I've been coming to Lumi Nail Lounge for quite some time for manicures, pedicures, and more recently, acrylic nails and fills. Unfortunately, my last several experiences have been disappointing. Almost every time I schedule an appointment, I end up waiting 10-15 minutes past my scheduled time because they're so busy accommodating walk-ins. I completely understand that salons get busy, but what's the point of making an appointment if it isn't respected? Once I finally get in the chair, the service feels rushed, and the quality of my nails has definitely suffered. My most recent visit was especially frustrating. I went in for a fill but was told I needed an entirely new set. My acrylics hadn't been on that long and seemed perfectly fine to me, but I trusted the professional's recommendation. What wasn't explained beforehand was that I would be charged separately for the removal AND the new full set. To make matters worse, the polish looks terrible. It's lumpy, has what appears to be air bubbles, and is so poorly cured that I can actually push the polish around on top of my nails. For a service that cost over $70 before tip, I expect much better quality. I really wanted to continue supporting Lumi because I've been a loyal customer, but it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify the prices when the quality and overall experience continue to decline. It feels like they're prioritizing getting as many customers through the door as possible rather than taking care of the ones who have made appointments. Unfortunately, I think it's time to start looking for a new nail salon. read more

Worst nail salon experience ever! I had a Fill done by "Harris" and he took every short cut possible. No two nails were the same length. He didn't have me wash my hands before polishing so the polish was rough and bumpy. He cured each coat for less than 60 seconds. He also put some clear polish on before the gel polish with no explanation why. From the time I sat down until the time stamp on my receipt it was 26 minutes. Two days later I had them re-polished elsewhere because he left such a gap it looked like I needed a fill. Also, after he did the Fill he took a cuticle clipper and cut back all my natural nails underneath (no glue applied). Within 6 days I had four nails come off. To top it off, he told me the bill was $48 and I gave him $60 and he asked if I "needed change". A $12 tip for that mess??? I called them later and they offered a $20 gift certificate. No way I would ever go back there! read more

Love lumi! I've came here a few times with my mom for a mani pedi and they have always been very gentle, professional and friendly! Love the variety of pedicure packages and they always do a great job on gel and regular polish toes. I got a fun polka dot design for my nails (gel, natural nail no acrylic) and they did exactly what I wanted and matched my reference photo very well! Would recommend and go here again! read more

I hate to leave a Poor Review, but very disappointed. Went "last minute" with my daughter to each get a Full Set. We did get right in which was nice! My experience was terrible. Had a male(never told me his name but sat 4th down from register next to Wilson! Never spoke ONE word to me! Not One! Left nails way too long! Had to go buy a file to fix myself! Nails were rough when left! Daughters had acrylic French Tips done and had a great experience! Bill was $134 for both. Trying to figure out WHY it was SO expe! Full set with gel $58. Add $5 for French tip. So to me Total should be $121! WHY was I charged so much??? And then CASH tip for each which they pretty much ask for! So confused and upset! Definitely will no t go back! I had my nails done by Cindy. She was very friendly and did quality work but she did often not watch my hands while she was using the electric nail file and once did cut my cuticles. She was more interested in what was going on around her than focusing on being careful. I will not be returning to this nail salon, I've given them multiple chances and think that overall the staff is very unprofessional. For the amount of money I'm spending to get my nails done I'd like to be relaxed and not feel like I'm going to get cut with the eidetic nail file or listen to the employees bicker back and forth. I sat next to booth number 16. He had a client with him and was extremely rude to her. She said she just wanted a color change and the male employee at spot 16 said " I know that you don't need to tell me that I've been doing nails for a long time." The customer apologized awkwardly. I went to Lumi nails about 3 weeks ago and got a full new set of acrylics. They went and charged me $70 for my set. It was $65 for the service and an extra $5 for a "special shape" (coffin shape)... I'm guessing they charged me for a "Full set gel extension" which is not a problem except for the fact that they didn't even put any gel color on my nails. The nail technician literally just put a clear top coat over the acrylic powder... So why charge me $65 for not even putting a color on my nails?? They also started separating a week and a half after I got them... Keep in mind this was a FRESH NEW set and not a set that had multiple fills. I've never had this happen to me with a NEW set... UPDATE: One of my nails fell off like a press on nail and completely destroyed the nail underneath... you can see there was glue only applied to half of the nail which is why they started to separate by the cuticle... read more

I waited 20 minutes for someone and they then said i was early and the girl doing my nails was doing a pedicure and coming. Then this girl tells me to come back later. First time coming here and I'm impressed! Clean salon, nice staff and good choice of colors. Only complaints: they left dipping powder on my hands (shown in first picture) and nails could have been a little cleaner on some fingers. The guy who did my nails left several times throughout the appointment, a few times he stopped to answer calls and would forget several times about skipping over fingers. (I had to remind him) And even when it was all finished and done I noticed how my nails were cut unevenly and my left thumb had uncured gel polish underneath a cured layer. *ZERO stars* I went to Lumi Nails on 04.30.25 with a gift card I received for Christmas 2024. I had not been to Lumi Nails to use the gift card until this date. At check out I was told the gift card had been used by someone named "Sihoun" and that it was not valid. Again, I had not been there to use it! After a lot of conversation I could not understand, "Mimi" called the "owner". Again, I could not understand what they were saying. I was then handed the phone to talk to the "owner". She told me she would check into it and get back to me. Mimi kept the gift card and the original purchase receipt I had showed her. In the end I had to pay for the service before leaving the salon. No call from the owner, two days later, so I called the salon and spoke with Mimi, asking for an update. She said she would call the "owner" again and ask her to call me. Still no call. Now I don't have the gift card, purchase receipt, or the cash I had to pay before leaving the salon. TERRIBLE customer service. Beautiful building, nice staff, but my nails should not chip the same day they're done. Had a dip mani done, and 5 nails chipped once I got home. Lumi Nails redid the manicure for free, but the second manicure also chipped as soon as I got home. I've been getting dip manis for years and never been this let down. read more

while the salon itself is beautiful, I do not recommend their services. My friend and I both got their $55.00 pedicure service and the foot massage was 5 minutes between both feet. My toe nails were not even and calluses are still very noticeable...this was for both of us. I got a fill and my nails look like crap. I had to have the nail tech file multiple times because the edges are so sharp. Finger nails are also crooked. Total for mani and full came to $118. I'd recommend doing to a different salon for better quality. read more

The service here is VERY inconsistent. It really depends on the tech that does your nails. I have been here several times for the dipping powder and it's really hit or miss. Dino was awful - not friendly, rushed through my service and my nails immediately started to chip! They usually last 3 weeks. Very disappointed. I have literally gone to so many nail salons and have had the worst experiences but this one is by FAR THE BEST and I will definitely only be going here from now on! Ethan was the technician who did my pedicure and he was so polite, was very attentive and listened to exactly what I wanted and needed done, he took his time and did an absolutely amazing job, I could tell he truly wanted to give me a great experience and make the services I paid for completely worth it, I highly recommend him and I will be booking all my appointments with him every time I go in! He was awesome and I'm so happy I finally found a nail salon and technician that was this amazing, I cannot even describe how great my experience with Ethan was and not to mention the salon itself is beautiful and very luxurious and I didn't have to wait a half hour to an hour even with an appointment like I have in the past with other nail salons they were ready for me the minute I walked in believe me when I say it was worth every penny read more
