So we have gone to this place a few times for full set with French tip. Was charged $70 ish, normal. This time for the exact same thing they charged $105???? The price for a full set and polish is $55 or $65. How has it doubled in price? Another thing, she did French tips but had one nail on each hand a solid color. The tech said she didn't want to polish that one nail on each hand, really?!? So they put a white color acrylic nail on. I'm planning on going in there and talk to Them face to face with receipt of our past visits and pics of the nails and ask them to explain. Ugh read more

On Wednesday evening, prior to an early Sunday departure for a vacation, I visited Natural Nails in Andover seeking a manicure and pedicure. Initially, I encountered an inconvenience when the online reservation system assigned me to an employee who was either on vacation or unavailable upon my arrival. I chose to overlook this. As I settled into my chair for the pedicure, I decided to indulge in a more luxurious treatment--something I rarely do. Just as I was becoming comfortable, another technician approached to commence my manicure simultaneously. This caused a disruption, as I was unable to utilize the chair's features and had to awkwardly hold both arms to the left to accommodate her work. The experience was chaotic and distressing. The use of the dremel tool was particularly painful while grinding the cuticles, rendering the session quite miserable. Later that evening, I completed a survey provided by the owner, Nini, who apologized and offered a discount for a future appointment. By Saturday evening, one of the builder gel nails had already detached, despite being told they would last three to four weeks. I sent a photograph to Nini, who again merely apologized and extended a discount on my next service. Due to time constraints with my flight, I was unable to return for a repair and resorted to painting over that nail myself. By Sunday, another nail had fallen off, and I inquired about a refund. The response was, "No refund, it's the policy." On Tuesday, a third nail detached, clearly indicating that something was amiss in the application process. Nini's policy states that they will only repair issues within five days, with no refunds offered. I can confidently say I will never again patronize this establishment. I know of another individual who visited Natural Nails and was charged $90 for a builder gel set, with prices varying each visit--sometimes increasing with discounts. My initial set cost $65. She, too, has ceased visiting this salon. Having worked diligently for my earnings, I refuse to support businesses that do not operate with honesty and integrity. read more

Nails look nice when they are done most of the time however. Last time I went I got regular gel nails no extensions. They charged me an extra $5 to file my natural nails in an almond shape. Charged me an extra $10 for french tip- the tech told me he typically only does pedicures so it took him 45 minutes to redo the french tip part over and over. Gave my natural nails the ring of fire that are still growing out now. My nails were brittle after the prep process. Unfortunately my natural nail health was not prioritized at this salon and I was upcharged for everything possible. I was a reoccurring customer until this experience. read more

After 2 years of coming to Natural Nails, II have had some concerns and unhappiness with my nails and the experience during the time I spent in the salon. for my appointments I feel I have always treated the staff with kindness and respect, just as I would expect to be treated. Let me first express that I am sure I am not alone when I say that I come to sit back, relax and enjoy the pampering experience, time to unwind and distress. I do not book my services for only the personal maintenance, but for respite from my life as it is right now. My experience on July 2, 2024 was the last bit of patience I had when it comes to issues I have experienced over the past few months at your salon. The loud yelling and swearing was totally uncalled for and offensive by one of your patrons. Salons should be an environment for people to enjoy. As a general rule, most salons ask that children are not brought to the salon, unless they are having a service done. A child's loud iPad, whining, crying, screaming, arguing with a sibling, someone yelling at their child. If it is necessary to bring a child, they should be using headphones to protect the peace of other patrons. Likewise, the same for adults, if they are watching videos, etc. on their cell phones, volume off, as hearing the ever-changing videos, etc. is very jarring to others. ( Again, this is not the first instance of these types of issues happening which you were made aware of). As I read online regarding Nail Salon Etiquette, it was very clear that the most triggering topic next to (unruly) children in a salon is cell phone use . It is just plain annoying and unfair to others who are paying for a quiet service time. Cell phone usage is much more annoying to others than one realizes. Take it outside or wait until the appointment is done. I truly feel that it is up to the owner, manager or staff to speak to other customers. Unfortunately, I did not see/heard this being done when issues happen. I was very disappointed when Henry didn't say anything to the customer who was swearing and yelling at her children. Instead, he chose to meet me outside and make excuses for the situation. I took this as an insult to my feelings and it was very unprofessional. Secondly, for the past few months I have been very unhappy with my nails. I have spoken out and I have come back in and I have paid/and tipped to hopefully get the issues resolved. I feel I have been more than patient. I have told Crystal, my nail tech how I want my nails and what I do not like, etc. While I do not mind suggestions, It seems that she has her own ideas of how my nails should be. She also blames my chemo on a lot of issues I am having. I do not believe this to be true. She seems to be much more preoccupied with other clients and/or personal issues. Seven of my nail tips were off by July 3, 2024. Broke/cracked off and or peeled off. This was a brand new set and the second time in 2/3 weeks this has happened. This is not my fault and I refuse to blame anything but the services themselves! I have always tipped very generously with hopes that my appointment will be about me, not everyone/everything else! I do not feel it is at all fair or expected of me to pay for the July 2, 2024 services. However, I have not heard any response to my email sent to Henry, the owner. Paid $161.00 including tip to have all but 3 of the nails break off. I find this salon a bit more expensive than most, however, I have had no problem paying that, as long as I get the service(s) I am paying for. I do not feel it's professional for a nail tech to take and make phone calls and or text messages during the client's services. There is also a lot of chatting among the techs during my services, which is very distracting to both her and myself. There is a balance between being friendly and being professional. In the best interest of myself and my expectations, I will be seeking a new salon for my nails and pedicures. read more
