The only reason I took a star off is because the address is wrong. It is not next to cub but the next strip mall over. This almost caused me to give up when I was going there. Other than that it's great! I was a walk in for a pedicure. Had to wait 30 mins which was totally fine. The person did a fabulous job on my feet. Super nice salon and decorated very cute. When I called for an appointment, I asked for the price of the least expensive pedicure. I was told $35. Today I again requested the $35 pedicure. The employee showed me a brochure (without prices) of pedicure options. I again requested the $35 pedicure. She said "Ok. The basic pedicure". A few minutes later she told me the color I picked was discontinued, but she had another one just like it. At the end of the visit she requested $50 due to the change in nail polish. She said she had used a gel polish--$15 more. I paid it, but I feel that she set me up, took advantage of me, and used poor business practices. She ripped me off. Shame on her! I will not be returning to Impress Nails. Buyer beware! read more

Five stars any day and every day! This team is amazing! I have been coming here on and off over the past few years and they are still the best! My mother, grandma and I came here every few months for the first year and a half; then grandma got sick and we slowed down. But they still ask about her every time; even though we haven't been here in almost a year and she hasn't for a couple years now. Unfortunately this time when they asked; it brought a smile but a little tinge of pain as she passed in February. But knowing that they remember her (us too) means the world. I don't treat myself as often as I should; but I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pedicures. These folks are truly wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone!! And this time I brought my 6 year old daughter with me for her first pedicure and they did awesome with all of her questions and wanting to know step by step. Love these folks!! Highly recommend!! So I was looking for a new place to get a pedicure so I tried this place out and it was AMAZING! I would say it was one of the best pedicures I ever had. I got the deluxe pedicure and I was there for over a hour they took their time and they were so nice! Very relaxing very nice and clean! I normally don't write reviews on places but I had to for this place The Deluxe pedi was 38$ and I feel it was well worth it! She did 2 types of scrubs and massaged my legs and feet for a long time and then she put this lotion on my feet wrapped it in hot towels and went back a massaged my legs with oil! And my bail polish came out very nice! read more

As of today, I am done with Impress Nails Salon in Rosemount, due to yet another bad and most undesirable experience. I have been to this salon a number of times, always going home with mixed feelings, wishing it was better. The salon is close to where I live; perhaps it is the convenience factor which has kept me going. Sadly today, though, they grossly under-delivered in service, professionalism and courtesy and I shall simply not return. Here is why they are getting only 1 star: Poor Quality: Pedicures are usually mediocre, at best. Many of the nail colors they offer for you to pick from are old, stale and dried up. Many are out of date. A sad and pitiful display, really. Therefore, I have always brought my own colors. Nail Techs seem inexperienced and some are clumsy. Often, the work done is superficial. And they skimp on things, you can tell. Poor Communication: Verbal interaction with the employees at this salon is a huge challenge. They do not speak, nor understand English very well. The last pedicurist I had, was like... gosh, how can I say this nicely? The girl did not understand a single thing I tried to communicate to her. (Regrettably, I do not speak their native language). There was huge confusion about me wanting to get artificial nails with a gel manicure. She did not understand. The owner jumped in to help clarify and she (the owner, Judy) then proceeded to apply acrylic nails /gel manicure. Lack of Professionalism: Sadly, during the procedure of the manicure, the shop owner was very impatient with me and somewhat condescending and rude. That's never acceptable in any service situation. At the end of the procedure, she told me to make an appointment in roughly two weeks, for a 'fill' manicure. Which brings us to today, two weeks later. I called to set up an appointment, very early this afternoon. Since Judy was snippy and unprofessional with me while doing my acrylics previously, I asked for the male (Billy) to do my manicure today. Apparently he is the only other person at the salon, who does acrylics/gel manicures. I also wanted to get a color change on my toes. Judy said I could come in today. She instructed me to come at 4:45 to get the color change for my toes and then Billy would do a nail fill manicure at 5:00 pm. I rearranged my entire afternoon to be able to take the appointment, she had offered. Lack of Courtesy and Poor Planning: As agreed, I arrived at 4:45 and was told to have a seat in the reception area. (It was a super busy day for me and I was looking forward to having a relaxing hour at the salon). A pedicure chair for the color change was never offered to me, while waiting in the reception area. 20 minutes went by. The salon was hot and uncomfortable. Finally, shortly after 5:00 pm, Judy decided to inform me that they are running late, as they had several "walk-in customers" in front of me, which had yet to be taken care off. Judy suggested I could come back later, in 1-2 hours. Why, could she not have told me this, when I got there? Very frustrating!! I was stunned and did not know what to say. What was the point of setting up an appointment to begin with???? Obviously, they do not value their clients, nor a clients time. And seemingly, they do not care about the customers feelings. The shop owner simply and very shortly said, "Sorry Lisa", as I left the store, feeling rather dismayed. What a waste of my time!!! Nothing was offered to me, no coupons or discounts, no "come back another time and well take better care of you", absolutely nothing! Moving forward, I will no longer give them my business. Nor would I ever recommend this flaky, unprofessional salon to any friends, family members, colleagues, neighbors, acquaintances and associates. Poor customer service, poor quality nail polish, extremely poor communication, poor planning, flaking out on customer appointments, the salon is usually uncomfortably hot... I do not believe they have any AC. They fail in so, so many ways... I cannot recommend them! read more

I've been to them twice now and I'd recommend them. They are fast, but yet take the time to make sure that things are done right. I had good experiences with both manicures and pedicures. The price is very reasonable. $25 for a gel polish manicure and $35 for a luxury pedicure. Wonderful job! Very clean shop too. read more

Have been here a couple of times for a full acrylic set. The first time it was good, I lost a couple of nails but I am always really hard on nails. The second time over half of the nails chipped or broke off very easily within a week. They were thin and brittle. I will not being going here again. read more
