Turbo Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

A truly exceptional experience at Turbo Nails. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth, professionalism, and the kind of attentive care that immediately sets this nail salon apart. The team is remarkably skilled, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to excellence. Every step of the service felt thoughtful and unhurried, and the final result was simply beautiful--polished, precise, and long-lasting. The space itself is relaxing, and refined, creating an atmosphere that feels both elevated and inviting. What makes Turbo Nails especially outstanding is the consistency of their service and the gracious spirit of their staff, especially Hannah. They go above and beyond to ensure each visit feels special. read more

Great owners and nail techs! Never had a bad experience here. Great with walk ins even with multiple people.

I've been going for years. My husband and daughter go all the time now too. Amazing massage with the pedicures. Good advice on what type of manicure/nail treatment. The lotions and warm towels and stone options are all great. Tony (the owner) is always there making sure you get the attention deserved and the details are handled. Friendly staff and very clean. read more

I called for a same-day appointment and was happy to be able to get in for a spring pedicure. They really have a HUGE selection of colors to choose from, which ensured I got exactly what I wanted. There was no wait time - which may have been due to calling ahead, but they also seem to be very accommodating to walk-ins. My pedicure was great and very relaxing. I'm looking forward to coming again next time - especially since they set me up with a punch card! read more

I have been to another turbo nails and my normal nail salon was booked so I decided to come in here for a gel manicure. The manicure itself was less than 20 minutes and my nails were lumpy towards to top. I have only had them done for 6 days & one has partially flaked off. I get gel manicures frequently and have never had this happen. I would recommend finding a salon that isn't so rushed and will give you a quality manicure. read more

Turbo Nails - 6 days in... - Nail Salons Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

Excellent attention to detail and very speedy for walk in! The place was very busy but I didn't have to wait at all. I didn't catch the name of the man that helped me, but he was at chair 12. He was so amazing at getting every little detail right from the cuticular to the gel. Was in and out very quickly and definitely coming back even with salons closer to me! read more

Friendly and kind. Easy to make an appointment. Had a pedicure. One of the best I've had in the cities. Very Covid friendly. They follow MN guidelines requiring masks. They have plexiglass between customers and staff. Very clean environment with sanitized equipment. read more

I would like to start my review by saying all the staff were very friendly. This review is solely about the quality of my pedicure- My friends and I have been coming here for nearly 6 years, and we generally have had good experiences. However the last handful of times we've been in the quality of service has just gone down hill. There have been quite a few red flags over our last few visits. For example this time they let us put our feet in boiling hot water, then asked if the water was okay temp. Last time my friend wanted regular polish. They argued with her for many minutes, and finally convinced her to get gel. She was told that regular nail polish would only last two days! My personal final straw was paying nearly $80 for my gel pedicure to smear all over my bed sheets. Either they needed more time under the UV light or there was just too much polish on them. I have no problem paying a lot for a quality job, but this was not quality like it used to be. read more

It was my first time coming here and I felt welcomed I had a luxury pedicure done and Hannah did an amazing job with my pedicure!!! she literally went above and beyond she took her time into making me feel pampered!! My feet are so soft and I absolutely love my feet Will definitely be going back to her!!! thank you Hannah!!!! read more

Turbo Nails - Pedicure nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

On 10/30, I got a dip manicure and noticed some marks on my nails when paying. They fixed saying my nails were not completely dry and re-buffed and re-applied the top coat. They looked great, although I was a bit annoyed at how long the appointment took. The next day, I noticed nearly every nail was bubbling. I ended up going back in on 11/2 making an appointment to fix again. After 1.5 hours of different staff re-buffing and re-applying the top coat, I was told I would need to come in another day and have the dip manicure completely taken off. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with Turbo Nails. To expect a customer to come in three times for an appointment to get a completed dip manicure is ridiculous. I emailed on 11/2 asking how they will remediate this situation and have not received a response. I have come to Turbo Nails regularly for the past year or so and always had great service until now. This happened when the salon manager (who is excellent), Ben, was out of the country. He keeps this place together and it really goes downhill when he is not there. Update 11/21/2019: I did receive a response from Turbo Nails and they re-did my nails. They look beautiful. read more

They got me in quick as a walk-in which was nice but the man was rushing as if they were closing and didn't want to do my nails... the process was very rushed and not how I wanted it to be all.. I've had better nails and these are way to wide and chunky changing how my natural nail beds are instead of lining it up with my nails. read more

