I really wanted to like this place... but... there are a couple of things that need to be talked about. I went there today to get a fill and called ahead which I could get in right away which was great. I walk in and I'm...the only one in there. I was a little alarmed but remained hopeful. As I was getting my nails filled I noticed Le, the owner working extremely fast on my nails... nail drill darn near full speed which is fine i appreciate that but SHE KEPT BUMPING MY CUTICLES...over and over to the point where I'm wincing every time the drill turns on. She kept telling me to relax but like... how could I? I wanted a simple flower design on 2 of my fingers as I showed her a picture and she explained that she wanted to do her own flower design instead so I settled with French on those fingers. What got me was that she also at some point in the service started filing the side of my thumb with a file like ouch why? Why do that? I will say my nails turned out pretty good but I don't agree with the saying beauty is pain when it comes to getting your nails done. It's supposed to be relaxing. The kicker... $75 dollars for just a fill. That was sort of the icing on the cake for me. read more

I live in Minneapolis, but happened to be in the area, so thought I'd try a new nail place. This is certainly in the middle of nowhere, so I'm guessing they do all right as they are probably the only nail salon for miles. I have gotten my nails done for 30 years, first acrylics, then gel, now dip. So I have a lot of experience. Normally I get my nail done every 3-4 weeks, but I am currently trying to grow out my nails after having damaged them (long story), so I went in to simply get a regular manicure, not gel or dip. They tried to upsell me, explain why gel is better. I told them I understood, but I really only wanted the regular. They were not happy I wouldn't relent, lol. The young woman did a quick manicure, as I keep my nail in good condition on my own. I even push/cut my own cuticles. So while it was an easy job, she should have gone a little slower and done a little more as she was done in less than 20 minutes. Did not feel like I was getting my money's worth. She told me my nails were thin (always have been) and put an extra coat of polish on. That was appreciated, however, after sitting under the dryer there for 20 minutes and a 35 minute ride home with the car vents blowing on my nails, they still weren't hardened. That extra coat ended up forcing my fresh manicure to look like my nails looked when my daughter did my nails playing "Nail Salon" at 7 years old. After 2 hours and still trying to be careful, they got messed up. When I got there, I noticed signs several signs, indicating $5 discount for paying cash on Mani's & Pedi's. I didn't have that much, only $5 intended for a tip as I always pay my tips in cash. My Manicure was $25.... that is more than I have ever paid anywhere. My usual Salon are $15-20. So obviously, they are NOT giving you $5 off for paying cash. They are just trying to bully customers into paying with cash and penalizing those who use cards. In closing, the technician did a good job on my manicure and I appreciated her recognizing I have thin nails. But the extra coat was a mistake she should have known would happen with regular polish. I would use her again to get a gel or dip. But I won't go back to this salon because their pricing policy is nothing more than shady. And I don't like being bullied..... read more

This review is based off a few visits - I didn't want a 'knee jerk' reaction on one experience. The staff is friendly, but rushed. The masks and a clear language barrier inhibits even the most benign small talk (which some might not care about) but makes following instructions or answering service questions difficult. One of the times I visited I got a pedicure. I knew I had dry feet, so I upgraded to the deluxe. Save your money. I still walked out of there with rough heels and peeling skin. Super gross. And the tub water was cold. Like, took my feet awhile to warm up again once I left, cold. They giggled 'busy Saturday.' I giggled 'get a bigger water heater or warn me.' No discount or discount, extra massage, nothing. Just soak your feet in this freezing water. It's fine. I went in for a gel manicure another time. I wanted try the dipped powder. Again, save your money. Compared to gel, it is thick and looks and feels very artificial. This could be the rushed application because I ended up with powder and polish all over my skin, and chunks under my nails I had to dig out myself to avoid feeling like I was a torture victim.The technician cut my cuticles not once by twice. And I mean cut to the blood. A giggle 'this bother you?' Yeah I'm bleeding and the alcohol you're hastily rubbing in my wound is causing an involuntary to yank my hand out of danger. I also witnessed tools being pulled from boxes labeled 'dirty.' No new, clean tools being pulled from poly bags or jars of barbisol. I'm probably going to lose this finger. Buyer beware of the unknown up-sell. During every visit, I watched women walk in and request a manicure (not a gel manicure) and they were directed to pick your color from the bin of gel polish. That costs more, and not once did their tech say 'this color will cost X. I went in and asked for a gel manicure. I wanted to try to try the powder and they failed to tell me that it was $15 more. And I didn't even get a hand massage. I don't mind paying a service what it's worth but I would certainly expect some honesty in the upgrade. In an area where there are a dozen shops like this one, they need to do better. Stay away! I surely will! read more

