Okay so here is the breakdown of my opinion on this place. I went in today with my grandma. We have been yo Daisy Nails before and are trying to find a "grandma" approved place to get her nails done at because let's face it no one wants to pay for Simonsons prices. We made an appointment the evening before for 10am the following day. The salon was opened when we arrived and there were 4 employees there- great start. We didn't have to wait when we had an appointment. The nail technicians were very good helping grandma around with her walker which was nice for me. They also took great care of her nails and mine. The main reason I'm giving them 4/5 stars is because they put on the wrong color gel polish. Because we didn't want them to have to take it off and start all over again we kinda just let it go but that was upsetting. Point number two: I would suggest to the owner to put a price list for services they have. It feels very ambiguous when there isn't a defined service list. All in all I would go back again. The owner, i think his name is Han. He is very unpleasant and gets mad if you aren't satisfied with the result. He told us to go to a different nail salon instead of working with us to make sure we were happy. They charge extra for everything. My final result were extremely unpleasant. The coats are messy and bulky. The shaping of the nail is terrible as well read more

I had to wait for a 2 hours when I got there even though I had made an appointment 2 hours ahead of time. Although I was a little frustrated, they still did a very good job on my nails. My nail tech Tien changed my shape from the white ovals to yellow coffins, and shape changing is normally very difficult. Han seems to be their super star! Although I hadn't checked reviews, I walked in and he introduced himself and asked me to pick a color while he filled the tub. Han is great at what he does. Fabulous salon! Pedicures for both my mother and myself. Incredibly kind, thoughtful staff! They were respectful and honoring to my elderly mother, and even serenaded her as her nails were dying. Definitely the best nail place in the area. The shop is very clean and professional, and everyone is very friendly and makes sure you feel comfortable. They have a good polish color selection, and they do a good job with the painting. My only tip is to try to make an appointment, or stop by and ask for a good time to come in because they can get pretty busy. My friend and i decided to try a new nail place which was a mistake, but we decided to go to eluxe nails because they were close to us. We both were getting a full set for homecoming and each just wanted a simple colored french tip. The nail tech painted on my acrylic then decided to start my freind, by glue nails and painting on her acrylic while i'm sitting there with colorless nails. Another nail tech finished their client and did not take me. they took someone else even tho it was a walk in and i had an appointment. I was so angry because i expected this appointment to take no longer then 1.5 hours but it took 2.5 because they were worried about taking in more clients then taking care of the ones they already had. it was a big waste of time i told them forget about the french tip and just paint them. They try to argue with me saying they could do it but i stated from the beginning i only have 1.5 hours and i need to go. very rude comments in english were "I don't get why your friend is so mad" i am mad because you are prioritizing taking in more clients then the ones you already have sitting in your chair. (my gel nail polish on top of the acrylic ended up chipping 1 week after) overall not worth your time or money read more

Clean and simple salon. Very reasonable prices, their pedicures ranges from $22-$32 includes salt scrubs, hot stones, hot towels and at least 10 mins of massage. Which is a deal compare to some other salons! Been here a couple of times and they never disappoint. Very friendly staff. If you ask nicely the techs will draw a design on your nails or toes for free of charge, which is very nice. read more

Sadly not a good experience. I live in AZ, not MN, and every year we come here I have to have fills done. Unfortunately I have never found anyone very good just by walking in. So this year I took the time to research and look up reviews and called and made an appt with Han at Eluxe Nails. My appt was for 1:00, I walked in at exactly 1:00 and he was just starting on another lady! He took another 45 minutes just to finish her hands and never apologized! Then I honestly think he doesn't have a clue what he's doing because when he was applying the gel polish he kept putting coat after coat after coat and then using a nail file over the polish and reapplying polish. As you can see from the pictures, it was absolutely awfu! Do not waste your time and especially money $$$$$$$$!!!!!! read more

My worst manicure ever. Literally. The guy talked over me the entire time when I was telling him that I'm trying to protect my nails. He sanded down my nails so thin from the top and bottom and completely ruined them! He didn't even do my cuticles and the gel color was touching my skin at several parts and was patchy in others. The guy does not have good technique and didn't listen to me. I tried several times to explain what I wanted and he didn't try to understand. I can't wait to take this off and redo my manicure, but now my long beautiful nails are destroyed and I'm so pissed. read more

