They don't know how to do French nails so definitely don't come there for that. Everything else was great!

The lady was extremely nice. The guy nail tech who did my nails was nice as well but seemed like he did not enjoy doing nails and rushed through it. He didn't want to do the design cause he said too long. The shaping was terrible, very lumpy and unbuffed. I was going to show a picture off my phone to kinda show what I wanted but he told me not to touch my phone or it would be too hard to fix nails. This was before painting or even filing. He didn't have me wash my hands at all and just put acrylic over all the filed powdery stuff. He barely did anything with cuticles or around my nails and the nails are extremely uncomfortable. I paid 86.75 and will post video of the jagged nails they are extremely curved and just feel unfinished. 3 of the rhinestones they put on fell off within hours. I would recommend a different nail tech or finding another place that will take more time to make sure your happy. He also took a Tylenol mid nail session and did not wash his hands after touching his mouth. It was a little unsanitary. read more

This was a birthday gift for my friend Mary...she requested a gel pedicure with a flower design. If I can post the pictures I will...but, not only she got a horrible flower, she paid extra for it. The guy that did the pedicure cut her nails super short without asking how short she wanted. Then the girl that did the design flower, did asked her questions as well...and when they talked to each other they were in other language that Mary didn't understand, how rude is that? read more

Accommodated me graciously as a walk in on a busy Saturday last weekend. Salon clean, nicely decorated, well lit. Service was prompt and professional, staff courteous, nail tech Jason did an excellent job on mani-pedi with regular polish. Loved the hot stone massage. Prices very reasonable. The pace looks clean and well maintained; which always goo to notice when you enter. I proceeded to get a pedicure and a manicure. The pedi chair was comfy and capable of giving a pretty good massage. The manicurist who worked on me was good when it came to my feet. I opted for the regular spa treatment ($25). With that price I got a full pedi, scrub (which Lord I needed), a foot and calf massage (that was awesome). When it came to my hands the manicurist did an ok job. See, I'm from NYC where there is a lot of competition, so salons go beyond to keep your business. I wasn't overly pleased with my he job done to my nails, but the weren't horrible either. My lady enjoyed her whole experience -- and I'm glad for it too. For both of us to get our feet and nails done; it was rather inexpensive. For that, when I'm in tow I will certainly be back. It has changed.. new owner and different staff. I was a bit sad to find out that all the ladies who use to work here have left. When I went in, there was only Joe and Gwen. They both were nice, offering drinks & etc. Joe got me in right away with Gwen. It sounds like they go by appointments now, or would try to squeeze you in when they're available. Gwen was the only one working, and did a good job. I usually just get the basic pedicure with regular polish for $25, but she said my total was $30. We called ahead of time to schedule an appointment for four o'clock. When we came in we sat there for about 10-12 minutes waiting to get my nails done. My sister on the other hand did not have an appointment scheduled so we asked about a walk in and they had an extra spot open which was great. My sister and I sat by each other waiting to get our nails done and someone did start my sisters nails before she started mine (Yet I had actually scheduled an appointment.) Other wise Lisa did an amazing job and was super polite. There were some kids there (I think the employees kids) who were on tablets being a little loud. On the other hand my nails look great and I'm super impressed with how long I've had them on and they've barely chipped. For the price ($15) my nails are great and I do plan on coming back. My first visit and the gel pedicure I received was ok. She cut the skin on my toe and she kept dropping the UV light on my toes. She also got polish all over my toes. My nail tech filed my nails so aggressively it was painful. Then she was pushing my nail bed so hard I flinched in pain and she stopped. I will not come back. read more

I have appreciated how Sassy Nails has been very accommodating to my situation. I use a power wheelchair. Because I'm unable to stand or walk I must remain in my chair. They always make an accessible space for me. With limited use of my hands I can't trim my own nails. Now, under the new management the manicure I receive is notably improved AND I especially enjoy the hand and lower arm massage I've been given by Gwen. read more

Had a great pedicure! I did the herbal spa pedi and it was wonderful! 2 scrubs, a masque, and great massage with oil and lotion. This also included a hand/arm massage which was also very relaxing! The woman who did my pedi was very nice and picked up on the queues that I wanted to just kick back and relax and not talk. Things in the salon were very clean and there were tons of nail colors to choose from! I got there at 4:30pm and left at 7:30pm+ she messed up my nails she cut me and I asked for square nails and some of them are square but some are straight on one side and slanted on the other. My nails are so uneven it's crazy one of my pinky's is long the other is short she knew she was Messing up cuz she looked at it and and kept going, she also mad one of my pointer fingers thick at the top and skinny at the bottom and did the same to my thumbs when I told her about it she acted like she was going to fix it and still didn't, my nails look very choppy and I don't think she should be charging that much for these choppy ass ugly ass messy ass nails, and I will NOT be coming back read more

