I highly recommend this place for a full set. Hou took care of me on short notice and was quick! Ive been getting the same almond French combo for quite some time- described it to him and came out perfect. He mentioned he's been in the business for over 11 years. Will be going back.

Acrylic all over my fingers I filed the sides because acrylic was leaking over my cuticles

I am a regular and have had get success!!! I went yesterday to get a full set and waited a half hour for Linda to do my nails. Granted there was others available to give me a full set!! Well needless to say Linda did a horrible horrible full set on me I don't know how long she's been doing nails but she should not be doing full sets that's for sure she was doing a pedicure while I was waiting a half an hour maybe she should stick to pedicures and not full sets I left before she could finish I gave them money for the product that was put on my nails and went elsewhere I am truly disappointed because I've had such great success there in the past and now I'm not sure if I can go back

Super rude staff. Have been getting dip done to my nails for years. I asked the nail technician for another coat of dip powder so my nails wouldn't break in which she argued with me about, but eventually did. Also was only going to sand and buffer one hand before polishing and when I pointed out she had the other hand left to do she gave more attitude and said she already did it but would do it again. To top it off, the nails looks awful. They're not all even lengths, some are crooked and she didn't even try to put them close to the cuticle or clean up the edges.

tl;dr: *Significant* lack of quality control, did not read or take time to accommodate my requests…read moreor have a conversation about what was reasonable vs. I wanted to help decide what would be best. Full review: A friend recommended this nail salon--their Instagram and website looked great; I was excited to try them out. Called and made (2) back-to-back appointments--pedicure and manicure, said I was open to either regular nail polish or gel, but I wanted to talk to the tech to decide about a broken (natural) nail and what we could do about it. I also mentioned I had my own bottle of polish that I was hoping, but again, not insistent we use (regular, not gel). I asked for art on the manicure, and asked for no leg massage on the pedicure. I'd seen Prose has a membership program and I was interested since wedding season is coming up. Once I arrived it was a little awkward since my tech wasn't ready/available yet, but I figured that's normal and shrugged it off. The person who greeted me immediately handed me their gel options and when my tech (Bill) came out later and saw my regular polish bottle, told me we couldn't use it (it was glitter--I applied it over the gel after the appt). I wasn't surprised they pushed gel--nearly every salon I've been to does. The tech gave me a leg massage during the pedicure--so obviously either no note was made or it wasn't read prior to my service beginning. I could've said something and didn't, so I'll own that. The UV light kept turning off before the polish could cure, so I had to keep holding my foot up higher to try to set off the motion/proximity sensor or whatever was keeping it on. I noticed after the appointment the tech cut my two big toes at different lengths so more below-nail skin shows on my left toe than my right. I always leave my big toenails a little long before a pedicure so I don't make this exact mistake, and allow a professional to do it right--that didn't help me this time. For my manicure, the tech did fix my broken nail with a nail extension, but cut and shaped my middle finger nails into different shapes--the one with the extension is visually much pointer than my other natural shape. If he hadn't cut all but 1 of my finger nails down to match them, I would assume this couldn't be avoided but obviously it was just a lack of quality control/care. I could tell by this point that he was not going to be very good at the nail art and I'd wanted to ask to remove that add-on entirely so I could do it myself later or go someplace else for better service, but didn't. I told him I just wanted my thumbs done w/ art. We couldn't fit both of the nail stickers I'd brought and wanted, so we just did one on each thumb. Obviously w/ nail stickers, more topcoat has to be applied to cover and there are bubbles in my left thumb nail--fine--I've had that happen before. He applied too much oil all over my cuticles, told me to rub it in and then rushed over to tell the receptionist what services were done. The oil smelled good, but I hate the feeling of oil on my hands--to be fair I didn't tell them this, but he also didn't need to put SO much on that I could feel myself unintentionally rubbing it into my steering wheel on the drive home. Paying took a while since the receptionist had just arrived and seemed to be a little new to her role, but I'll admit that really isn't much of a irritation--I care more about the lack of quality of the mani/pedi. I will note that there was no tip option--if I missed it that's genuinely my mistake because I still would've tipped 10% or so--I don't believe in not paying gratuity. I accidentally provided a 5-star review when I was trying to get through the iPad process to pay (the iPad and the receptionist were not moving very quickly), so that was my mistake. I asked for a printed receipt but was told they'd email it to me (they did). I noticed once I got home that he didn't push the cuticles on my fingers back, so now I'm trying to decide if I should leave them (they look stupid), or push the cuticles up and then try to overlay my glitter polish to try to smooth over the look. I also have nail stickers that might cover this issue, but that wasn't the design I had in mind. My expectations were high, but I could've settled for good/average. I have all the tools at home to do nail art stickers, I just hate trying to get a good base down on my non-dominant hand, and a professional pedicure is always better than what I can manage at home. I fully regret calling and scheduling this appointment at Prose, but I am glad I know they aren't the right salon for me *now* instead of later this year when I need service done before wedding season.

I enjoyed it and the salon's prices are very reasonable. However my time was hardly relaxing thanks to the way the salon is set up. The room where the esthetician works is just around the corner from the front reception desk. All the conversations from the desk were easy to hear. In addition the bathroom is right next door and you can hear the toilet flushing. The spa waiting room has 2 seats and is open to the salon. Yesterday there was a man who sat there the whole time talking on his cell phone. He was taking up a space that someone getting spa services could use, plus he was loud enough to hear during the facial. This set up is poor, and there are no seats by the receptionist in the salon, so anyone coming in waits in the small spa area. The salon could greatly improve by making a few modifications to their setup. For me, one of the perks of a spa treatment is relaxing afterwards. There was certainly none of that at Salon Adagio. Too bad, but I doubt if I'll come back.

I have been seeing Emily for all my hair needs for 12 years now and I cannot imagine going anywhere…read moreelse. From my very first appointment, I have always been treated like I were family. While Emily always does my hair, I have enjoyed other services at the salon and I can tell you that the entire Gigi's team is welcoming, professional and incredibly talented. And the salon itself is absolutely beautiful. The spa area is the most amazing place to be, I wish I could just stay there 24/7 (LOL) The ladies at the front desk are always so friendly so a shout out to them as well. Whether a routine appointment or trying something new, I always leave loving my results. They truly take the time to listen, offer honest input and make sure you walk out the door happy. There have been times that I wanted to try something off the wall and Emily has always explained why it would or would not work for me. If it was something that wouldn't work, she always found ways to get close to what I was asking for but making sure it actually worked for my hair type. I appreciate her honesty and that she makes sure I am getting the best results. I cannot say enough good things about Emily - she is truly exceptional.

She is very shy & was uncomfortable addressing the issue herself, so I initially contacted the salon on her behalf with her permssion. The haircut was so minimal that neither family members nor friends could tell she had her hair cut. The color was placed underneath her hair, making it virtually invisible during normal wear. We even provided before-and-after photos to support our concerns. When I first spoke with management, I was told she would review the situation with the owners and she indicated that a refund might be appropriate. However, after the stylist became involved, the conversation changed completely. Although we made it clear that my daughter was not comfortable returning to the same stylist for correction, that seemed to become the salon's only proposed solution. ********Most disappointing of all, we sent a respectful email to the owners detailing our concerns and included photos. We even proposed a partial refund for just the haircut and not the color and never received a response**** Everyone can make mistakes, but professional businesses should stand behind their work and communicate with their customers when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, that was not our experience.
