On a weekday morning visited at opening for new full acrylic nails. The nail technician came highly recommended. I love the nails and the proficiency of the nail artist was evident. The biggest drawback is that I was sitting near the front desk and my nail person had to answer A LOT of phone calls during my appointment. I'm OK without full attention, but after about half dozen phone call interruptions it got to be a bit much. They do a brisk business and I am very satisfied with my nails. The phone calls bring the experience down to four stars. This is a great nail location, maybe the phone rings less later in the day. read more

GNO is my GO TO for artistry and acrylics. I've tried many nail salons locally and they're my favorite. My only Complaint is despite scheduling appointments I normally end up waiting 10-20 minutes before they begin working on me. Otherwise, employees are personable and recognize you after a few visits (always makes you feel special), detailed and patient with their work.. etc. overall, I recommend. read more

Aweful pedicure. Aweful experience. I was in the chair less than 30 minutes. Not asked what I wanted, yet the lady next to me was offered an array of services. For $50 I can do my own pedicure and pay for gel polish. Never go back. I have never in 25 years had such a impersonable and poor experience. I went and got a acrylic set and pedicure done like 3 weeks ago. My nail tech did a great job and my nails turned out nice. The nail prices seem reasonable to me, $55 for a full set and $40 for the pedicure but the reason im giving it a lower star is because when I went to go get my nails soaked off, the acrylic was sticky which means they used the cheap MMa product to bind the products together and it was hard to take them off and i got damage to my regular nails because of it. read more

I went here this past weekend for a pedicure and although it says they're offering 25% off, I still was charged $34 for a regular (not spa) pedicure. The entire operation is run off of an iPad mini with a knockoff Square reader. The unit kept saying 'Signature Error' every time I tried to sign so they continued to swipe, and swipe, and swipe my card and sign on my behalf to try and process the charge. Later on I realized I had been charged the nearly $40 (w/ tip) ELEVEN TIMES!!!! They told me my transaction didn't process on their end and they were just authorizations that would drop off. Here I am now 6 days later and $428.74 poorer (They ALL posted BTW); throw in a few bounced check fees from my mortgage payment for good measure. ALL OF MY NOPES FOREVER!!! read more

This place was the WORST!. I have been to many places for a pedicure. This is the new place in town so I thought I'd try it. I went for the most expensive Pedicure (the firewalker 55.00) not impressed. My feet are rougher now than when I got there.They don't speak English so trying to tell them what you want and don't want is difficult. The atmosphere is nice but not welcoming, No music playing to relax you, no TV's to watch a show, since they don't speak English, they only talk to other staff in there native tongue. So if you want to spend $$$ and have no one talk to you the entire time your there, then this is the place for you. First time here as I'm still trying to find a good place in Blaine. I came in for a gel pedi and a full set. My toes had previous gel and she peeled them off. Big no no for me. However they massage you for a long time, so it made me feel better. My nails turned out a lot better than I expected. I had old acrylics on, she used a nail tip to pop them off. HATE THAT. And then she cut my natural nails down all the way even tho I was trying to grow them out. I didn't realize she was going to do that otherwise I would have stopped her before it was too late. My nails originally we're too thick, but after I asked for thinner she thinned them down a little bit, still a little.bulky but it's alright. I would return. read more

New owners have made this place so disappointing. I have been going to GNO for 3 years, they were always friendly and welcoming & one of the best places for SNS dip nails! I've been to others & not one other place was ever as good as GNO however in recent months GNO was bought and has new owners and not only did prices go up but after about 12 visits I am now officlly done giving them my business. No one greets you or is friendly, no one except the lady who did my nails ever said even hello, the vibe in there is so weird and unwelcoming but after they switched to cheap top coats and having to keep going back to get new top coat in between visits I'm over it. I commented on FB about the top coat and they said they were aware & has now switched to a better top yet my next two visits were the same exact top coat & it happened again! They had changed nothing yet we're aware of the problem.and even the lady who did my nails said they were having issues non stop with everyone & the tip coat peeling off. After my last visit and months of being disappointed Im sharing my experience to hopefully help others that the ownership has changed and what was once a fabulous nail spa it is no longer. read more

