I did a walk in for an acrylic gel dio manicure with 2 colors and it was great! I was in and out in 45 minutes. This is the first time I've been there and Nancy was fabulous! Very friendly atmosphere and the prices weren't too bad. My set was $45 before tip. I'll be going back for sure! read more

Writing this review to warn others. I got my nails done two weeks ago, by day 2 four of my acrylic nails had already fell off and the others were lifting. The lady who did them didn't prep my nails, cut my cuticles, and even cut my nails crooked after I asked if she could fix them. I was very disappointed being that I've never been charged $70 for nails that didn't even last a week. I live two hours away so unfortunately I wouldn't have time to drive back to get the nails fixed. read more

Very terrible customer service, breakdown in communication and they are a total rip off. There's absolutely no coordination between the ladies working there. My mom had just arrived from out of state to visit me and we decided to get our nails done because I had just gotten engaged 3 days prior and wanted a nice manicure to show off my ring with. The people here were rude, not personable, and blatantly ignorant of customer service. I was not offered to sit next to my mother and was hauled off to the other side of the salon by a lady. This same lady assured a customer who had just walked in that she would do her pedicure in five minutes...I had just been seated. You bet that if I am going to a nail salon, I expect more than five minutes attention or I would just do them myself. She did not trim my cuticles, soaked my hands for less than one minute, used no base coat, scolded me for "already filing my nails" and left paint on my hands. I was done in five minutes and sent on my way. My mother had it even worse. As I was drying my nails, the lady was telling her to pay ahead, which she did, then she asked for two dollars more since mine was a French. All I did was ask my mom what she said and this lady began yelling at her about the price. We repeatedly explained that we had no problems with it and that she was just telling me what was said. The woman was visibly angered and my mom told her to calm down. She only got more angry and continued yelling about the price and after this had gone on for a while she began to talk (about us presumably) in her native tongue and walked away. My mother ended up doing her own nails and no one said a word to us. We went to walk out and still not a word!!! So we asked to talk to someone and a guy came up and explained to us the price thing again. I had to step up and give a customer service speech after which he redid my mom's nails. He was the only redeeming quality but I would still rather pay forty dollars at a spa than deal with this place again. Never go here!! read more

I went here for a pedicure and fill/manicure. The pedicure was good and the lady that did my feet was very courteous and professional. Unfortunately when I was handed off to the man at the front for my manicure, the good vibes all changed. The man was very curt and at times downright rude. He was also very unprofessional. After he put the acrylic fill on, I told him my nails needed to be trimmed, they were too long. He didn't ask me how short, he just filed down my nail (more than halfway) with the drummel and then shows me the nail and asks if this is OK. I said if it wasn't ok, it was too late to do anything now. Then when I washed my hands before he put on polish, I put on some hand lotion. When he saw what I did, he got angry and told me not to do that and roughly rubbed my nails with acetone cotton pad to remove. The remainder of my manicure we sat in stony silenced and when it was done, he told me, "Go sit over there." No thank you for your business. Well he won't be getting anymore of my money, nor will De Paris Nails while he is employed there. If you're looking for a professional nail salon with courteous staff that has an eye for quality, a few miles away is Happy Nails on Snelling Ave near Jefferson. read more

This place was absolutely terrible, I've never been to a nail salon that charges a fee to fix a broken nail let alone a 5$ fee. If I could give this no stars at all I would totally do it!! The lady wasn't even a certified nail tech because she seemed confused with what she was doing. She didn't even match my nail shape or the size of the same finger on the other hand. I only happened to stop in for a quick fix that ended up being a disaster leaving my nail horrible looking along with super glue all over my finger along with a cut on my finger as well. She than proceeded to have the nerve to ask if I wanted a pedicure I immediately said "no thank you I only came for a nail fix". Totally not worth the short trip for a nail fix. read more

