Absolutely filthy. Not only if the place dirty so are the nail techs. Soiled clothing unkeot nails ect. My nail tech was nasty and sarcastic. Not a pleasant experience. They also charge 3.99% if you pay with a card. Would definitely not recommend this place. read more

I took my daughter here for her 16th bday. We both got full acrylic sets. This was our first time there and it was terrible. Dirty place, the lady doing my daughter's nails cut her cuticles multiple times. Her nails look chunky and uneven. My nails are even worse. I showed the man a picture and they should have been coffin shaped. They are wide and rounded and nothing like the pic i showed him. He told me to hurry and pick a color cause he was not trying to be there all night as he wanted to go to the state fair. My nails also look chunky and weird. It was a very long appointment and once we got in daylight and looked at each other's nails, we didn't have time to go back to get them fixed. We will never ever go back. read more

I've been going there for years and have always been satisfied. Very competent and friendly staff. Prices are reasonable, actually a bargin compared to other salons. I am surprised at times to see people give such a small tip. My thoughts are if you can't afford to tip well, do it yourself! read more

I'm a little new to the manicure/pedicure scene, but I do know when something is not good. The prices were super cheap, which I liked. The reception and greetings were short and not very friendly though. I didn't have to wait long at all (no more than two minutes) to get started on a French manicure. However, the salon was dirty and cluttered. My nails weren't filed evenly and I didn't receive a top coat. The woman sent me over to the the dryer and said to wait for 10 minutes. She walked away and I didn't have a clock to monitor how long I was there. I will not be going back. Or getting a manicure. read more

SCAM- beware!! I went to Oscar Nails for my first time ever & was very disappointed overall. I showed up right at the time Of my appointment, only to wind up waiting another 10+ minutes. When the technician finally came over to me she explained that my spot was given up because I was late and they didn't know if I was was going to show up. I told her that the clock was wrong and it was at least 10 minutes ahead so they might want to change that. They had me soaking for my pedicure while I waited but the water was lukewarm at best. Finally they came and heated up the water and were nice enough about it. By the time they were able to do my pedicure, I didn't have much time so I chose the basic pedicure which was listed as $25. I did the gel polish because I had to run as soon as they were done. I had heard a lady speaking with the nail technician about what she charged her and was questioning how she came to that total amount I am. I didn't think much about it but something felt off. When she was done with my nails, the lady told me that I ordered $40. I picked up the sheet to show her that it's a $25 and asked her how she came up with that amount. She told me that Gel was an additional $15 and she didn't tell me that because she figured I knew. I told her no I've never in my life seen a $15 up charge for gel polish I said that's ridiculous. I said usually gel is a five dollar up charge or at the absolute most, and a super high end nail salon, maybe out of state, would be $10. Never $15. The lady was not willing to budge and was clearly scamming to make additional money. Against my better judgment, I still tipped her. I will never in my life go to the salon again. I can't stand when a salon takes advantage of you by throwing in these ridiculous up charges, but this is the worst I've seen yet. I may have been OK with it had she done a phenomenal job and taking her time but this was the most basic pedicure I've ever received. I will NEVER go here again. read more

I'm writing this as I sit at home, two hours later, still fuming. My sister and I decided to treat ourselves after a long week. I went for a gel manicure, she went for a pedicure. When we walked in we were told there was no wait for either a manicure or pedicure, yet I received my entire manicure before my sister received her pedicure, though she had her feet soaking unattended for over 40 minutes in water that quickly turned cold. My experience getting a gel manicure was horrible. I got the gel manicure and I had a man helping me throughout the ordeal. By the end of him "trimming my cuticles"/cutting my skin the SECOND TIME I was bleeding from three nails and the rest of my fingers were throbbing. I mentioned multiple times that I was bleeding (profusely especially considering it was from a cuticle) and all that he did his pour rubbing alcohol on my fingers and continue which made them burn and throb. And he tried to tell me that if I wasn't so stiff it wouldn't have happened (of course you tense up when you're in pain) but he never apologized. He then buffed my nails and painted them, all while they were still bleeding. By the time I left I had Band-Aids on three fingers and already had skin peeling from my cuticle beds. My sister's pedicure, though it went long and I had to sit and wait in the car alone while upset and crying, seemed to be OK. Overall I would advise to not go to Oscars Nails as you will not be apologized to if they hurt you, and you will get a subpar manicure and/or pedicure. Also it should be noted that when my sister told him and another staff member that I was upset and still bleeding in the car (I was told) they laughed and told her they had ointment if I wanted to come back. Tldr; I will never set foot in Oscars Nails again and you shouldn't either. read more

Although I always make an appointment in advance, I notice that walk-ins never wait more than a couple minutes. The establishment is clean and inviting and the staff is very courteous. Terrible. I had Tony & he did an awful job on both my mani & pedi. To start: my nails weren't clipped/filed evenly. Then he failed to completely cover my nails with the base coat, color & topcoat. It looks awful - as though it was already grown out. Even after I asked him to touch a couple of nails up. He'd also told me to go ahead and put my socks/shoes back on after "testing" my toes & claiming they were dry (without ever having me sit under the fan). The bulbs in the fans need replaced at they weren't warm at all. My friend & I sat under the fans for 15+ minutes & both our fingers still smudged/chipped as did her toes. When we got home I took my socks & shoes off to find my pedicure had been a complete waste. It looked absolutely awful. When we called to ask for a refund they laughed in our ears. Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I won't be going back. Not at all worth what I spent. read more

yes so i have gone here for about 4 years and today i have decided i will never go there again. i asked for a fill so the lady starts ripping all my nails off, this was extremely painful and wold pull away cause it hurt so bad and she would get mad and pull harder... and i repeated about 5 times that i wanted a fill and she said yeah thats what she was doing?? ok what. then she proceeds to do my nails whatever but then at the end when she's putting top coat on theres black speckles all over my nails (unwanted) and she laughed and said it was fine. i am so irritated and honestly will never go back.. would not recommend read more