Eluxe Nails is a nice quiet place to get your nail needs met. They take great care of my client who I bring here regularly. I'm able to trust my clients here alone with their staff and spend some time at Walgreens across the street. They do nice work on his nails, and his feet are very important due to being diabetic. What a fabulous first experience. I have had my toes done a half dozen times, but none were as comfortable as here. They don't push you to buy additional services. They'll ask one and done. The basic nail art is complimentary and I would have to say a pleasant "add on" that j couldn't do myself at home. The TVs weren't obnoxious. The MASSAGE CHAIRS WERE FAB AND COMFORTABLE. Spur of the moment made an appointment for my mom and I to get pedicures done on a Saturday and they were easily able to get us in in an hour. The owner is very nice and remembers your name. When I go to a business to receive a service it's about so much more to me than just the final product, it's about the whole experience, and I must say I had a great experience at Eluxe nails! Han did my nails and he was wonderful! I had come in to the salon with really bad nails from a previous salon and he took the old nails off and redid them. This was the worst dip nails I've ever had done, they didn't look right and by day 3 began chipping off. The man was very rude when I didn't pay in cash, though they'd said nothing about accepting only cash and had a machine for debit and credit cards. I was paying for 3 people and he said "why don't you have $100 cash?" I explained I rarely carry cash and he just rolled his eyes. Terrible manicure and rude service. Best nail experience I've most likely ever had. Han and another woman even stayed open almost another hour to do and finish my pedicure as well as my French full set. I had been running late after working all day and had am event to be at that night so it was a manicure 911 and they helped me out tremendously! All of them were so friendly and helpful. DO NOT GO HERE! my nails look uneven and fat and super thick. they look swollen! the paint job is patchy and all over my skin. i paid $40 for acrylics with gel and they look worse then my asshole. Ask for "Dung" when you go in, although any of the staff is great here. No wondering of they are talking about you, be ause they all speak english while you are there. Hubby and I had pedi's and love love loved them. Exfoliant and hot stones... Who could complain?! I dropped in yesterday before am appointment based on positive reviews here. I agree that the salon is nice and the owner/manager guy was very friendly. However, I wasn't thrilled with my manicure. The color options for the single color gel manicure I wanted were much brighter than I wanted, but I picked one anyway. My manicurist (his name was Ti, perhaps?) did a great job on my cuticles, but the polish is a little uneven. Parts look shinier than others and I can see the nail ridge line through the color on 3 of my fingers. Plus, I honestly think they would glow under a blacklight. Not the lighter tan/pink I envisioned. The salon was super busy and he may have been feeling rushed, so that's why I figure his demeanor was a little abrupt and he was rather rough when applying lotion. But the thing that bothered me the most is that the tips didn't feel smooth. I had to do some careful filing at home without ruining the gel. That seems like a basic thing to get right. I might try the place again if I were in the area, but I would definitely go when the salon wasn't so busy. read more

Though the staff was very friendly and sweet, I have had better manicures. The establishment is clean and their selection of polish is large. However, as my manicurist removed the old nail polish off my nails she left some in my cuticles. I thought she would remove it, but she never did. Though I knew it wouldn't show through the dark color I was having them repainted, I still thought it was odd. Also, the actual polish job was a bit messy. I had some polish in my nail beds when she finished. She did shape my nails very nicely though. I wouldn't go back because my regular place is better (Young Spa in Falcon Heights on Larpenteur and Snelling) and charges the same price for a basic manicure ($12). read more

Han did my nails and based off of the reviews that I had seen previously on here, I had high expextations. However, I asked for a round tip and he proceeded to give me a squoval tip. I asked for them to be on the shorter side, because I needed to be able to function at work, and he proceeced to give me pretty long tips. I chose a nueatral color because I have a job interview tomorrow and I had to sit there for several, I mean like 6 10 minute long drying cycles., and I still walked away having to be very careful with what I do with my hands to hopefully save the paint job. I am very displeased with the job he did. I am going to try and make them shorter myself tonight. Quite dissapointed. read more
