QV Nails was just okay for my recent pedicure. I paid extra for the next level up, moisturizing stuff in the foot bath and extra massage time - and it was just okay. Staff if about what you'd expect - liked the mural wall art. They had on a typical Friday afternoon show. I didn't use the bathroom. Can't speak to cleanliness of the place based on that. I paid extra for cat's eye nail polish - and it really just looks like glitter polish, but $10 more expensive. Wish they would have told me it doesn't 'work' look good on toenails and I could have tried their nail art or just kept my $10 So it was $55 pedicure + $15 for upgrade + $10 for cats eye nail + 10% tip = about $90 for something I am pretty indifferent about kind of bummed me out a little. The thing that I kind of sit on the fence about is there was an older dog that seemed to have free roam of the place. I'm a dog person - so okay and I get it - BUT what about people with allergies? I didn't get a manicure, so maybe I'd try again but definitely not going out of my way to come again for the toes. Take a chance! read more

Never go here. I was quoted $48 for a fill and $30 for a toenail color change totaling 78.00... After my nails were done they told me I owed $100! I didn't get nothing extra! When I called them to talk to them about being overcharged instead of fixing the problem, they told me they were blocking me, and I was not welcome there anymore. I have been going here for a year and half now . John has done my nails every time and I'm ALWAYS HAPPY. He's a fucking pro at shaping nails . He's a perfectionist . My nails are always amazing . The other staff are great too but you know how it is when you find that perfect nail tech , you don't want anyone else . the pedicures are amazing . There's never a long wait . And there's never one if you schedule an appointment , I know it should be obvious but I've had appointments at other places and still had 15-20 minute waits .. so yeah lol . More of a 4 star for the pedicure I received and 2 star for mani. Pedicure was luxurious and relaxing and the colors to choose from were incredible! They have some amazing glitter polish options! Got tips with ombré dip polish on my nails. Color turned out beautiful, but had several issues with tech. Before I agreed to get a mani I asked if it was possible not to have the electric file/drummel and multiple employees said yes that's fine, except for the one tech who insisted on using it is the one I got. I said I wanted them pretty short and he said they look better long and it was a back and forth of me wanting them shorter and him not cutting them short enough because "little bit long better". I type all day at work and wear contacts. I don't typically have long nails so I didn't wanna fight with crazy long nails. The dip was really uneven. Couple nails were filed with a slant to them. I was ok with the end product cause the colors were so pretty, but I got them done on a Friday and the following Wednesday 3 popped off without me even realizing until I looked down and they were gone. Within 30 seconds I had the rest of them popped off without any effort or pain. That's not ok for nails I paid $55 for. They lasted 4.5 days. And don't try to tell me it's because the file was used enough because I request for that tool to not be used every time I get my nails done and this has never happened to me before. Pedicure color is still going strong. I'll probably return for a pedicure in the future but not sure about a manicure... read more

Just moved here and I came here to get my acrylics off and try Gels! Bunny was great - nice - patient - and took time on my nails. They got me right in, but I was also their first customer of the day at 10am haha clean environment - comfy chairs - and easy access location. I would definitely suggest them to anyone in the Chaska area if you are looking for good quality Gel nails. I haven't tried acrylics here yet.....but I might in the future. read more

I came here to have them soak off my acrylic nails that were a horrible mess. I had got done twice at Turbo Nails in Chaska (They left a big gap where acrylic was missing on 2 of my nails, refused to trim my cuticles and used dirty files and tools. Very rude too.) I had such a sweet lady soak my nails off- so my natural nail wouldn't be thin and breaking. She did THE BEST HAND MASSAGE too! The owner was there also and was very pleasant- even though they were closing in 20 minutes, they stayed open and gave me the full service. I can't wait to go back for a pedicure with the same woman to get a great foot massage too. They also speak English clearly. Bravo QV Nails! Super disappointed. Went in for a fill today and the tech put the thinnest scab of acrylic on and they were all uneven. I pointed out two nails that were particularly thin (down to my natural nail) she then added more acrylic so they are 4 times thicker than the other ones. Looks terrible. Less than 2 hours after I left and my pointer finger already has a giant crack on the side. I really wanted to like this place where it is so close to home. Guess I'll try a different spot. I have been going here for gel manicures and pedicures for 3 years. They do an excellent job.

I should preface this by saying I was in last week and had good quality service. However, today when we got there the front door was propped open. One of the employees (the manager?) kept leaving to have a smoke break in the back. Because doors were open on both sides, the entire salon smelled like cigarette smoke. As a person with asthma, by the time we left I was so sick to my stomach and needed to take my inhaler (from a trip to the nail salon!). Additionally, the same person who kept leaving for smoke breaks did my friends' nails. When helping her back to the drying station he set her Coach purse down precariously and it fell on her wet manicured hands, getting nail polish on it. Another employee handed me a file(!) to file the polish off, which we did not. Additionally, there were stray nail clippings under the foot rest and on the table. Where my friend got her manicure. Would take a sloppy mani/pedi over this place. Will not be returning. read more

First off I would consider myself a regular customer, I would be in about every two weeks to get a fill and or a pedicure. After this last trip I was looking back and realizing how awful of a job they have done consistently. Today I went in to get a color change gel. I ended up paying for a manicure with out asking or be told I was getting one, I had no clue I was getting one because I didn't receive any perks of a manicure that you would get anywhere else. NOT PROFESSIONAL, QUALITY SUCKS! If you want to try out this Salon for the first time, DON'T!!! (Might as well just toss your $$ out the window) The ONLY reason I went to this Salon was that my lady at MY REGULAR SALON was on Vacation. I sat down with Q, for a fullset. I told him how I wanted them. During the process he was not making them thick enough so I said in a very sweet tone, that I wanted them a little thicker, as I am very hard on my nails. He sat back in his chair and yelled telling me he knows how to do nails, he has been doing them forever, blah, blah, blah. I WAS SHOCKED! I touched his hand with my free hand (as a term of endearment) and said, "But you don't know how I like them" smiling the entire time, reminding him that he has never done my nails before. He continued the process with a rude attitude. (His poor wife was trying to calm him down) After I washed my hands and sat back down to have the clear top put on, he wouldn't even come back to do it. He left me sitting there until his wife was done with her client. She finished up and was sweet as can be. AND, 3 nails broke the next day!!! With nail salons being on every street corner (or it seems) you would think you would go out of your way to be nice to a first timer to keep their business and bring their friends etc. I have been doing my nails for 26 years, and have NEVER been treated so POORLY! I would give this place 4.75 stars. I went with my daughter and they did a fabulous job on both our pedis. I had a gel manicure done too. Went on Sunday afternoon to get my nails done. Service was done very quickly, the man who helped me was ok (he really didn't speak to me much). I ended up not liking my nails and will be paying to get them off. I was going for a natural look and they are white and I don't like them.I will not be returning to QV nails.