To start, we have been to this location a few different times. Apparently the entire staff up and quit and now they have to bring in other workers from another location. I made two appointments to be done at the same time, 12:00pm. We arrived and the place had only 2 people working and six customers! We were told, after I waited 15 minutes to ask, that there was only one appointment at a time and we would just have to wait. When you make an appointment you shouldn't be expected to wait for someone else, who has an appointment for the exact same time, to finish with their appointment first! This "salon" obviously does not value people's time and expects for you to wait. Joe, the owner, is the one who made the appointments in the book when I called at 9am. He knew that they were not staffed properly and yet he made the appointment anyway. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the lady working but was very respectful and asked her to tell the owner what had happened. Kim, the only other lady working was very very nice. However the other lady was very rude. We will not be back! Our time is just as valuable! Will never recommend this place. We went to Oceans Nails, much better experience! read more

THE WORSE NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Let me start from the beginning. I called to schedule a nail appointment for 6pm and was also quoted 25$ for full set medium length nails coffin shape. I arrived at 6:02pm things are going good. We are now at the point where "I" decide on the length of my nails and the nail Tech ask's "how long do you want your nails?" before I could bring my hand up from the nail techs grasp, she started clipping my nails then said " this should be fine" I looked and was not satisfied with her choice of length and it showed on my face. I then stated "WoW these are really short!" the nail tech Stated "they just seem short but once I add the acrylic they are gonna be longer" I was in disbelief and then I assist that they be longer. The nail tech then got out of her seat and told another tech to come to the back of the salon. They were in the back everyone could hear them screaming and yelling and all the clients started to stare at me with disapproval and I felt bad for something that wasn't my fault. im 100 percent certain the conversion was about me. 7 minutes has passed now. IT GETS WORSE..... nail tech comes back she is pissed. They are still yelling with each other "not in English" now I feel uncomfortable it's 6:58 and my nails are in the process of getting fixed then all of a sudden..... Two of the nail tech were talking loudly then all of a sudden they started SCREAMING and YELLING at EACH OTHER!!!!! NOT EVEN 2 FEET FROM WHERE I WAS SITTING!!!... The worse part is the nail Tech that's in the middle of this dysfunction is THE LADY THATS SUPPOSE TO BE DOING MY NAILS!!!! "LIKE OMG" THE MANAGER OR STORE OWNER NOT SURE" then started to finish my nails but she keeps getting up defusing the situation!! The FIGHTING BICKERING YELLING VERBAL DISRESPECT! this lasted til 7:24. Then all of a sudden the nail tech the initially started doing my nails turns to me with an attitude and says "you gotta go!" I'm say "huh" "what you mean I gotta go?" the Nail Tech was like "you gotta come back tomorrow because I'm tired and I'm going home" then she stats your were late anyway!!! And it's your fault because you couldn't told me your nails were too short from the beginning!!! I said NOOOOOO you should've waited for my reply on the length.. I gave them two stars because they were at least nice. We came in around 2pm, 2 hours before they close on a Sunday. We asked for two gel powder and one gel manicure. They only did gel manicures. I even showed them a pic I wanted my nails like so I thought she knew that I wanted the powder to make them long. They didn't have any color similar to what I wanted so I can't complain but she didn't even shape them well. I could do better myself. The guy who did my sister's nails only filed one hand....? Worst gel manicure I've ever had. On top of that they were extremely rude and had none of the colors I wanted. I wanted a simple light cream color and they had nothing but kept just showing me different shades of pink. The guy had this bright idea then to use a white on the bottom and then put a light pink over it to make it a creamy white but instead just looked discolored and ended up having to do 5 layers!!! They got nail polish all under my nails and on my skin around my nail. I have to go to a new salon now tonight and get them redone and it's going to ruin my nails! I wanted them looking nice for my vacation for NYE and Now I just have horrible looking nails. I liked that they autoclave their tools, but it all ends there. The whole shellac manicure took all of ten minutes. They did one base coat and two color coats. No top coat. They gave a very brief hand massage BEFORE even putting the color on so of course when I washed my hands in preparation of the color the lotion was all gone off my hands but I got a massage which is more than I can say for the two others who were with me. Most of my nails were fused right to the skin on the tips of my fingers. None of the technicians talked to any of us during our "spa session". Over priced, poor quality, rush job, I do not expect my 14 - 21 day gel manicure to last more than one or two days. read more

The gal who did my pedi cut my nails before removing the old polish, so she cut too short and it hurt. My polish didn't even last two weeks before chipping, and all other places I've been too give me at least three. I didn't feel like it was clean, and that's the deal breaker for me. read more
