Both my daughter and I were extremely disappointed. The were clearly overbooked and want could not wait to rush us out. The trimming is crooked. The end of the nails are not painted. There is a big chunk in my nail that should have been trimmed. I will never go there again. read more

Cleanliness and skillful service at this place I discovered during the COVID lockdown. They have an easy checkin procedure on an I-Pad. Walk-ins welcome. I also like it because the music is nice and no loud TV playing. COVID precautions appear to be well adhered to. My manicurist was friendly and was good about asking how I wanted my nails done. Better manis & pedis than I've gotten at salons in NYC! The staff are awesome and take great pride in their work. We made appointments for my bridal party (and the moms) the day before our wedding, and they even let us bring in food and coffee. I went in for an eyebrow wax and the girl giving it to me kept throwing my head back and turning my chin real sharp and was short" with me with her tone. Didn't want me to pay with credit card-I did anyway. She said there was a $15 minimum. I tipped her the remaining $3 and quietly told her I was never coming back. read more

I've been to this salon once before and they did a great job. On our visit back, we stood at the door for 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us, when they finally came to the door, they gave us an exasperated look, spoke to each other in Vietnamese for a minute then both walked away and left us standing there again. Confused, I waited for a minute, looked into the salon, there were 2 customers that the two people were working on. They went back and forth in Vietnamese again for a minute then the man pushed his chair back, looked at me and told me they were far too busy and I needed to come back another day. I have gone to Luxury Nails for over two years - every two weeks to had a manicure and pedicure. I would set up an appointment each time with a specific technician. During this period there were times where I had to wait 5 to 20 minutes in their salon waiting for my appointment to start. I was okay with waiting as I understood they were running behind. However, after the 4th time, I came in less than 5 to 8 minutes late - and they told me I would have to reschedule for another time as they were too busy for me - I decided I had enough. Taking care of good clients who pays over $100 (w/tip) each visit is very important in the service industry. I think they need to honor their appointments and not overbook to accommodate walk-ins and/or booking their clients so close together that they cannot accommodate their faithful good clients.