Located conveniently near Ridgedale Mall and a Caribou Coffee across the way. Parking is in first come first serve as the location of the nail salon is in more like a strip mall. The inside décor was giving me golf club clubhouse vibes with cultural accents throughout the space. Though the space seems small it's caters to a higher volume of clients. During my visit I went seeking to get a powder gel removal and a gel full set (liquid). I didn't have a bad experience, but I didn't have a phenomenal experience either. I was say that it was a middle ground okay. The tech that worked on my nails was good at his craft and impressed me with his skills. He was also very quiet, which I don't mind because I go to get a nail art service not therapy. It was a little off putting as a first timer I wasn't directed about the process or where the sink was located and when directed to the gel colors the head man in charge kept saying that the gel polish options were "there" instead of just saying they were in the basket. My wait time wasn't long. I'm not sure if that was by design or sheer luck. The tech that worked on my nails did a really good job. I did notice that others in the salon were offered beverages, but I was not. I loved the final look of my nails. I'll be the first to admit I have fat fingers, but the shape, sliminess, and length of the nail made my fingers look thinner. So, Yay! Overall, had an okay experience and will return in a couple of weeks to see how well a liquid gel fill experience goes. read more

The lady who did my nails. Was very mean and rude. She was acting like she did not understand anything I was saying. She broke 3 of my nails and cut the nails way too short. read more

I got acrylic fills done with Sang. He was overall not too bad, I liked that he filed the underside of my nails and clipped my cuticles, because many techs don't do that when giving fills. However, he was pretty unforgiving when I asked him to shorten them after he applied the acrylic and before any polish went on. The polka dots have mixed colors as well in some places, and the nails themselves are very uneven in texture. Not to mention, I got this done about 10 days ago and the gel polish already chipped (2 days ago, so 8 days after getting them done). Not happy. read more

Never have I ever had a technician burn/rip off part of skin while waxing my eyebrow. They gave me a full refund but that doesn't justify the amount of pain my skin under my eyebrow is in right now. Hopefully they won't let that old lady do waxing anymore. read more

Me and my girlfriends went to get manicures on my birthday (August 21), this is what my nails look like 6 days later. And it's not just me, both of my girlfriends are in the same boat. The manicure was rushed and I felt like they wanted us in and out ASAP. I've gotten plenty of gel manicures in my life and they all last between 15-20 days. Never going back here. read more

For the most part, they do good work here. I've had dip manicures and gel pedicures, They are not always clear on the price they quote you and even if you make an appt with a specific person, they will change it up on you when you get there. That can be frustrating. Also, avoid Kevin! He will grind up your nail beds and cuticles and is only concerned with how fast he can complete the service. He's very rough on nails and hands. He also charges more for filing, even though the shape of my nails were already that same shape he charged extra for. And he doesn't tell you until end of service. That felt Ike a rip of, especially after rough treatment of my nails. I had 3 other techs at this same salon perform the same service and they never attempted to charge extra for filing. Overall 2 stars is fair assessment. read more

I've been an on/off customer for over 10 years. Today I had a noon appt, was left sitting in the chair until 12:30 when I flagged down the mgr. It seems they are taking first come, first serve regardless of appts today. The girl who finally did my nails never said hello, left me soaking while she put drops in her eyes etc. This was the worst experience I've had at this shop - she was rough, cut my cuticles too short etc. What a huge waste of time and money! manager did not care, I wasn't offered an apology or discount. Obviously you no longer value return customers - i will go elsewhere. read more

For me 2 strikes you're out! Last month I called at 6:30p to 1) see how long they were open 2) to to see if I could get in for a pedicure. I was told to come at 6:45p I was there at 6:45p. While getting my pedicure from the woman who was clearly ready to go home. She told me "please come sooner next time!" Seriously? I made an appointment! Rude! My nails looked like she was in a hurry but I try to give everyone another chance. So this month, I need a mani /pedi for a wedding. I called a day before scheduled a 3p appointment. It was a circus. The woman was rude and frazzled. I will not be back. Plenty other places around. read more