I mostly come here for the cheap wax's and still will but for any nail services I'll pass. My last visit I got a gel mani I was happy with my nails (that's why I give them 2 stars) but the girl just did not want to be there. The hand massage was lame! The massage should be the best part but they're in such a hurry to get you in and out. The the place was empty so she could have took her time but no. And it's not the first time. I want my $75 back!! Gel Polish came off toes when I put sandals on, Almost like it didn't adhere. Polish was on my cuticles and he cut too far down causing my fingernail to bleed. Nails were filed crooked. I told him. He said not to worry he'll file once polish is on!!! WHAT!!! And that's exactly what he did. They don't line their bowls with plastic for hygiene! Left a message with employee at opening, for manager to call me. No call. I called back later in the day. She said she has been busy and couldn't call. I explained why I want my $$back. By far the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Customer service was horrible and the salon was dirty. I spent over two hours in there. Waited for about an hour soaking my toes until someone finally did my pedicure. My 4 year old daughter was supposed to get her nails painted as well and the staff's rude behavior made her feel so uncomfortable that she decided not to get them painted. The guy Kevin I think his name is rude. I had messaged him two weeks prior to wanting to get my nails done at the his shop. He had a picture posted on his Facebook I asked him if he could do it he said yes come in. When I came in he did not even greet me. He started putting dots on my nails and I express to him that I did not like it he said oh you'll like it in the end. When he got done I told him I don't like it. I paid him he had an attitude never apologized and continue to ignore me. He only wants to be praised he doesn't have good customer service he never feels the need to say sorry. He tells you if you don't like it don't come back to his shop because he's only about the money. The good news is the lady took her time. The bad news is she was rude. First nobody had masks on when I arrived and sat down. So I said, oh so I don't need to wear a mask! She said oh yes you have to. Then she put hers on. Then began to talk in her language and I could tell it wasn't nice plus she was laughing. She complained about my ingrown toe nails many times. After reading reviews many people questioned the cleanliness of the salon and if they disinfect the tools. I questioned it too. I asked if they have unscented lotion and she said no they only have one and it's lavender...as I'm staring at plenty of lotion bottles that are clearly all different. They don't use liners in their bins, the water was very hot, the hot towel was so bad I think they warmed it up even more in the microwave to burn me. The overall service was so so as I wasn't too excited about the symmetry of the nail when complete. This was the most horrendous experience. The woman doing my nails was literally looking at my feet like they were the an insult to her existence and mentioned to me that it was obvious I had not had a pedicure recently-fair enough my feet were in rough shape and I wear boots to work and it was my first pedicure of the season but this is her job and she was extremely rude about it and obviously talking trash to her co workers about it-and laughing at my feet like a bratty teenage girl-The water was cooler then luke warm and I asked her to warm it up twice and it was still uncomfortably cool. The customer service was horrible and I have usually had great service from other nail salons on South Robert. I usually tip over 20% for a good pedicure but that lady didn't deserve a dime-either her employer treats her badly and she is bitter and hates her job or her customer service skills simply suck big time. I recommend no one go here it was FAR FROM a pampering relaxing experience of which a pedicure should be-THE WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE!!!! read more

I had taken my sister to get her fake nails removed because they were bothering her, the lady that was taking them off started to rip them off her finger nails and she bled right after. The lady had asked my sister if I was related to her and she rolled her eyes. I was planning to get my nails done and trying on colors to see which one I liked best, but the same lady that had been working on my sisters nails came up to me and yelled me and said I wasn't able to try them out. I've never been to a nail salon were they've told me I wasn't able to try colors on, except for this one. So I told her never mind I'm not going to get them done. Worst customer service, if you really want to get your nails done go to Lena Nails. They have such friendly staff and they talk to you as you are getting your nails done but they are also cheap! Worst service ever. Everything was rushed and sloppy. And all I got was a gel polish change. The lady who was doing my nails filed them all rugged and uneven. I kept asking her to file off the lil sharp pieces on the top. I got the gel mood polish. I got big balls of polish underneath my nails. Not the lil pieces you can pick off. She got paint all around my fingers, didnt clean it off. Gel cures and its hard to get off? It has been a week and it is still there! She missed all the sides of my nails, I even asked a girl who was waiting how they looked and she said they looked horrible. Another lady at the shop said she was trying to make the paint more "round." it looks stupid when you can see your plain nail all around the gel. Then, I made the mistake of having her do my eyebrows. She had an attitude and shoved my head back when I was looking in the mirror. She missed all kinds of hairs and I tried telling her, so she attempted to fix it (after she shoved my head back and plucked viciously) and i still had stray hairs everywhere, so i said forget it. When she was done attempting to "fix my nails" she just got up and didn't even say "goodbye" or "thank you." Needless to say I will not be returning to this chop shop. read more
