i was absolutely stunned at this place (in only the best ways possible). i came w some pretty f*cked up nails and my nail technician was SO amazing. she was gentle, taking the old acrylic off, cleaning up my cuticles that were also all messed up (as in i picked them bloody). she took her time getting the shape and finding the colors i wanted, and knew exactly what i wanted. this was acrylic full set (with removal of old acrylic on some nails) and gel french tip w diff colors and it was only $55 !!!! I wish I read the other reviews before going here - it was straight up gross. A full on bacteria convention. My nails chipped right away - usually I would go back and get it fixed but there was no way I was going to return to that dump. One gal was eating chicken wings in the pedicure chair between customers and another wore the same gloves for 3 clients and to answer the phone and handle money. So unless your name is Listeria, Staph, or MRSA, I would avoid this infection convention. read more

Please do not go here. I went for a pedicure on my birthday and wish I'd not just trusted the Google reviews and had read Yelp. The place is absolutely gross and dirty everywhere, the staff is really unprofessional and literally talking openly about you and pointing at you and laughing. If I could leave zero stars, I would. This place was absolutely disgusting and completely unprofessional. Nothing was clean or sanitary when we arrived. Three different employees with visibly dirty gloves touched my hands during my service, which is beyond unacceptable for a nail salon. While I was getting a gel manicure, the nail tech repeatedly walked away to work on other customers' feet, leaving me sitting there mid-service. I requested a deep pink glitter, and what I received looked nothing like the swatch they showed me -- the opacity and color were completely off. The situation got even worse during my sister's appointment. When she politely asked the nail tech to fix a few uneven shapes on her almond-shaped dip manicure, the tech literally threw a tantrum, raised her hands in the air, and stormed away. This place used to be great when we started going a year ago. The past few visits have resulted in my acrylic sets lifting off of my nail and not even reaching full coverage of the nail itself. When you need to get your set removed, they literally take an off hand acrylic to slide under and pop them off. This is very concerning!!! Not only that but pricing is inconsistent. I would not recommend. They did not do callous treatments, barely exfoliated my feet after paying for spa pedicure. The technician cut my cuticle bad enough to bleed during manicure, and she just sped through manicure from there. No lotion, left polish on my skin and poorly filled in edges. Which was frustrating and I was unhappy, but at that point just wanted to get out of there, I still tipped 15%. Then the technician followed me out into the parking lot and would not leave my car window until I gave her $7 since she had mischarged me for a basic pedicure instead of the spa, which she had not completed . I was embarrassed and upset from my cut so I just paid. And then I got home and looked at the quality on my toes which was frankly rude especially on my pinky toe- I will be calling for a refund. read more

Terrible customer service. I was a loyal customer here for several years, coming in every few weeks. I didn't necessarily always go to the same person but I live in walking distance and so it was convenient. Last week I got a dip manicure and within a few days several nails had badly chipped. I went back to ask to get the nails fixed and the staff couldn't have been ruder about it. The woman called over every employee to examine my nails and grow out and it felt like they were accusing me of trying to get a free manicure. It was so uncomfortable and rude. I'll never go back. I've never written a help review before, good or bad, but my experience had me feeling upset enough to do so. read more

My normal nail salon didn't have any openings tonight so I stopped in here, since it was on my way home. The salon was empty, with only 1-2 other customers during a peak time. Their "dip" price of $40 does not include a manicure. That's extra. My nail tech only applied 1 layer of dip powder (2-4 is normal from my experience.) I also have bright red dip powder stuck to the bottom side of my fingers, which they said was "normal" and will come off in a few days after washing. Dont bother making an appointment, you'll end up waiting anyway, just sign in when you arrive to get your name on the list. I usually get a shellac manicure and they always do a nice job; mine usually end up lasting 2 solid weeks. The place is fairly clean for a nail salon, plenty of magazines and big massage chairs for pedicures. It is also always packed, full of ladies (saturday & sundays are the busiest). I had this nail salon bookmarked so when I was in the hood, I decided to give it a whirl. It IS in Edina afterall.... I should have left right away because no one even acknowledged I was there for awhile. I finally told them I wanted a pedicure. They started running the water while I went to the bathroom. I came out, no direction on where to sit or anything, I just guessed where to sit. The water was not even the right temp for me but they, again, never asked. They did not ask if I wanted the massager on in the chair or anything. I honestly should have left at this point. He started in on my feet and at my usual salon, you can see them taking new tools out of packages but not here...Uh uh...No clue where he got the tools from and barely even used them anyways... Bottom line: I paid to get my nails painted and that's all. When I got home, took a shower, I had to ped-egg my feet myself. I did have a small spot on one foot that I wanted him to be careful of which I pointed out but that does not mean you can not pumice or do anything with the other foot or area.... Get this: He even painted my nails with my sandals on..Yepp.....He put my shoes on, and painted them with my shoes on. It was just awful, I don't even know why I tipped him, I just did... I had a lot of time to kill, so I decided not to put it off. They were getting so long I could barely type. My nail tech, Amy hit the trinity, Good, Cheap, and Fast. Pros: fast service, nice results, not frightfully expensive Cons: none-too-clean - they are seem to be re-using tools without properly sanitising them between customers (I covered my feet with anti-fungal cream when I got home), not particularly friendly or service-orientated. They seem to expect a fairly large tip relative to the cost of the treatment (but perhaps I was too easily intimidated into parting with my cash). Bottom line: my toes look great, but as a new comer to this city, I'd like to see what the competition is like. read more

I gave this place a try as a walk in on a Monday morning. The value is great! I had the $25 pedicure and the leg massage was fantastic. She did the best job on my callouses that I've ever had done, and they have a ton of OPI colors. My one gripe was after I was finished and left at the drying table, my pedicurist never came back to ask me to pay or tell me I could go. I sat there for half an hour looking out to find her (maybe she went to lunch?) until finally I had to ask someone else if I could pay. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather get the money out of the way as I'm drying so I can move on as soon as I'm ready. But I will certainly come back! read more

Hannah and Tina are both AMAZING!!! I cannot stress enough. Even with a line of people waiting, they will take their time and make sure you are happy. Details are everything here! I came here because my acrylics were done poorly at a different salon a week earlier. Acrylics are supposed to last 2-3 weeks however the salon I had gone to did a terrible job. I called and made an appointment with Hannah and she made my nails look 100% better than they were before! She took her time, made sure the nails were healthy, made sure all the small details looked good, and then painted them very well as well. Even though the store closed at the end, she did not rush and took her time and made sure they looked good and I was happy.