Le's nails is the only nail salon in Maple Grove were I consistently get a great pedicure. The owner Le is always on site and is very friendly, so is the entire staff. Beautifully clean salon! Highly recommend! read more

We wanted to try a new nail salon in the area, so we gave Le's Nails a try. We called to make an appointment for two gel manicures. We were told to come in at 6. We arrived early and weren't taken to the chairs until 6:20pm. While it seemed hectic and the staff were running around, they didn't apologize, give us an update on how much longer it would be. Then, we finally got seated (not by each other when we came in together). I've never had my cuticles nipped during a manicure, and my cuticles were cut on THREE different fingers leading to bleeding on those three fingers. The manicurist was clearly rushed and was helping other clients in between my manicure, which I didn't appreciate. Also, they use new tools (pumice, file, etc) on each client which I appreciate, but they asked me to share the same tools that they had already used on my mom. While I don't mind sharing with my mom it is the principle that they tried to save money by asking us to share tools to save money. Sharing tools defeats the purpose of each client having a new set to avoid the spread of germs/warts/etc. While they offer decent deals/prices, I will not be returning. They seem understaffed, rushed, and that quality isn't valued. read more

Just recently started going here. Le (the owner) is really nice and does a great job with my manicures. She does work fast and sometimes works on three peoples nails at a time --talk about multitasking haha. But ultimately my nails always looks really good and the gel stays on for forever!!!! read more

I am extremely disappointed after having a great experience the first time going in. My nails were crooked and rounded instead of square like I had requested. My cuticles were not done properly and the bottom was coming off the nail as well as chipping on the top before a week had passed. I had made an appointment for 10:15 showed up at 1020 and she didn't start until 1030 and I didnt get done until nearly an hour later at 11:15pm. After several attempts to reach the salon later that week I finally was able to get in touch with someone on Tuesday the next week. I had told her about my experience and how I would like a refund or my nails redone and she said I can come in and them done. So I set up an appointment, drove 45 minutes to get there and then they had me go to the same newer nail tech and she didn't fix any of my cuticles slopped another layer of polish on and also took forever. Before she even started I had told her I have a hard cutoff at 11:45 and she said she could finish by then. At 11:45 I told her if she is not done I need to make another appointment and she said no she is done and then continued to paint my nails. I literally had a WORK meeting at 12 I had to be at by and she was disrespectful of my time and did not manage expectations properly at all. It does not let me share photos here but if I could you would see an uneven paint job where there is a huge streak of no top coat and my cuticles are all jagged still. The WORST of all is that the same day all FOUR of one hand came off super easily... I finally called in and requested a refund and she refused a refund even though I had already gone back to get them redone and had told her before I left I was not happy she did nothing. She blames it on a week had passed and my nails grew out. Terrible customer experience and nail job! Now I am going on vacation with no nails! All she had to do was do it properly or give me a refund and I would have been happy. Even after telling her that I would have to share my experience with other so they know what to expect, she would not do anything to resolve the issue. In my opinion, this is the best way to run your business into the ground. I hope nobody else has this experience because I definitely will not be going back. read more

Deluxe Pedicure was anything but deluxe. Left us sitting multiple times to go work on other clients even though we made appointments well in advance. The nails were cut very crooked, not filed smoothly and the polish was so sloppy, old and thick it will never dry and will need to be redone immediately. Huge waste of time and money. read more
