If it was the only nail salon in town and I only wanted a quick fix on something, I may come back. Prices started out low and as the experience occurred we were told things cost more. $20 more for gel, $5 more for glitter polish, $5 more if you want more than one color gel, $7 extra for that color, $8 for that. I went in wanting a gel pedi/mani and left with a basic. Not excited at all, will most likely go somewhere else to get the gel applied to my nails. No frills or thrills. read more

I have had my nails done here 3 times in the last couple of months and each time was a great experience. They are attentive to detail and ask my opinion about the length and shape of my nails and genuinely seem to want me to be satisfied. I have never been fully satisfied with my nails after getting them done at a salon, but I have to say that I am BEYOND satisfied with my nails. Kevin did not rush through the job. He took his time and made sure my nails were perfect! HE UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT. The salon was clean and the people were friendly. I got almond shape, pink tip, powdered nails...?? Come here if you want to bleed. I'm super bummed because the first time I came here (full set for my daughter and I) they were great. Only two people working but it was cold do nobody there. I went back for a fill 2 weeks later. I was told 'were busy, come back later' so I went to another place in Anoka. Today, brought my daughter back for a fill. They rushed through it, I'm bleeding from 3 places, my daughter is bleeding from two, our polish is tacky and gross cause it wasn't allowed time to cure. She was also very grabby with my daughter, I don't like aggression. I had high hopes for this place but we won't be back. Going to try Q nails in Coon Rapids. Decent nails, staff gets extremely rude and unprofessional when you ask for anything specific. I went in to get my nails redone and my daughters nails painted. My daughters nails were fine but they refused to remove my old acrylic set like I asked and forced me to just get a refill. They also argued me down(several of them to the point my 6 year old is asking what's going on?") about doing a slight dip in the tip of my nail. The manager also rolled his eyes at me when I told him I'm finally happy with the service after being switched to a male artist. I will more than likely never go back to this low class shop but the prices reflect the service so I guess you get what you pay for. read more

New owner. Service taken a dip downward from previous owner's higher standards. Doesn't look good to clients to have an employee arguing with the owner and then walking out. It took over an hour for one pedi due to this incident, and no apology was given. Sorry to say, we won't return. read more

I've been coming to Elite Nails in Champlin for at least eight years. Prior to finding them, I tried many of the other places nearby in Champlin, Maple Grove, Anoka, and Brooklyn Park, all with unsatisfactory results. Elite always does a very nice job. I do not believe "Stephanie A's" review at all. None of the people who work at Elite Nails in Champlin are "grabby" or "aggressive" in the least. Besides, it sounds fishy to me that she says she's going to try another nail salon near here because they "don't rush people through" - how would she know that if she hasn't been there yet??? In any case, since Elite Nails in Champlin has been doing my nails, I've been very happy and get many compliments! They do an excellent job. I would highly recommend them. read more

I was so appalled about the service I received today 06/13/15. I was treated horribly worst service I have ever experienced in my lifetime. First I came in and was asked what services I wanted. Then as I was looking for a color out of their collection of nail polish, the lady says come on you can pick a color later. She rushed and started my nails then she had me stop in the middle of her doing my nails she has someone else start my pedicure. While I was getting a pedicure the lady started polishing my nails while I was sitting getting a pedicure. The pedicure was so bad I think my 8 year old niece does a better job I'm not exaggerating. .UT was a male doing my pedicure it seems like it was his first time doing one....Wow I couldn't believe what was happening. I politely asked her "Ma'am are you in a rush"?. She had a very smart remark in her native tongue..then in English she says how she does the best nails and how Style Nails in Champlin does a bad job etc..Despite the poor service I received I gave her a 5 dollar tip and remained professional she did not deserve a tip.As my friend and I was waiting under the dryers to dry our nails the women turns the lights off in the shop...I am just so unhappy on how I was treated..Please do not support this business I have been living in the area over 10 years and I rather drive further to be treated like a valued customer. read more