If your getting gels read this first!! I've been getting gel nails for years. I am familiar with the process and the expectations for how the polish preforms. I was so disappointed with this salon. They claim to use high quality products and be clean. The two main reasons I decided to try this place. The salon looks clean but they reuse the files and the buffers.... Gross. My biggest problem is that my gel manicure chipped day 1. Actually 10 min after my manicure. They felt soft and would slide around on my nails. Anytime anything hard touched my nails it would leave in imprint. I called the store and they said they would redo the chipped nails. After a little debate they agreed to redo all of my nails. Unfortunately my second manicure was just as bad. I showed the lady there how the polish was sliding around on my nails and she just put oil on top of it. She continued to tell me that it was because my nails are too weak. They weren't. I take good care of my nails and don't get gels back to back. While I was there a second customer came in with the same problem I was having with my nails. We started to chat and the owner came over and yelled at us that it's not his fault. Needless to say I will not be returning to this salon. I looked up the problem of having soft feeling gels that are sliding on nail and chipping away. This apparently is a result of crappy polish. For a salon the says they use quality products. I would disagree. read more

Turbo Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Minnetonka, Minnesota

They got to us super quick as two walk-ins! They had an enormous selection of colors to choose from. We both got acrylic sets and it was super fast. It took them about 90 minutes to do two sets of nails with complicated designs. There was a little bit of a language barrier but they were super willing to do what we wanted and worked hard and diligently to make sure we liked the nails. When it got to be time to pay, I was super shocked that it was only $67 plus tip for one set. At other salons that I've been to these nails would've been over $120 each. I would totally recommend this salon to everyone! 10/10 service and design! read more

There is a nail salon across the street and another a block away from my apartment building but I go all the way out to Ridgedale to Turbo Nails because they are nice, clean and friendly. If I could leave a zero star review, I would. While my sister was in town visiting we visited this salon to have our nails done. I was on maternity leave at the time and I wore my two month old baby in a carrier for the outing. The man in charge of the salon would not allow me to get my nails done while I was wearing the baby. He insisted I wait until my sister was done so she could care for my baby while I got my nails done. We didn't have time for that, so I ended up unable to receive a service. A business has no right to refuse me service because I have a baby with me. Period. We will not give this place our business again. read more

I have gotten acrylics multiple times and have always had a good experience. I got acrylics from Turbo Nails for the first time today and ended up with my fingers bleeding. The entire time my nails were being filed she kept cutting into my skin. I liked the final product of my nails and the atmosphere of the place. HOWEVER, when I called to book my appointment, I asked how much an acrylic fill would cost and I was told $20.00. I paid and saw that they had charged me $25.00 before I had tipped. I also was a little irritated because the initial polish I picked out was too see-through and you could see the fill line. When I asked if we could do the second coat with something a bit thicker, the lady was upset with me. When I was sent to dry my nails, she didn't bother turning the light in the dryer on. read more

I tried this salon on the recommendation of a friend. My first visit for a pedicure was OK and I thought I would give YEN a chance with my manicure. She seemed to have an edge and didn't really enjoy what she was doing but she said that she had been doing nails for years. I returned for a natural manicure last week. I told her twice that I was on blood thinners and she brushed it off. I have been getting manicures regularly for over 30 years . This was the first time that a manicurist DID NOT check the attachments on my nail bed. She used the clippers and of course cut me and I was bleeding. I asked her to quickly get the antiseptic but she said that I could wait until she finished doing my cuticles. She showed no remorse for cutting me and just said " I made a mistake". She continued to do a very mediocre job until I asked her to get someone else to complete my manicure. Ben ( I believe he is the owner) completed my manicure and he apologized for Yen's behavior. I offered to pay for the manicure and he said that I should only pay $ 8.00 and then he said just pay $ 5.00. In my opinion he should have charged me zero. His tech screwed up royally and we could have had a real mess if my blood didn't clot. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS SALON AND I WILL MAKE SURE THAT MY FRIENDS KNOW ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. read more

I have been going to Turbo Nails for at least 2 years and will continue to as long as I live in the Minneapolis area. I always feel welcome and I get quality gel fills and pedicures. I constantly get compliments on my nails and I really think that Ben and his team do a great job. I can always get in quickly and they are happy to help you in any way. I think the reason I keep going there is for the quality services and the professional feel that I get when I go in every two weeks. I would recommend this salon to anyone! read more

This place is so fantastic. The manager is very observant of his staff & makes sure every customer that comes in is satisfied. I've received pedicures & manicures from high-end salons & seriously prefer this place over anything. The techs take their time with massages, pay attention to the tiniest details, & don't pressure you by up-selling.. also they're prices are all marked! I seriously witnessed the manager go around & personally offer every single customer a juice cocktail, just out of the blue. The atmosphere is warm, soft, & welcoming -- no bright, harsh lights. It's very easy to relax here. I love this place & couldn't imagine switching to any other nail salon. Great work is done here! read more
