I'm usually always satisfied, but the owner Nina is very rude and always looks mad! She's incredible unprofessional and makes me feel incredibly uncomfortable. I am a licensed cosmetologist. This is not a professional atmosphere. The nail technicians were eating in front of clients. Salon was doing eye brow waxing. (Most nail salons don't have licensing to do this, they must either have cosmetology license or esthetics license). The tech used the same metal implements on both my boyfriend and I. While the interior may be a little rough around the edges and could use a major face lift, the staff are friendly, helpful and good at what they do. $45 gel pedicure. Looks nice, but don't expect to be pampered. Not sure if they have more than one, I was not asked what I wanted. There was no explication, which is my favorite part. Called ahead and inquired about pricing. I made an appointment and upon completion of the service I was charged $20 more than told. I was not told during the service about being charged more for anything else. The mail tech decided to do something with my nails I didn't ask for and charged me for it. That is not ok!!! I don't mind paying more for extras that I request but I didn't request anything extra. On top of it they tell you to pay cash or they'll charge you for using your credit card. This review is more a be forewarned -- they make their own prices as they go!!! I was in from out of town and was a walk in-- to get a underarm wax -- and they lady said "sure I can do it" I looked around and couldn't find a price menu-- but I figured it couldn't be more than $20. My first clue should have been - there was no private room -- and I was placed in a "pedicure" chair for the underarm wax-- little embarrassing but oh well. The lady completed by underarm wax and really no extra prepping- power, etc - but she did wax and she did do the job! It's Sunday I'm writing this review My under arms still sore and bright red! She brought me to pay -- she is like "let's say $30" what? $30 dollars for underarm in a nail salon -- this wasn't even a fancy spa-- but my fault bc I didn't ask -- while she was trying to get the credit machine to work-- I walked around and found the menu on the wall with listed prices and no where was there listed prices For waxing! No prices for any type of waxing-- so beware -- ask for the pricing- I have gone to fancy salon and still paid under $25 -- and was pampered with powered dusting, aloe etc! I would skip this place for waxing all together unless you request a price up front! I did call to speak to someone to verify the price maybe think it was an error -- the lady that picked up and said well let me see how Much she will charge! Very Unprofessional! I have been going to Signature Nails for a few months for manicures and pedicures. I like my technician and love the quality of her work but most recently after a pedicure I developed a fungus infection on one foot spread over my entire body. Three doctors appointments, three prescriptions, and three weeks later I am still suffering the consequences from the pedicure gone wrong! The tub was not properly lined with a sanitary disposable tub liner nor does the salon properly sanitize its equipment. I have learned my lesson and will ask before I make an appointment regarding my next nail salon's sanitizing procedures. read more

My mom suggested this place to me so I decided to try it out. I asked if they were busy because I didn't want to wait but they just told me to "pick a color" I waited 20-30 minutes (on a horribly uncomfortable bench) for a technician. I bumped my knee right away when I sat down because the table was too low. My back hurt the whole time from leaning over. I showed her a picture of what I wanted but my nails look nothing like it. My technician was not gentle and made me bleed. She wasn't very friendly either. The color is basically see-through and my nail shape isn't what I asked for. I'm going to stick to where I went before. This place wasn't horrible, but I've been to better salons. read more

It is a typical nail salon, but what I didn't appreciate was how condescending and rude the technicians were. At first, I had three technicians come up to me asking what I was getting done. After saying mani and pedi three times, the woman brought me over. After she was talking with another technician, she asked, "you're getting just a manicure, right?" After saying no, she scoffed and said, "I asked you what you wanted and you said just a manicure". Then, after the pedicure, as I was getting my manicure by another technician, my toenail polish got bumped. The technician said, " I already put the color away" and acted like it was a huge inconvenience even though she was giving herself a pedicure at the time. The other technician also nicked my finger as she was cutting my cuticle and then said, "you need to scoot in closer, you're hurting my back". I wouldn't recommend this salon due to the technicians. Have tried this place twice since we moved to the neighborhood- first time was promising, I got the "Deluxe" with massage, but the polish started chipping after two days. Second time ( because thought i should give it a second try) I had a male do my pedicure and he was AWFUL, and start to finish: 25 minutes! Most disturbing though was the intense chemical smell that made it difficult to breathe! Not a clean salon, they obviously re-use the foot scrub brushes and didn't appear to clean between customers. I went in for a gel manicure and was charged for the price of a gel manicure. The polish chipped the second day. This was clearly not gel polish yet they still charged the full gel manicure price ($25) as opposed to the $12 basic manicure price. It was very frustrating to come in and want a gel manicure so that it lasts for an entire vacation and it doesn't but I paid the full price. read more
