Terrible customer service. I called to update my billing account, and the lady tried to rush me off the phone. I said wait, I need to update my address too! Then she dismissed me again, like she couldn't wait to hang up, so I allowed the call to end. Massages do truly make the best gifts! I was gifted a 60 minute massage from a friend that is a member here. I didn't have much luck with online booking so I made a phone call. I really thought I was going to have to book far in advance but I was lucky that one of the massage therapists had added more openings. Fast forward to my massage day, my massage was on time and Riley was amazing. She asked a few questions in the beginning of my massage but then was quiet after that. She had just told me if I need any pressure changes to let her know. She used a nice firm pressure and I really appreciate just having a quiet, affective, relaxing experience. Unfortunately, it's not possible to give a negative score. I received a gift card for my birthday in December and booked an appointment online for January. When I arrived they said I didn't have an appointment. Needless to say, I was disappointed. But we set up an appointment for 3:30 on Feb 22nd. the receptionist even gave me an appointment card when I asked for it. I showed up 15 minutes early on February 22 and waited in the empty lobby for over 10 minutes with no one in sight. When the young woman finally came up to the front desk she said I had no appointment scheduled. I had taken time off of work to get to the appointment and again, I was very disappointed and frustrated. The young woman, having absolutely no people or service skills, was more focus on how my frustration was affecting her than to show me any compassion or hear me out...and then threatened to call 911. I never raised my voice, but I was speaking with frustration in my voice. To be threatened to have the police called was ridiculous and the worst case of customer service ever. Deceptive business practices. This was my second time here. I realized on my own that, if you book a 60 minute appointment (for example) you are actually paying for a 50 minute massage (or less) plus 10 minute consultation (regardless of if the entire 10 minutes is needed or not). They do not tell you this. It is not posted anywhere in the spa or anywhere noticeable online. I think it's a pretty significant thing to let the customers know about up front. Sure, "Up to 50 minute massage with 10 minute consultation" doesn't sound good, but at least it's honest vs. "60 minute massage" I only needed a 3 minute consultation; my massage from undress to off the table was 47 minutes. I was in the room for 50 minutes total. I paid for a 60 minute massage. Someone should have just let me know ahead of time; I would have still gotten the massage. The fact no one - neither the front office staff nor the masseuse - let me know on both occasions is deceptive. I'm not the only one who had this problem either. I love Riley, but I've had multiple massage therapists here. This is my go to spot I don't go to other Massage Envy locations. The staff are always very professional and courteous. I always feel super relaxed. Getting massages has become a part of my self care routine. Do yourself a favor and do the same. I have had more than 100 massages in my life due to car accident injuries and back pain and I've been to 7 or so different Massage Envy locations. (see my other reviews) This one is definitely the best Massage Envy of all the ones I've been to. Quality can vary widely at other locations, but I've never been unhappy here. The front desk staff are always pleasant and competent and the massage therapists have always been good or great, both in technique and demeanor. James did an excellent deep tissue and Kurt did a great medium-deep. Excellent value. Only wish they had more therapists as I've called several times hoping they had an opening that day or the next and they were booked for several days out. read more

Ever time I called however they were booked and then when I was finally able to schedule an appointment they wanted my credit card to hold the spot!! i received a gift card and had my massage, after my card was used up, I did become a member and have extremely pleased w Staff and massage therapists! Some months are difficult to get an appointment on occasion. That so far has been the only difficulty, Cannot say enough about the hard working therapists, they show strength, care, and concern for ea client! Also anytime I get a gift card for Massage envy I can use it for my next months payment. Makes massage much more affordable. Worst customer service ever. Booking wrong appointment dates, no apologies. Terrible manager/customer relations. They don't care about the customer, just getting their money. If you want to give this to someone as a gift don't buy a gift card for more than one massage. It's confusing and compliccated and you have to instruct the person on what to use first (voucher or gift card). Also, the 1st time is cheaper and I was told to use the free voucher first which would mean the gift card I gave would only be enough for one more massage. They also talk too fast and try to get you to become a member and talk about member rates when you just want to by a massage for someone and not be bothered with a sales pitch and don't want to have to give instructions to the person you are giving the gift to have them get a sales pitch when they go in. The 2nd time he booked an apponitment they asked him about membership on the phone again. 20 minutes before his appointment I called wthem and explained it was for a gift, that he's under a lot of stress and I didn't want them to ask him about membershaip nd gave him this gift to help him relax, giving them his appiontmetn time and name. They assured me they wouldn't ask him about it and sure even, they did. He doesn't even want to use the last part of his gift card. read more
