    All I can say is amazing!!! Winna and her husband recently took over the business and have big dreams to build it. Disregard the bad reviews on this business- it is under new ownership who take pride in their work. Winna gave me the Deluxe Pedicure ($46) with sea salt scrub, hot towel treatment and an amazing massage. She was so welcoming and friendly - not something I always experience upon entry into busy nail establishments. She made me feel like I was the only client she had. My toes look incredible at the end. If you are looking for a BIPOC owned, woman-owned establishment for your nails, look no further. Mini Nails will not disappoint. PRO TIP: If you can make time to visit Monday through Friday 10 am to 4 pm, there will be more availability. As it is a new business they are hiring staff and are currently a two person team. Also, bring cash if you can. As a small business they have to transfer a small processing fee to you if you use a card,

    By far my most favorite nail salon in Minnesota. I moved here about a year ago, and have not been able to find a nail salon that is as professional, polite, and just amazing at their jobs! As well as super friendly. They instantly remembered me the second time I called to make an appointment! Also, their work is beyond amazing.

All I…read morewanted was a relaxing pedicure and I was willing to spend the money to get a pedicure and all the additional add on's, including a foot massage. I am one to normally get the basic pedicure. I have never experienced a faster service in my life. Even the basic pedicure's i've had haven't been this fast before. I paid for the Deluxe pedicure which included an exfoliate scrub, mask w/hot towels and a hot stone massage along with the regular polish. The description also said 10 minute foot and leg massage. I got into the chair at 1:35 and got moved at 1:55 to head to the drying table. For a deluxe pedicure i was not expecting that fast of service and I never got a 10 minute foot massage. Most places i've gone to set a timer. She rubbed both my legs combined total of 4 mins.. She painted my toes very fast and then she moved me to the table for them to dry this is when it went downhill fast. I was already irritated about the fast service but i am not one to complain. So i was just going to eat the $52 and go on with my day. While i was sitting there a few people came in and were sitting in the waiting area and the owner had her child (i would say she's age 7) in the salon with her, she was very active up front talking with people and there was a another little girl (a customers daughter) around her same age. They were playing with the customers daughter's umbrella talking and hanging out. I was minding my business and annoyed at the service I just experienced when another 2 people head into the salon. They went to go sit down after being checked in with the other people waiting for their service. That's when the owners daughter heads to the back room of the salon and comes out with her iPad and while she walks towards the waiting area yells "aww there's no room for me". She says it very loudly and one of the ladies that sits down moves over to make room for the little girl. The little girl sits next to her... What comes out of that little girl's mouth next shocked me to my core... The little girl looks at this lady and goes "I don't like brown customers", "I don't like brown people or customers". All of us look at each other shocked at what just came out of that little girls mouth. We all look over at Mom and one of the ladies gets up and goes "Did you hear what your daughter just said" and the salon owner says NOTHING and CHUCKLES as she continues on with a pedicure... They all get up and leave and the salon owner did NOTHING to rectify the situation... Unfortunately, that is behavior that she learned or was taught.. Unexpectable and incredibly saddening.. As soon as that happened I was so mad and shocked that I went up to my nail person and go "I would like to pay". She meets me at the counter and she tells me the total is $52 and i was fuming from what I just experienced so I decided I was going to confront her respectfully about how I felt the service was rushed and that I never got the 10 min massage that was stated on the service. She said it was combined with the exfoliant and hot stone massage - which was a total of 4 mins. I would think that should be something that should be noted on the description and not labeled separately. Annoyed at her response I began explaining to her how I didn't feel like I experienced the service as was described and that it felt rushed. She looked at me like she didn't understand what I was saying and didn't do anything to rectify the situation. I unfortunately payed the $52 service but I didn't leave a tip nor will I ever be back.. All I wanted was to experience a good quality relaxing pedicure for the amount of money and I experienced a fast service and a racist environment.. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! ** side comment: When I left the salon everyone that left was still outside talking about what was just experienced. They were as shocked as me but to make matters even worse. The customers that were in the salon that left and who the little girl said those inappropriate comments too WERE REGULARS!!! ALL OF THEM

I sit in the chair and show the reference pic of a basic natural square french tip. Ken said he got it no problem. He begins my nails and was rough with the drill I let him know and he shoo'd me off and continued. I mentioned I wanted a medium pink powder before he laid any acrylic he said he will paint over it with a darker pink and it'll look like the pic. I mentioned the powder is really light specifically on my skin it looked like pink/white powder and he said he does things different and not like others and will be darker. We move forward, he files them and tells me to wash my hands I tell him it's a little uneven on my middle nails and he shoo'd me off again saying he will fix it later. When I get back he files it and that nail is significantly shorter than the rest but I let it go and then he begins painting my nails. I look at it before I put it in the dryer and he said no put it in the dryer I told him I wanted to check the color in case I didn't like it and he said no you check as i'm painting .. when I couldn't see it as he was painting them because how he was rushing. I said is there another pink to use because it didn't look natural and the pink he put on was practically red he told me no I said do you have a bubble bath he said "no we don't have any of that". and just kept going and kept dismissing me. I wanted to like them but I didn't. So I paid and as i'm heading to leave I see two different pinks and the pink powder that one of the other techs was using. So I went back and asked to speak to someone. I showed the manager the reference picture and mentioned what he told me the manager immediately corrected with "we do have more pinks and the pink powder etc I can redo them for you." He lied to me and did what he wanted to do on my nails. It seemed as though he was rushing to get me in and out because they were busy and didn't want to wait for the actual powder and polish that I wanted while also doing a sloppy job too. When the manager said they would fix them I was extremely understanding, and patient when she said to give her an hour but then I waited almost 3 hours for them to even get me back in the chair as they took multiple walk-in's. They had my money already and I wasn't a priority anymore. I got there at 3pm and finished with Ken at 3:45. and didn't actually ended up leaving until an hr past close at almost 7pm. When I asked for a refund while waiting to get taken care of, the managers' whole dynamic changed! She went from helpful to aggressive and was yelling to her coworkers in their language mentioning refund and even rushed the girl that was in her chair out to tell me to sit down so she can fix it because she wasn't going to give me a refund. She became condescending and rude to me and even tried arguing with me. It was a distasteful experience overall and It happened to be my first time here.
