I went to Cedar Nails today to get a fill done. ( I have arcylic nails) I was able to make an appointment and get within the 30 minutes that I called. It was a little busy but, the people who worked there were doing their best to provide great service and get everyone seen as soon as they could. I think the prices are compareable to other places. I am going to go to this place again. It seems there were a lot of regular customers who go there and that is always a good sign. read more

This by far is the worst nail salon I've ever been to .. The shape of my mail is horrific .. I asked her several times to fix it and she kept throwing paint on top and pushed my hand away and started screaming for me to leave . They can't do any designs nor shape nails in any way !!! read more

I have gone to Cedar nails off and on for years. Today was so bad I won't go back..thanks to Google maps, I found plenty of competition and can highly recommend Hemera Nails & Spa at Ridgedale. I was greeted and felt welcome. Received help finding my color and glitter top coat vs the owly no eye contact command at Cedar Nail "pick your color". The service was prompt and personable at Hemera. The water was warm and the pedicure took care of trouble spots without the painful rough nailfile scraping of cuticles as at Cedar. The water at Cedar was barely room temp and the technician avoided eye contact, thinking that would put me off. She said someone else would fix it..huh? Sat there while their water heater was heating the water...its like watching paint dry. I left, feeling behind and rushed in my day..a far cry from the pampering I was looking forward to. Bad attitude, bad service, poor client relations. This was my first time at Cedar Nails as I recently moved to the area. I was able to schedule an appointment for a pedicure within 45 minutes of my phone call on a Saturday afternoon. The salon is clean, it was busy but not crowded. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The massage chairs are comfortable and I picked a polish that was brand new. Helen began my pedicure then I was switched to June. They were both kind and welcoming. June was courteous and extremely professional. She gave me a great pedicure. I will be returning. Cedar Nails do not treat equally their clients! I had an appointment today, July 11, 2021, for 1.25 pm. The appointment was made by my partner, and he was on speaker, so we both heard the appointment time gave to me from Cedar Nails. I had to wait 35 minutes before I decided to leave, just to see how other customers have been taken before me. A very unpleasant experience with Cedar Nails service. She is super sweet and has been keeping my acrylics on point - not too thick, like other places I have been. I've been there 3 times. Every time, the technician didn't wash her hands before starting on my nails. She also cut me all 3 times and never apologized. I complained to the owner and she was rude and argued that it can't be helped. They have very dirty practices there. read more

I was in the area so I dropped in today. The salon was busy but there were a few employees sitting waiting for appointments. When I was at the desk it took awhile for anyone to acknowledge me. When I asked if they could get me in there was quite a bit of talk --- unfortunately in a language I could not understand. Then the gentleman walked away and a woman came up, more talk. They did get me in but I could not believe the attitude of the employees. No one spoke to me all during my appointment. Except when they said they could get me in. I will never go back because of the way I was treated. Come on people speak to your clients and treat them like you want their business, not like they are disrupting your day! Also, a little English would go a long way. As clients, it feels like you are just sitting there talking about us. And yes... When I asked her what she was doing she got an attitude. Starting talking in whatever language. I kept asking her questions and she just ignored me! I've been going to Cedar Nails for years and have always had good service. Until today. I picked out a color and had my gel manicure with absolutely no communication from my technician. She stayed silent the whole time. I didn't even know a "cat eye" nail polish existed and was unaware the the color I had chosen was "cat eye". When my technician began using a magnet on my nail polish I asked her what that did and she just smiled with no answer. Another tech was near and told me that it was cat eye. As I go to pay my total was more then normal. When I asked about it my technician wasn't able to answer and brought another tech to help. I was then informed that I needed to pay extra for the "cat eye" technique. When I told the 2nd tech that I wasn't told there would be an extra charge she motioned for my tech to keep running my card. I asked what total they were running and she said $35 (cat eye fee). I advised again that I hadn't been told about the extra fee. She became very angry and rude and said that most people don't complain over $5 but since I was she charged $30 and that now I was making her have talk to her manager and that her manager would be upset. I told her that it wasn't the money that it was the principal and that they should make sure to make people aware of any extra fees. She again bit my head off and said that most customers wouldn't complain over $5 as she turned her back to me as I'm thinking, most CUSTOMER FRIENDLY business wouldn't complain over $5 either. I tried one more time with her and told her that I really wasn't trying to be difficult and she then stormed off. I've never been treated this rudely ever!! This place has been my go to as it is so close to my home and I've brought numerous friends there but I will never go back after being treated this way. $5 is $5 but it's the principal that matters. read more

Cedar Nails is one of my favorite places to go to get a pedicure. They are always able to get me in quickly, I appreciate that as other places I have to wait longer than I'd like. There is not a lot of thrill to their pedicures and I'm okay with that. They do a great job with the massage on my feet. But what I really appreciate is their attention to detail when it comes to painting my nails. The finished product is always top notch and to me that's most important. I usually just get a standard pedicure with OPI polish and it lasts for weeks... sometimes even months but I'm not hard on my toes. Three weeks ago (3/16) I took two friends and we all decided to get gel pedicures and gel manicures. My toe nails still look like they were just painted yesterday. My finger nails also look really good, you can see the growth but I chose a neutral color so you can only see if you look up close. I only have one small chip on one of my right nails (I'm right handed so it makes sense). I've gotten gel manicures other places and they only hold up for about 10days. I cannot believe I got 21 days!! I plan to go in tomorrow (4/7) and have them put a fresh coat on my nails. This crew is worth every penny! read more