This salon is very clean, and modern. They have very clean amenities in regard to the pedi spas, and they have tons of polish to choose from. The owner, T, does her best to accommodate your nail requests, and for me that's great, since I'm very particular in regard to my French manicure. I have been here a few times and although I like the work they do with the exception of the new gal giving me the worst pedicure I ever had, my issue with this place is the staff are not friendly or customer focused. I have had several times where I had an appointment that was not honored and had to wait from anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. If they even have someone there that can perform the service I requested. For the prices they charge I expect more so I'll keep looking and not return or recommend this salon read more

They both did a great job, they were very professional and I liked that they interacted with us and didn't just talk with others that work in the salon, like happens at other places I have been to. Decided to try this nail salon out because of the prices. Made an appt with Stephanie, she was friendly and did a nice job with my nails.

I had went to get acrylics with my coworkers, and they were very nice however the lady had cut me and my nail were so thick. Three days later pass and 4 nails fall off. One more day passes and two more come off. They all can off after that but one which I had gotten removed. I had tried to call them but no one picked up. Two days later during my lunch break I called again and I had talked to this lady and I tried asking to talk to a manager and she hung up on me. I finally got a hold of a manger an hour later and he was super nice and said that the next day we could set an appointment to redo them. So when I had gotten there with my boyfriend I had explained my situation and I showed them the text that their manager had sent me. All the ladies in them come crowding around me saying how we never had anything like this where a nail had come off. I told her I had payed $55 before tip and I had gotten dip. She refused to believe me because dip never falls off. After her making rude comments she called her manager and than she had asked me to sit down so she could do them. Don't get me wrong this lady did a pretty good job on my nails however the whole time she was gossiping to the lady next to her, in English, as they continuously kept swearing and saying rude comments. Not enough staff for a scheduled party of 6 and only 4 people showed up. Can't imagine how long it would have taken if the additional 2 had come. The gel polish is the thinnest coating of polish I have ever seen. Cuticles were not trimmed and paid $40.00 for a pedicure to not have my feet feel any different than before I came in. My daughters acrylics look crooked due to how they were filed. Sorry but won't be wasting 2 hours and $130 there again! read more

I would have walked out a long time ago if it wasn't for the fact that this is for my friends wedding and we were suppose to get our nails done together. She is almost done and 3 other people were started before me who are almost done. Now I will not have time for both my toes and fingers. Horrible service. read more

I've been to GNO Nails for pedicures several times since they opened and have always been happy with their services. My biggest priority is cleanliness and they have been totally on top of that every time I've been in. When I treat myself I drive from Anoka (9 miles away) because I'd rather go somewhere I trust to be clean (and do a nice job) than to stay close to home and risk gritting my teeth and smiling through a pedicure while my germ-conscious alarm bells scream in my head. Yes, some nail techs have done a better job with paint than others. But, I've never had an unacceptably poor paint job. If I was going to give a rating strictly for polish on a scale of 10, doing my own I typically can turn out a 5, usually the nail techs at GNO Nails turn out a 9 or 10, and once I was slightly disappointed and would've rated it a 7. That's still better than what I can do myself. I've brought friends in several times without hesitation and they've always been pleased as well. read more

I feel bad for rating them only 1 star because my first visit to GNO Nails was a few weeks ago for a pedicure and I had a great experience. However, I will never go back there after my experience last Sunday. I went in for a pedi and a gel manicure. I should have known by how the pedi was going NOT to let this guy do my gel mani but I thought, how bad can it be? Horrible!! Worst gel manicure I've ever gotten. He did not pay attention to detail at all. When I pointed out some places he missed for cleaning up my cuticles he responded that my skin was really dry. Although I do agree with him on that, the previous places I've been to never seemed to have a problem with cleaning them up. It's been 2 days and the gel polish is bubbling up and pulling away from my nails. Not to mention, the polish just looks sloppy in general. I could've done a better job myself. Very disappointed and such a waste of $30. read more
